The Director of Corporate Partnerships will lead the development of strategic corporate partnerships with key organisations in priority sectors, generating significant income for Kew, influencing and supporting the implementation of nature positive strategies across the business sector and helping to facilitate business voices in influencing key audiences. With your team you will be responsible for building a pipeline of potential partnerships at a variety of levels, including an effective corporate membership scheme, corporate sponsorship and long term project funding.

The Role

About the role

As a Digital Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing technology-based learning solutions and resources that enable the successful delivery of specialist training courses across the Save the Children movement and the wider humanitarian sector. Working collaboratively with colleagues from across the team and partners, you will also advise on digital delivery, curriculum design, emerging technology, methodologies and research in this area.

In this role, you will: 

• Provide specialist digital learning expertise to support the design and development of quality online courses, blended learning programmes and other resources for the HLA and partners.
• Coordinate and support projects with Learning Solution Specialists and Regional teams and outside subject matter experts to define requirements, learning objectives, scope and delivery mechanisms.
• Design technical solutions that focus on end users' needs and complete project documentation.
• Develop digital learning solutions using a range of software tools.
• Advise the Learning Solutions Specialists, Regional teams and outside partners on appropriate tools for digital delivery and blended learning.

About you

The ideal candidate will be a specialist in instructional design, with demonstratable experience of creating storyboards and developing copy for digital content that tells stories, communicates complex ideas and engages learners.  A creative and innovative individual with strong analytical and technical abilities and experience of manging digital projects.

It is important that you have:

• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools to develop engaging learning and experiences (Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, Elucidat, Gomo, Evolve, Adapt).
• Working knowledge of developing courses for Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), ideally Moodle and/or Totora.
• Understanding of industry standards for digital learning resources (SCORM, AICC, LTI and xAPI) and experience of quality assuring and publishing resources onto LMS and other platforms.
• Experience of developing multilingual learning resources and localising content for specific regions.
• Experience of the use of standard industry tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign) to produce professional graphics and documents.
• Experience of designing and creating other micro-learning digital resources, for example animations, games, micro-sites, virtual and immersive content.

Fundraising Development Manager

The Bike Project (TBP) is looking for a Fundraising Development Manager. This role will focus on gaining support from both corporate partners and major donors alongside line managing the Fundraising Executive. 

This is a key growth area for TBP, the post holder will have the opportunity to make the role their own leading their own income stream whilst being supported by the Head of Fundraising and CEO. The Bike Project has an entrepreneurial culture born out of our online and physical bike shop which raises considerable income on an annual basis. We are now keen to grow our trading further through developing a new bike servicing model. This role will lead the development and roll out of this service alongside developing traditional corporate partnerships and relationships with major donors.

Being a small charity, we work in an agile manner which allows for creative ideas to flourish and new ideas to be implemented quickly. We hold donation sessions weekly out of our London and Birmingham workshops, so there is opportunity to see the impact of your work first hand.

• Support capacity building activities for the Start Funds Programme team and the wider and membership for relevant themes such as data quality, evidence-based programming etc.
• Support the MEAL Advisor in business development activities including the scaling-up of the Start Funds.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Previous experience delivering MEAL for humanitarian or development programmes

Key responsibilities:

Operations:

• Plan, lead and manage the operational functions of The Childhood Trust, ensuring alignment with the Trust’s mission, strategic goals and growth plan.
• Work with the CEO and the leadership team to develop and implement strategies and ways of working to achieve the Trust’s objectives.

Human Resources and People Development

• Lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s people strategy[LR1] [NM2] . 
• Oversee the Human Resources function, including recruitment, retention, performance evaluation, employee learning and development.
• Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and collaboration, nurturing a positive and supportive working environment.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure the Trust operates in full compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, including ensuring all staff have necessary training and DBS check requirements
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Maintain the risk register.
• Maintain strong governance and adherence to best practices in charity management 

​Governance and Reporting

• Support the HR, Finance, Programmes and Fundraising teams, contributing to their work as required. 
• Produce an annual operational plan and monitor weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress against the plan.
• Develop and produce monthly management reports for the CEO
• Produce quarterly operational reports for board meetings.

IT and Office 

•  Coordinate IT support services, including m[HR5] anaging the setup of new starters on various TCT IT and digital platforms and channels.
• Lead on the office move, set up and management

Job Description​

Manage high-value partnerships​

• Deliver and grow a portfolio of four and five-figure corporate partnerships, ensuring a first-class stewardship journey that maximises partnership value and delivers on agreed objectives​
• Lead on the delivery of partner events and activities that engage our corporate supporters and maximise fundraising opportunities.​

​Drive new business​

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a pipeline of prospective corporate partners, conducting research, making approaches, and securing meetings to drive new business.​

The role

The Corporate and Individual Giving Manager is responsible for generating sustainable income by identifying, engaging with, and securing funding through individuals and corporate donor relationships.

Establishing sustainable fundraising streams is a top priority for the centre. This role will play a crucial part in strengthening our strategy for Individual and Corporate Giving, with a keen focus on continuous growth. Key responsibilities include identifying and cultivating a pipeline of prospective donor relationships, as well as creating compelling corporate fundraising campaigns and providing personalised stewardship to both attract new supporters and nurture existing relationship.

This role will sit within the wider Income and Generation Team. There is a recognition that some aspects of this role might, at times, overlap with the remit of other team members (for instance, corporate foundations, corporate volunteering). There will also be an expectation that both the Head of Income Generation and Marketing and the CEO are actively involved in Income Generation from Individuals as well as Corporates, especially where High Net Worth (HNW) and more strategic partnerships are concerned. A key requirement for success in this role is to be able to function well in the context of a team setting.

Our client Peter Bedford Housing Association (PBHA) is a housing association with charitable aims that create positive change in people’s lives. As well as homes and support, PBHA empowers people to learn, access work and discover their creative talents. Based in Hackney, Islington and Newham, PBHA work with people who are homeless, have mental ill health, learning difficulties and multiple needs. PBHA’s work enables people to move on and lead independent lives.

The role:

The Housing Coordinator (Supported Housing) leads PBHA’s Housing Team to provide a quality housing management service to tenants with additional tenancy sustainment needs. They will provide day to day supervision to other members of the Housing Team. The post holder will work from local offices, with access to PBHA’s main office in Haggerston where appropriate, however some of the work will be in tenants’ homes in the community. The post holder will be issued the IT equipment necessary to facilitate mobile working.

Aims of the post

The Housing team provide work with vulnerable tenants, helping them to sustain their tenancy and participate in their community. The Housing Coordinator (Supported Housing) carries a small caseload, whilst managing a team of Housing Officers.

Specific Responsibilities

Staff Resources

• Supervising staff and volunteers in line with PBHA policies and procedures.

• Completing annual appraisals, sickness absence reviews and performance management.

• Representing PBHA at internal and external meetings as agreed with the Housing Services Manager.

• Ensuring quality service delivery via staff supervision and auditing.

Tenancy Sustainment

• To be responsible for working with a small caseload of tenants within a locality.

• Identifying individual tenancy needs through assessment and an identified Housing Plan which details risks, needs and move on plans.

• Regular contact with tenants as per plan.

• Provide a weekly housing management drop in at PBHA’s hubs.

• Ensure that tenants apply for benefits where eligible, and signpost tenants to information on how to maximise income.

• Record and monitor any breaches of tenancy agreement and work proactively and within procedures to resolve them.

• Liaise with the ASB lead, Income Officer, the Finance and Enterprises and Training departments to provide effective prevention and management of rent arrears, escalating where necessary in accordance with policy and procedure.

• Liaise with colleagues to ensure void targets are met and properties are let within agreed timescales.

• Arrange viewings and carry out sign ups of occupancy agreements and assist in the moving in/out process.

• Ensure tenants understand their rights and responsibilities in their occupancy agreements.

• Deal with complaints, nuisance and tenancy disputes as they arise.

• Work with tenants to promote self-help and mediation approaches to dispute resolution and address and escalate in line with procedure.

• Carry out regular building inspections, helping tenants to report repairs.

• Take pride in PBHA’s property and assets and encourage tenants to do so.

• Enforce the conditions of tenancy that enable PBHA to undertake urgent works such as gas servicing.

• Carry out H&S and fire checks and assessment, liaising closely with others to ensure that follow up actions are completed.

• Report safeguarding concerns as appropriate.

Team Responsibilities

• Be part of the Operational Leadership Team

• Providing a drop-in service at the Hub

• Involvement in the selection and induction of new workers and volunteers.

Customer focused services

• Lead your team in promoting participation and co-production opportunities so that tenants/participants have maximum influence over the development of PBHA.

• Participate in a rota to provide cover for emergency situations outside of regular working hours. The Rota is additional to the 37.5-hour work week.

• Adhere to lone-working procedures.

• To positively respond to, promote and signpost tenants and participants to report complaints in line with PBHA’s practice.

• To have a collaborative and co-operative approach towards resolving complaints, working with colleagues across teams and departments.

• To take collective responsibility for any shortfalls identified through complaints rather than blaming others.

• To act within the Professional Standards for engaging with complaints as set by the Chartered Institute of Housing.

General Responsibilities

• Participate in key meetings.

• Contribute to policy development, income generation, strategic and annual planning, corporate and cross-team activities, external partnerships and promotional activities as required.

• Promote, develop and support PBHA’s ethos, values and impact.

• Provide cover for other managers and workers.

Access Information 

The post is based at our Hubs. The Kingsland Hub site has one level and is accessible to wheelchair users. Clissold and Isledon Hubs have step-only access. The role involves travel within Hackney and Islington and working in tenants’ homes.

Main Conditions of Service

This is a full-time position. The post is for 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week, Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours per day. Duties will occasionally be carried out over evenings and some public holidays.

Overtime is not paid but in line with Agile working, hours can be averaged out over a 2-week period.

Annual leave entitlement is 26 days per year plus normal bank holidays pro rata (inclusive of bank holidays). This will rise after each completed year of service to a maximum of 30 days.

Salaries are revised each year. The starting salary for this post is £35,692 (SCP 18 – 22). We will usually appoint at the start of the scale.

The post holder will be auto enrolled to be a member of the organisation's contributory pension scheme if eligible.

In common with all posts at PBHA, confirmation of appointment is subject to a probationary period (6 months).
