We have a fantastic opportunity for an Impact Philanthropic Lead working for a globally recognised cultural and educational organisation that creates opportunities and connections through arts, education, research and cultural exchange programmes around the world. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this is a new role in the team with the opportunity to shape and grow a high-value donor programme, securing transformational support for internationally significant initiatives.

You will lead a flagship philanthropic giving programme, developing strategies to secure significant gifts from high-net-worth individuals and philanthropists. You will build and manage a portfolio of major donors, design compelling cultivation and stewardship journeys, identify and engage new prospects, and work closely with senior stakeholders to maximise philanthropic income. You will play a key role in developing long-term donor relationships, creating persuasive cases for support and helping to deliver sustainable funding for a diverse range of impactful programmes across the UK and internationally.

To be successful as the Impact Philanthropy Lead you will need:

  • Experience managing an individual giving, membership or philanthropy programme within a charity, arts or HE environment.
  • A successful track record of cultivating major donors and securing high-value gifts through face-to-face fundraising.
  • Excellent donor stewardship, relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling cases for support.
