Brief role description
The People Team Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support to the People Team, with responsibility for recruitment and onboarding of new employees, maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating benefits, and acting as the first point of contact for employee queries. The role holds ownership of HR administration, including the production of HR paperwork, and serves as the day-to-day generalist HR contact for all employees on behalf of the team.
In addition, the People Team Administrator plays a key role in supporting the implementation of the Charity’s HR strategy and associated projects, providing robust support to the Head of People and the People Team Advisor and wider stakeholders across the organisation. The role requires compliance at all times with company policies, procedures, and prevailing UK employment legislation.

Overview
Watford and Three Rivers Refugee Partnership (WTRRP) provide services to refugees, asylum-seekers and other vulnerable migrants in our area.
We are looking for a part-time Team Administrator to support us with administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of services we provide as well as support with the volunteer recruitment process. This post is funded by the National Lottery grant until February 2027 with possibilities of being extended. This is a part-time post of 18.5 hours a week and is office based in Watford.
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and administrative skills who understands the needs of our clients and partner organisations. In return we can offer you an interesting and rewarding role that enables you to give back to your community. We run a successful drop-in service every Tuesday from 11.30-1.30pm, a Social Hub for clients, as well as a number of ESOL classes. Key Responsibilities
1. HR Team and Service Support
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries (phone, email, in person) escalating where necessary.
- Monitor shared and team inboxes, providing administrative support to the HR team.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships across the hospice.
- Support the HR Business Partners in all areas of HR delivery including policy updates and audit process.
- Coordinate, arrange and take minutes at key meetings.
- Manage stationery and stock supplies for the HR team.
2. Recruitment and Onboarding
- Draft and publish job adverts and vacancy packs to internal and external platforms.
- Assist hiring managers with shortlisting, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Carry out all pre-employment checks, including references, DBS, right-to-work, and Occupational health.
- Prepare offer letters and contracts of employment.
- Add new starters to the HR System and order fobs and name badges.
- Organise and deliver new starter HR inductions.
3. HR Systems and Administration
- Maintain accurate personnel records in line with GDPR and hospice procedures.
- Manage key compliance tasks including DBS renewals, right-to-work checks, and professional registration monitoring.
- Report on HR metrics.
- Maintain the HR Portal and rota management system.
- Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, absences, contractual changes and other miscellaneous updates.
- Produce and issue routine HR communication (maternity, leaver, probation letters).
- Manage employee benefits and general employee administration queries.
- Track and support performance review and probation processes.
- Support managers with absence management administration, escalating complex matters to the HR Business Partners.

• Arrange induction and logistical arrangements for new employees including setting up phone, email, mobile, laptop, etc and purchasing new equipment as necessary

• Act as a Health and Safety Officer and Fire Marshal for AKF (UK)

• Create and cultivate an office culture that contributes to the happiness and well-being of all employees, including arranging birthday celebrations, celebrating unit milestones, arranging quarterly and year-end activities, and creating a space and place employees enjoy working in and feel positive about
Finance administration (5%)
• Assist the finance officers with the company credit card processes
• Scan and file bank statements
• Scan and file purchase invoices
IT administration (5%)
• Liaise with internal IT support as necessary to trouble-shoot issues and order equipment
• Work with IT services to ensure that all software is updated and maintained on individual’s computers and hardware on a regular basis (e.g. regular back up of all system software and protocols, including latest updates of virus software)
Other
• Cover the PA to the CEO and Office Administrator’s workload during periods of sickness or annual leave
• Undertake tour guide training so that visiting delegates and VIPs can be shown around the Aga Khan Centre and its internal Islamic gardens and courtyards.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the PA to the CEO and Office Administrator, Head of HR, Head of Finance and Operations, or the CEO.

I am working exclusively with a respected not-for-profit organisation who are currently in the market for a very proactive and experienced HR Administrator to join their HR team, working on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the view of potentially extending (via a fair and open process). Key Duties
Administration and support

We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join their Human Resources team on a fixed term maternity cover until December 2026. You will play a vital role in supporting LCM's mission through excellent people management. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Officer to join a highly regarded Educational Membership Body based in the heart of London. This is a full-time, permanent based in London, providing essential administrative support to the HR team to ensure the smooth running of all human resources processes and the employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR and recruitment enquiries, delivering excellent customer service to staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders

- Maintain accurate HR records and databases, run reports, update intranet pages, and ensure compliance with GDPR requirements

Ideal candidate profile:
- CIPD level 3 or 5 or equivalent
- At least 3 years in a similar HR position
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HR databases
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

The role will be based at either our Bristol Campus (BS10 5PY), Birmingham Campus (B15 2HU) or London Campus (BR3 1QP) so you should be within commutable distance. The role is hybrid with the need to be on site at least once a fortnight. This role does involve travel once a month to one of our other sites across the country and travel expenses will be paid.
