SANE would love to hear from anyone with experience and enthusiasm for administration and working with data. The Call Back and Data Officer is key to all of the services that we deliver to people affected by mental illness, including daily planning of calls to people facing crisis and distress, and working with data to produce research, reports and case studies.

We are looking for an individual with at least 2 years’ experience of being an administrator, data officer or in an associated role. Experience within a mental health related working environment, relevant volunteering, or strong interest in mental health is also desirable. We are hoping you can bring your interest and your experience of high-quality administrative support to empower our team as we strive to expand and improve our emotional support work.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Communications to lead on all of our external communications in the UK. Pratham is one of the largest and most respected education charities in India. We developed a model that can teach a child to read and do basic maths in as little as 30 days for £14. We also have preschool, vocational and women's education programmes.

While you will work in a small, fully remote team day to day, you will be part of the global Pratham network. The team in India has over 6,000 staff, and they raise $28m locally. Pratham USA has 14 chapters and produces around 12 galas a year, which contributes to its $30m income; you can share the films and branding of their galas, meaning we can really stretch our budget to put on an outstanding event.

This project is funded by the Nature Networks Programme. The Heritage Fund is delivering it on behalf of the Welsh Government. 

Do you want to be part of a team leading the field in the development of private investment into nature’s recovery? 

In the past 18 months, The Trusts have been developing new approaches to funding nature’s recovery from the private sector, utilising novel revenue approaches such as nutrient neutrality credits and the voluntary carbon market amongst others. They have developed finance mechanisms to sit alongside these revenue streams such as a philanthropic loan system. They now want to scale up this work to help The Trusts and others to scale nature’s recovery across Wales. They need to turn policy into strong principles that allows us to develop guidelines and templates to help the Trusts across Wales access green finance. 

Our client need dedicated expertise and capacity to work with the Trusts to bring this work into a coherent strategy, develop models and plans that build revenues for nature’s recovery allowing much greater investment. This post is designed to provide that expertise and capacity to work alongside those Trust staff that are already committed to developing these programmes.

You will be from a commercial background within private, public or charitable sector. You will have an entrepreneurial approach grounded by great commercial experience. The Role

Sitting within the High Value Engagement Team – comprising Trusts and Statutory, Philanthropy, Bids and Tenders, and Corporate Partnerships – the Trusts and Philanthropy Officer will build relationships with loyal and prospective donors, raising vital funds to power the Association’s work to support more people affected by stroke.

You will report into the Trusts and Grants Manager, with key responsibilities including:

· Raising income in line with agreed personal and team fundraising targets.

· Managing a portfolio of low- and mid-value trusts and foundations: working with internal colleagues to develop and prepare bespoke funding applications and reports.

· Managing the Small Trust Mailing programme (raising c.£80k/year).

· Prospect research: identifying and researching promising new donor prospects.

· Supporting the Philanthropy Team with prospecting, cultivation and stewardship of Major Donors, as needed.

This is a new role created to assist the small but growing team at SKT with our primary goal of engaging and mobilising residents in the neighbourhood we serve, numbering around 7500 people. SKT will assume management of community and event spaces at the heart of the neighbourhood this year and we are preparing service providers to make room for community voice in shaping local services. Involving residents in shaping their future is central to our purpose, whether by ensuring local assets and amenities work for them, or by influencing service delivery. This makes the Community Engagement Coordinator role an exciting and important addition to the team.

Main Tasks: 

Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Coordination  

• Recruit and maintain a team of twenty active volunteers from the local community to assist in community building initiatives.

• Develop and deliver a volunteer programme to engage the South Kilburn community which will likely include, but not limited to:

Reporting to our Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Communications Strategy, crafting content across a range of platforms including The Pilgrims’ Magazine, our website, newsletters and social media.

Strong writing skills are an absolute must for this role, as is a keen eye for design and high levels of digital literacy. As an adept communicator with excellent attention to detail, you’ll be able to turn your hand to anything, from magazine features to short form videos, keeping abreast of the latest trends.

A natural people person with innate curiosity, you’ll embrace opportunities to visit our care homes and housing schemes and capture the stories of life with us – not just those of the older people who live there, but also those of our brilliant staff and volunteers. You’ll then devise creative ways to share these stories so they connect with our different audiences, from prospective residents to new supporters and beyond.

A self-starter, you’ll need to be able to work independently within agreed brand guidelines and with minimal supervision. You’ll also need to be highly organised, ensuring that deadlines are met and that content lands in a timely manner. Through analytics, you’ll monitor engagement, using these insights to inform our evolving content plan and drive growth.

As well as creating compelling content for our core communications platforms, you’ll also provide valuable support to our ambitious press plan, helping to amplify the voice of Pilgrims’ Friend Society in local and national media.

The Role

Reporting to the Compliance Lead, the Compliance Officer will drive the development of an improved Compliance culture throughout the charity whilst ensuring that we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws.

Key responsibilities will include:

The Role

Reporting to the PR Manager, the role will help deliver key media campaigns that call for change to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Working as a team to deliver a proactive, effective and 24/7 press office, building relationships with identified media and opinion formers, and ensure timely media responses based on organisational and reputational priorities.

· Working with the Campaigns and Public Affairs team to deliver influencing activity to key health board stakeholders, Stroke Association campaigners and the general public.

· Working with the Stories team to identify and deploy the real stories of the stroke survivors we work for.

You will have experience of:

· Generating media coverage in Scotland, ideally in the charity sector.
