HR Advisor - Job Description
Advisory
- Provide advice to line managers on employee relations (ER) issues e.g. policies, performance management, end-to-end absence management including return to work meetings, reporting and occupational health referrals etc. Able to resolve complex employee relation issues and conduct investigations where necessary.
- Provide advice to managers across all policy and practice areas, for example on family friendly policies such as maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, carers leave, etc.
- Support the maintenance of existing policy documentation and make changes where applicable
- Proactively take responsibility for the adherence and implementation of HR policies
- Support line managers in the management of employees in probation, and where necessary extension cases
- Support line managers in performance management practices, objective setting and performance improvement plans (PIPs)
HR Analytics
- Report on HR analytics monthly and quarterly for the HR Manager, for example on headcount, sickness, recruitment analytics, staff turnover and remuneration reports.

Talent Acquisition and onboarding

- Work in liaison with the HR Administrator to coordinate and execute the Diocese recruitment processes to include working with recruitment agencies, posting job adverts, liaising with line managers for shortlisting, offers of employment to suitable candidates, and onboarding.
- Ensuring the new joiner inductions are organised and all documentation has been received and checked.
- In the absence of HR Administrator, produce and issue relevant documentation following promotions, job title changes, salary increases and ensure that HR records are updated accordingly by the HR administrator.
Learning & Development
- Identify learning needs and appropriate methods of meeting needs in the most cost-effective way.
- Support the HR Manager in the delivery of training as required, including annual conferences and line manager training.
- Ensures training requirements are met to fulfil and maintain health and safety requirements such as First Aid and Fire Safety.
- Ensures that refresher training is completed for existing employees in data protection, cyber security, health and safety, and EDI.
- Be a trusted advisor and coach to line managers on people related issues.
- Ensure all documentation is completed by employees who are supported in their further training and education by the Diocese, including a Further Education Support Agreement.
General
- Regular review of data integrity and updates to the HRIS including regular audits.
- Support the HR Manager to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies
- Deal with queries from the HR inbox to ensure effective and prompt responses

You will lead a team of four experts in project and event management, who support clinicians and specialist advisors to deliver truly impactful programmes, projects and networks, with and for the hospice sector.

About You and the Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of the organisation’s marketing work spanning advertising, social media, print, content creation, data capture and intelligence gathering, evaluation and reporting.

As a Scheme Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Oswestry Road, a leasehold Retirement Living Scheme for over 55s comprising of 26 bungalows residing in the picturesque town of Ellesmere, Shropshire.
As a Scheme Manager, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering an excellent housing management service by ensuring that repairs, grounds maintenance and environmental services are coordinated effectively and delivered to a high standard.
- Ensuring the scheme is safe for residents by completing regular compliance checks including health & safety, building safety & fire safety, in line with regulatory requirements.

About the Role
As Specialist Applications Casework Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the evaluation of specialist surgical applications for the GMC register. Working closely with subject matter experts and the Head of Specialist Applications, you’ll manage a fast-paced caseload, ensure deadlines are met, and help maintain the highest standards in specialist registration. You’ll also assist with appeals, produce clear guidance, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage specialist applications, supporting evaluators and the assessment process
- Circulate applications, minute meetings, draft correspondence, and organise virtual evaluation meetings
- Provide guidance on regulations and legislation for specialist registration
- Draft and update guidance and training materials for assessment panels and applicants
- Track application progress and ensure contractual deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Support and deputise for the Head of Specialist Applications, including appeals preparation
- Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders, sometimes deputising as needed
- Contribute to process reviews and regular reporting
Skills / Experience Required

- Degree-level education or equivalent experience
- Experience managing a busy workload and using databases/IT systems

The Role: Global Data Officer
As Global Data Officer, you will play a key role in strengthening the availability and use of high-quality data for decision-making at PEAS. You’ll work across both our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and Data Development teams, combining strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and Excel with a passion for using data to drive impact. You’ll support teams to understand and interpret data, develop dashboards to unlock real-time insights, and coordinate research and evaluations that shape our programmes and improve outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of MEL workplans across all countries of operation.
- Guide the development and rollout of MEL tools and processes for data collection and analysis.
- Quality assure data analysis and conduct ad hoc special projects.
- Work with the Data Developer to roll out the PEAS Real Time Learning (RTL) tool and maintain data platforms.
- Develop and maintain Databricks pipelines for data extraction, loading, and transformation.
- Provide professional development support to MEL colleagues globally and coordinate MEL Global calls.
- Support external research, evaluations, and reporting commitments.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, sciences, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with Python and SQL.
- Skills in data or statistical analysis, with the ability to create high-quality data visualisations.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a data role, or a graduate with a strong desire to move into data sciences.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a passion for using technical solutions to achieve PEAS’ mission.
- Experience in education programmes in low-resource settings (Uganda, Zambia, Ghana) is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for a data professional to support and manage significant changes in the way our charity uses, processes and manages data. We are looking for a Data Scientist/Analyst to help us make this change. You will be based in the LFF Research Team, reporting to our Director of Research and Impact.
This role will facilitate better use, processing and management of data across the organisation. It will focus on four areas:
- Data systems and structures
- Data analysis
- Data visualisation
- Data security and compliance
The postholder will work alongside experienced researchers to develop a new portfolio of priority projects to enhance our work. With no fixed task list or assigned service, this role offers the freedom to explore and innovate, identifying where data, data science, and data systems can drive real change.
This role will be remote or hybrid - we have offices in Bromsgrove, Epsom and Edinburgh.
