The Charity Financial Controller will be a new role for The Christie Charity (Charity) and a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to work for a fast moving, growing organisation.
We are looking for a collaborative self-starter to take the operational lead of The Christie Charity’s finance function and oversee the financial management of The Christie Charity (Charity) group’s finances (this includes The Christie Charity, The Christie Trading Company Limited, and Northern Pathology Developments Limited), including but not limited to financial reporting, management accounting, and day-to-day financial operations. Additional information
Previously managed under a service level agreement with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, financial management has now been fully transitioned in-house, and day-to-day operations are in the process of being transitioned into the organisation with a view to strengthen independent control and governance. This provides an excellent opportunity for the postholder to be involved in transformational projects geared towards improving the finance department’s technological infrastructure and resources to adapt to the fast-growing needs of the Charity.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2026/27. This unique project mobilises a huge volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services in temporary centres across London to people facing homelessness.

You communicate clearly, build trusting relationships, and work well with residents, colleagues, and external agencies. You are organised, reliable, and able to maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational procedures.
You’re also comfortable supporting service users with practical needs such as benefits, housing, and appointments, and you approach challenges with patience, empathy, and a problem‑solving mindset. You’re also able to manage occasional physical tasks, such as helping prepare rooms or assisting with deliveries.

Additional Information
The postholder will be based at our Enfield refuge, working full-time, providing on-site support to survivors. Given the nature of this role and our refuge services, we are unable to offer hybrid working for this position.

The Specialist Practitioner role sits under the direction of the Clinical Manager and within the Therapy Team. The role is multifaceted which includes professional liaison, other types of support and direct client work through therapy and Initial Meetings. This role has been developing since 2023 to meet the needs of the service and the children and families that TGH supports. 2026 will see further change to this role as TGH aims to support children and young people within a new pathway. About the role
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Service Development Manager (SDM) to lead change and support teams across our Central and Pan London Directorate, covering Pan London GLA contracts (including NSNO, specialist rough sleeping, and migrant support services), outreach teams, and Westminster services.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Specialist Rough Sleeping Services and Westminster Regional Head, supporting with new business development and contract mobilisation and implementation. Your role will involve gathering and analysing data across the directorate while also standardising internal processes and reporting systems. You will provide support to St Mungo’s outreach teams, including supporting with the implementation of the Outreach Model Office project.
A key part of your work will be engaging with communities, mapping referral pathways, and supporting conversations with stakeholders to ensure services are responsive and inclusive.
Training and development will be central to your role—you’ll support staff in understanding homelessness legislation and prevention strategies and assist in managing transitional changes.
