About the role
Crisis is committed to Housing led solutions to homelessness and as part of our ambitious 10-year strategy has committed to providing secure, settled, affordable homes for our members for the first time in our history.
The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in delivering regular financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for our new Housing Directorate, therefore, to be considered for the role you will need to be an experienced housing finance professional.
This role will provide insight and analysis and includes the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgeting, and reforecasting to provide support in decision making whilst adhering to processes, controls, and ways of working that effectively support our Finance function and support stakeholders’ needs. It will also require some collaboration with our Transformation Leads who are leading on the implementation of a new finance system (xLedger).
About you
- A fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent CCAB recognised accounting qualification) with post-qualification experience in housing.
- Proven finance business partnering in housing with a strong understanding of operational drivers gained within the charity sector, local government or commercial or social housing sector.
- Support the development, appraisal and monitoring of capital programmes, maintenance schemes and investment business cases.
- Ability to analyse data, identify issues, and provide meaningful insights.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong understanding of core financial processes and operations.
- Knowledge of financial controls and compliance frameworks.
- Experience of contributing to finance transformation or systems-related change.

About the role:
Housing First changes what is possible for people who have been shut out, moved on and let down for too long.
Single Homeless Project's (SHP’s) Camden Housing First service is expanding, and we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Project Worker to join an innovative team supporting people with long histories of rough sleeping, multiple exclusion and co-occurring needs. This includes a new and important focus on supporting couples who have been rough sleeping and will be accommodated separately in their own self-contained flats, while receiving intensive, relational and trauma-informed support.
Based from King’s Cross, you’ll work across the community and in people’s homes, carrying a small caseload so you can offer flexible, persistent and person-centred support that is shaped around each person’s strengths, safety, needs and goals. You’ll build trust with people who may have had difficult experiences of services, working at their pace while keeping a strong focus on housing sustainment, wellbeing, risk, choice and recovery.
You won’t be doing this work alone. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team and will work closely with statutory services, housing partners and specialist colleagues including health, psychology, Solace, occupational therapy and perpetrator support. With safety at the heart of the work, you’ll play a key role in supporting people where relationships, trauma, exploitation, abuse or external risk may be part of their lives. At SHP, you’ll also have access to learning, reflective practice and development opportunities that help you keep growing your skills while doing meaningful, complex and life-changing work.
About you:
- You have experience supporting people facing multiple disadvantage, including homelessness, trauma, mental ill health, substance use, contact with the criminal justice system or long-term exclusion from services.
- You know how to build trust with people who may be wary of services, using patience, consistency and creativity to keep people engaged without forcing change before they are ready.
- You understand the links between severe and multiple disadvantage, VAWG, coercion, abuse, exploitation and safety, and you can respond in a way that is trauma-informed, boundaried and safeguarding-focused.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Locality Manager (Customer and Neighbourhoods) to lead the delivery of proactive and customer centric services. Based from our office in Bristol, you will lead a team of Officers who are responsible for tenancy and neighbourhood management in a Locality that covers, Bristol and Gloucester. You'll combine office and home working in line with our hybrid approach, spending two days in the office a week. The Role

About the role:
A front door is not the finish line. For people moving on from rough sleeping, accommodation can be the first real point of safety in years — but keeping it, trusting support and preparing for independent housing takes skill, patience and persistence.
As Lead Support Worker in our Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme, you will support people accepted into RSAP move on accommodation to settle, sustain their tenancy and build the confidence, skills and connections they need to move forward. You will work with people who may be navigating trauma, poor mental health, substance use, offending histories, isolation or long periods of exclusion from services, offering support that is practical, consistent and rooted in their strengths.
You will take a lead role in referrals and assessments, develop high quality support and risk management plans, and work closely with housing, health, social care, criminal justice, substance use, mental health and community partners. From helping someone manage rent, bills and repairs, to advocating when systems become a barrier, you will be part of turning accommodation into a stable platform for longer term independence.
This is a role for someone who can combine warmth with tenacity. You will need to build trust, hold boundaries, stay calm when progress is uneven, and bring creative energy to complex situations. What you’ll be doing
Working as a Housing Management Apprentice Worker, you will complete practical work experience and academic learning to build the knowledge, skills and experience to develop a career in the housing and homelessness sector.
As an Apprentice Worker you will:
- Work as part of a team to support with general housing management and operations of accommodation services.
- Work alongside colleagues, students and volunteers working together directly with residents to support and empower people to recover from homelessness and rebuild their lives.
- Develop the skills to support housing and tenancy management functions and assist with lettings and property maintenance processes.
- Supporting with void management, repairs reporting, rent and arrears processes.
- Gain practical experience and the skills required for future employment in housing management.
- Learn how to deliver day-to-day services while collaborating with colleagues and external partners.
- Have opportunities to shadow experienced staff and receive on-the-job training.
- Complete the practical element of your apprenticeships with meetings and event attendance as well as formal learning while completing a Level Housing and Property Management Qualification
- Complete on and off the job learning, shadowing and development opportunities.
- Receive support and supervision from an Apprenticeship Advisor as well as a direct line manager, every step of the way.
Where you’ll work
Our level 2 pathway provides semi-independent accommodation and housing related support to people who may have complex needs, including multiple challenges such as physical and mental health issues, substance use and a history of trauma. We are dedicated to providing a safe, high quality and inclusive service to people while they are living in supported accommodation, and a positive move-on into independent housing.
Our residents are male and female living in shared and self-contained properties.
What we’re looking for
Our Apprentice scheme is specifically designed for people with lived experience, and we can only offer places to the people the programme is designed for.
You may have personally experienced homelessness (spent time sleeping rough, or lived in a hostel, refuge or supported accommodation), you may have experienced domestic abuse, mental health struggles, substance misuse problems or had contact with the criminal justice system and have used recovery services as a result.
We’re looking for people with motivation to build a career in housing and homelessness, who can bring:
- Learning and reflections gained through lived experience and recovery.
- Ability to demonstrate how personal lived experience has shaped your approach to support and wellbeing.
- Good communication and listening skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Some experience through volunteering or working in a similar setting.
- Basic admin and IT skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.

About The Role
Are you a positive, solutions-focused professional with a passion for preventing homelessness and reducing reoffending?
If you’re driven by supporting meaningful change for people involved in the criminal justice system, this could be the ideal role for you.
As a Housing Interventions Officer, you’ll be based primarily at HMP Parc, working side-by-side with Probation resettlement colleagues and directly with men in custody and on release. Occasional travel to HMP Cardiff, Swansea, Usk or Prescoed may be required depending on service need.
You’ll deliver housing-focused interventions that prevent homelessness, improve access to accommodation and support successful resettlement into the community.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver 1-to-1 housing advice and interventions within the prison environment
- Complete holistic housing needs assessments and develop clear, structured action plans
- Prevent homelessness by securing and sustaining suitable accommodation
- Source private rented accommodation (HMOs, shared housing, studios and 1-beds)
- Liaise with landlords and agents, including negotiating rent and tenancy terms
- Ensure properties meet legal, health & safety and Rent Smart Wales requirements
- Work closely with Prison, Probation and housing partners to manage risk and achieve targets
- Encourage engagement with Forward Connect and other appropriate support services
What we’re looking for
- Good knowledge of housing and welfare benefits systems

Our dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Workers, and Bank Workers provide personalised guidance, practical assistance, and signposting in key areas including housing, budgeting, daily living skills, employment, and healthy relationship building.
We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our team at Eastbourne Foyer, with the expectation of working from our other sites in Hailsham when required. You will hold a caseload of residents and carry out regular key work sessions with them each week. Through these sessions, you will work together to develop personalised support plans, track progress, and help residents achieve their goals.
Main areas of responsibilities are:
Housing and Compliance
- Support young people to understand and comply with their occupancy agreements, including coaching them to meet house rules and responsibilities as part of preparing for successful independent living.
- Promote a strong rent‑payment and credit culture, encouraging residents to maintain regular payments and understand their financial obligations.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and statutory requirements affecting young people, ensuring practice aligns with current housing law and organisational policies.
- Respond promptly and effectively to breaches of agreement, including rent arrears, antisocial behaviour, or property damage, using restorative approaches where appropriate and working collaboratively with the wider team.
Coaching and Engagement
- Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
- Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community.
- Ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and Trauma Informed Practice when supporting young people, observing our safeguarding procedures, and keeping yourself and residents safe by respecting professional boundaries.
- Maintain client records on In-Form (client database) detailing the young person’s journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes (to monitor service performance).
There will be times when lone working will be a requirement for this role, but you will get to know the team and service, along with an induction and training prior to starting on a rota.

- Familiarity with statutory and voluntary services available to young people and ability to work proactively with a caseload to support progression towards independent living.
Skills and Abilities
- Confident in record‑keeping, including case notes, incident reporting, and health and safety checks.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing for appropriate recording of a resident’s progression, and to evidence outcomes achieved.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including signposting and advocating for clients as necessary.
- Ability to work autonomously, and use own initiative, as well as being part of a team.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, good IT, and keyboard skills.
- Ability to de-escalate volatile situations and manage challenging behaviour appropriately.

Housing Interventions Worker - Custody based - HMP Swansea and HMP Parc

If you’re an experienced, positive, and solutions-focused individual with a passion for preventing homelessness, reducing reoffending, and supporting meaningful change in the lives of people involved with Criminal Justice services, this could be the ideal role for you.
The service supports individuals with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement as part of their Community Supervision Licence, helping them prepare for returning to the community upon release. Our service is also available to unsentenced men on remand awaiting sentencing.
About the Role
You’ll be based primarily at HMP Parc (Bridgend) and HMP Swansea, working closely with Probation resettlement colleagues and directly with service users on the prison wings. At times, you may also support the service at HMP Cardiff, HMP Usk, or HMP Prescoed, depending on operational need.
In this role, you’ll deliver housing-focused interventions to improve housing opportunities and prevent homelessness for men on probation or approaching release. You’ll ensure holistic assessments are completed, make onward referrals to specialist services, and work collaboratively with prison, probation, and housing partners to achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering 1:1 housing advice and interventions for men in custody or on probation in South Wales
- Completing housing needs assessments and developing structured action plans
- Actively engaging with Camau objectives to prevent homelessness and improve housing options
- Liaising with landlords, agents, and housing providers to source suitable accommodation
- Negotiating tenancy agreements and ensuring all properties meet Rent Smart Wales and safety standards
- Building and maintaining relationships with local authorities, registered social landlords, and private sector partners across Gwent, South Wales, and Dyfed Powys
- Supporting service users to access Forward Connect and other Forward Trust services
What We’re Looking For:
