The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. We are looking for a House Manager who is hardworking and has excellent people skills to manage our ‘Homes from Home’ Stevenson House supporting families at The Royal London Hospital.
You will be responsible for managing the house including working with the hospital to admit and welcome families, property maintenance, daily administration and compliance such as health and safety, and will be hands on with light domestic duties to prepare rooms for families and ensure the house is maintained to a high standard.
Your experience to date could come from a variety of sectors and roles such as office administration, facility management, housekeeping or health and care sectors to name a few. What we are looking for are candidates who can:

You will coordinate the Social Homes for Manchester campaign coalition and implement our strategy for strengthening the housing justice movement in Manchester and across GM. You will lead on organising community workshops and events raising awareness about campaign asks and the Manchester Local Plan consultation process.
You will convene workshops and events focused on building the capacity of a network of ward-based community coalitions to understand housing and planning policy and process. This might include how local development applications are compiled, submitted, decided on; and strategies for ensuring appropriate levels of Section 106 contributions and social rent homes are included in development applications.
You will work with the Social Homes for Manchester Steering Group and community leaders to provide coordination support to at least one neighbourhood planning process and efforts to encourage community-led housing innovations.
You will create a new set of webpages focused on provision of transparent and accessible information on housing need, upcoming developments, and performance against housing targets at ward and city scale.
About you
- You have excellent relationship building skills and experience of working with disadvantaged groups of people to take collective action to achieve positive outcomes for people and communities.
- You enjoy organising activities and events in response to community priorities, interests and needs.
- You have an organised and strategic mindset and the professionalism to foster positive working relationships between community, voluntary, and public sector organisations and representatives.

About Social Homes for Manchester (SH4M)
- SH4M is a coalition of community associations, charities, think tanks, academics and social justice organisations focused on accelerating the number of social homes that are created in Manchester by 2030 and ensuring this is done in an environmentally sustainable way.
- Much of our work over the last two years has focused on generating an evidence base, influencing strategy, and set of relationships to facilitate influence, including through convening the Manchester Social Housing Commission which concludes in December 2025.
- SH4M is now focused on implementing a two-year strategy including building a network of citizen coalitions across the city of Manchester with the information and capacity to hold decision-makers and providers to account for accelerated delivery of sustainable social rent homes. About the Bristol Men’s Crisis House
The Bristol Men’s Crisis House is a warm and supportive 10-bed home based at Bradford Lodge in Avonmouth. We’re here for men who have recently been through a mental health crisis—whether they’ve just left hospital or are finding it difficult to stay safe where they currently live. Our house offers a calm, safe environment where residents can take time to stabilise and focus on their wellbeing. We provide therapeutic support to help each person feel ready and confident to return home. Stays are usually up to 10 days, although men who are of no fixed abode (NFA) may stay a little longer if needed.
- We’re a non-CQC registered service.
- Our team is here day and night, 24/7, every day of the year.
- The service is run by Rethink Mental Illness, working closely with AWP, who handle all referrals through their Crisis Teams.
How you will make a difference:
Staffing, Leadership & Oversight
· I will ensure that staff have the correct guidance and support to fulfil their roles and will ensure that a monthly 24/7 rota ensures enough staffing capacity to deliver effective support.
Quality of Support & Environment
· I will ensure that a high standard of support is embedded within the service and will promote and support an inclusive environment.
· I will ensure that high quality support planning, risk management, outcomes measurements are in place for all residents in the service at all times.
Referrals & Risk Management
· I will review all referrals into the service and ensure these are appropriate for the service remit and that risks are manageable during the residents stay. I will ensure that all referral documentation is received.
Partnership & Multi-Agency Working
· I will work closely with AWP Crisis Teams and ensure highly effective working relationships are in place at a management and front line level to ensure the crisis house provides the right standard of support to residents using a multi-agency approach.
Activities & Resident Engagement
· I will ensure activities offered to residents in the house and externally are varied and meet residents needs and demand and are within agreed budgets.
Incident Management & Learning
· I will manage and review all incidents and severe untoward incidents that occur at the crisis house ensuring that learning is adopted and shared as needed with AWP and the commissioners. I will support joint investigations with AWP where relevant following the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
Essential skills and experience required:
· Recognised housing related qualification or equivalent relevant housing experience
· Experience in a comparable role of management, preferably in housing, social services, residential care or supported housing.
· Experience and knowledge of enhanced housing benefit, housing management, related legislation, letting procedures and Local Authority guidelines
· Ability to identify support goals and evaluate progress.
· Knowledge of risk assessments and ability to identify potential risks and how to manage risks.
· Understanding of housing management, law, policy and best practice
· Ability to motivate people and achieve positive outcomes
· Ability to communicate effectively at different levels
· Knowledge of housing needs / barriers faced by people who experience mental ill health.
· Excellent communication and literacy skills, able to produce clear, concise reports, correspondence and notes

This service supports families of children and young people (aged 0–24) undergoing cancer treatment at nearby hospitals.
Contract Overview
Location: Paul’s House, 62, 64–66 Huntley Street, London, WC1E 6DD
Contract Term: 3-year term with potential extension to five years.
- Annual Value: Up to £80,000 including VAT
- Total Contract Value: Up to £240,000 including VAT

Scope of Services
The successful tenderer will:

BIAS’s welfare and housing advice service supports members of the local Irish community and beyond with a range of complex issues, including disability benefits, pensions, Universal Credit, Irish passports, homelessness, rehousing, tenancy sustainment and disrepair. We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic person who has a background or demonstrable interest in advice, welfare or housing to join our friendly advice team. Your role will involve contributing to the establishment, expansion and day-to-day running of BIAS’s advice service in Haringey borough, providing specialist advice on welfare and housing via one-to-one client appointments, completing casework and advocating for positive outcomes for your clients.
You will need to have strong people skills and the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, clients and partners, an aptitude for working independently, excellent organisational skills and the ability to digest complex briefs. You will be required to manage an active caseload, ensuring that cases are appropriately actioned and recorded and that deadlines are met. You will work with the Advice Services Manager to build and develop the new advice service in Haringey, ensuring that we replicate our excellent quality of service, strong record of positive outcomes and loyal client base.

KEY WORK AREAS AND MAIN DUTIES
- Providing appropriate advice, information and practical help to clients via in-person appointments, outreach visits, telephone, letter or email. Where necessary, advocating on behalf of clients in the appropriate forums.

- Contributing to monitoring service delivery and recording client outcomes.

These are the basic duties required of the Welfare and Housing Adviser. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. We will also offer training opportunities to support your career development.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This role will be based in our advice venues in Haringey[1], with some presence required at our main office in Willesden and some options for flexible working (i.e. one or two days per week).
[1] BIAS is currently running its Haringey advice services from the Hornsey Vale Community Centre, with plans to expand into additional venues in the borough later in 2025.

BIAS is a local charity which has supported England’s largest Irish community in Brent for over forty-five years. We deliver our support through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. We raise over £2 million in extra income for the most vulnerable every year and have over 3000 attendances at our club services. BIAS has exciting plans for further expansion and has a range of medium- to long-term grant funding, including from Ireland’s Emigrant Support Programme.

In delivering the role, you will be responsible for:
-- Leadership and People Management: Lead and manage a team, recruiting and inducting new staff, and supporting their performance to ensure high standards of service at all times.

You will bring substantial experience in leading and developing teams within supported housing or similar services for young people and/or adults at risk. You will be a confident and effective communicator with strong facilitation and decision-making skills, able to lead your team through challenging situations with calmness and clarity. You will have proven experience in overseeing safeguarding procedures within residential services and will model professional standards, maintaining clear boundaries while fostering a culture of trust, safety and supportive relationships.

We’re looking for an Lettings Coordinator to join our team in Bradford.
As an Lettings Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to advertise Accent’s empty homes and successfully onboard new customers. You will work as part of a specialist national lettings team, advertising homes directly and in collaboration with Local Authority partners. Your role is essential in ensuring that properties are advertised fairly, transparently, and in line with relevant legislative and policy frameworks.
Moving into your new home should be an exciting experience so you’ll work closely with our customers, providing support with the application process, keeping them up to date with their progress and ensuring they feel fully informed throughout their journey. Empathy and discretion are key as you'll discuss each customer's circumstances in detail to assess their eligibility and signpost them to any support services they may need.
It's a challenging but rewarding role. Resilience is a key trait as some conversations may not result in a tenant sign up. You'll need to be highly organised to ensure we're speaking to the volume of customers needed to convert an empty property into a customers new home.
About you
• Experience in lettings or allocations, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and operational requirements.
• CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice or equivalent (or willingness to work towards) or qualified through experience.
• Proven experience building successful working relationships with external partners, particularly within the housing sector.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and specific business software.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
• Strong record-keeping skills with knowledge of GDPR.

As Church Housing Enabler, you will play a vital role in helping parishes across England develop affordable and specialist housing on underused Church of England land. You'll work closely with PCCs (Parochial Church Councils), diocesan staff, and external partners to guide projects from initial vision through to delivery readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support parishes across England in developing housing projects from vision to delivery.
- Guide PCCs through governance, feasibility, planning, funding, and sustainability.

About the Role
As a Housing Floating Support Worker, you will help women with practical tenancy sustainment, as well as ongoing support to cope, recover and move towards independence. You will achieve this through providing resettlement support, financial independence, training/employment opportunities, and ongoing housing support.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them tounderstand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.
You will have a working knowledge of housing and welfare benefits and will have excellent administrative and time management skills.
