We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Wellbeing Service Manager to lead and develop our wellbeing offer for unpaid carers in Bradford. This service provides free counselling support delivered by student counsellors, offering vital emotional wellbeing support to carers. The service also trains volunteers to offer a compassionate listening service.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a relatively new part of the charity, ensuring high-quality delivery while contributing to its growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Coordination:

1. Manage referrals into the wellbeing service, including initial contact and triage of unpaid carers into the caring callers support offer or counselling offer
2. Assess needs and match carers appropriately with student counsellors/ volunteers
3. Monitor the progress and outcomes of counselling support
4. Support the coordination of wellbeing activities across all areas including staff wellbeing
5. Student Counsellor/Volunteer Recruitment & Support
6. Recruit student counsellors and volunteers in partnership with training providers
7. Deliver in house induction and training to students/volunteers
8. Provide ongoing support, guidance, and workplace supervision to student counsellors /volunteers
9. Ensure students are working within ethical and professional boundaries

Quality Assurance & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of service delivery
• Monitor service performance and outcomes
• Produce reports for internal use and funders

Service Development:

• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the service
• Identify gaps, opportunities, and innovations to better support carers
• Support the development of policies and procedures where needed

Funding & Sustainability:

• Contribute to identifying and securing future funding opportunities
• Support bid writing and reporting to funders

About the role

This role will lead and manage the Trust’s Landscapes Recovery team, including leading and developing the Trust’s land management advisory work to support landowners and landholders to contribute to nature’s recovery. 

The postholder will work alongside the Rivers Recovery Manager, and a range of external partners to develop new funding mechanisms and facilitate delivery of nature recovery schemes at scale across Hertfordshire & Middlesex.

We are looking for a Senior IT Technician to oversee IT support services and project-related activities across a number of our successful secondary academies in Greenwich, Bexley, Thurrock and Havering.

As a roaming technician, you will provide flexible support to cover short-term absences, vacancies, or to offer additional assistance as needed. This approach ensures the continued delivery of high-quality, ITIL-aligned IT services to our customers.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality technical IT support, advice and guidance to staff, students and head office employees where necessary
• Ensuring IT Support needs are logged appropriately on the Service Management system, retaining ownership of IT support tickets and ensuring users are kept updated
• Ensuring that IT support tickets are resolved within the target resolution time
• Re-routing and/or escalting IT support tickets to the appropriate team as necessary
• Identifying, implementing and documenting workarounds for desktop related problems within the Knowledgebase.
• Identifying recurring IT incidents and performing root cause analysis to identify the underlying cause
• Notifying key contacts within the Federation and Academies under your care on detection of a major incident affecting the service or our ability to deliver a service

• Confidence using case management systems and using data to inform reporting and improvements

Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week); working part-time (minimum 21 hours) will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends will be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £46,000 with a potential step increase each year up to £51,253 (pro rata if working part time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. We also try to give a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Remote or from Rainbow Migration’s step-free offices which are based in London between Vauxhall and the Oval. Hybrid working will also be considered and can be agreed with the line manager as per our hybrid working policy. The successful candidate could work from anywhere in the UK but would be expected to occasionally travel to London and other parts of the country for meetings and events. Annual Leave: Initially 25 days per year. After two years of employment, this will increase by one day per year up to a maximum of 28 days (pro rata if working part-time).

Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead Alexandra Wellbeing House — a unique short-term mental health retreat delivered in partnership with Gloucestershire Health & Care NHS Foundation Trust. Supporting adults experiencing acute emotional distress, the service provides an alternative to inpatient admission through early intervention, recovery-focused support, and collaborative care planning.

This is an opportunity to lead a skilled multidisciplinary team while shaping the future development of an innovative community mental health service. You will work closely with NHS partners, Crisis Teams, Community Mental Health Teams, and third-sector organisations to strengthen referral pathways and improve outcomes for people experiencing mental ill health.

• Provide line management and support to direct line reports and leadership for the project.

• Create and lead welcoming parent focus groups that amplify local voices and help shape the project to be inclusive, accessible, and responsive to families’ needs.
• Data collection and reporting appropriate to the project for monthly/quarterly review with commissioners.

Volunteer Centre Hackney is a thriving charity (annual income circa £1.1m, with 29 paid staff) providing volunteering infrastructure to the voluntary sector across the City of London and the London borough of Hackney. We support over 1500 residents a year to realise their skills and passions through volunteering and social action, and to share these for the benefit of others. We also provide volunteering resource, and advice and guidance on best practice in volunteer management, to hundreds of charities and community organisations.

Through our specialist programmes, our impact on the lives of residents is huge. We match volunteers to housebound residents to help them engage with communities and leave their homes; we provide long term personalised support to people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities to help them volunteer and find paid jobs; we support patients to deliver hundreds of their own activities and peer support groups at GP practices across City and Hackney; and in partnership with Public Health, we support over 250 Community Health Champions to share vital health messaging with their own diverse communities.  

This is a hands-on and strategic role for an experienced fundraiser who thrives in a small to medium sized charity environment. You will have autonomy to develop a whole new fundraising strategy, utilise diverse fundraising methods, and build and develop new project ideas and partnerships. You will lead on income generation primarily through sourcing and applying to trusts and foundations, and with the potential to build new corporate partnerships, community campaigns and individual giving. You will build authentic relationships with funders and supporters, and together with VCH colleagues, will identify new programme models as ways to generate income. You will contribute to the development and production of compelling stories, evidence and marketing and build and maintain the infrastructure needed to track and achieve progress against annual income targets.

Post holders need to have excellent communication skills, to represent the charity in writing and in person. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivating and confident to work primarily alone, but also able to engage and collaborate with staff from across the organisation to share information and impact evidence to support your role. If you are successful in securing funding there will be the potential to recruit additional support, and for you to become the Head of Fundraising of a small team.

Job Description: Advice Session Supervisor 
Location: Hertsmere including Bushey and Potters Bar 

Role Purpose 

To supervise the delivery of high-quality advice services across multiple channels (face-to-face, telephone, email, webchat), ensuring that clients receive accurate, timely, and empathetic support. The Advice Session Supervisor will lead and support a team of advisers and volunteers, uphold Citizens Advice standards, and contribute to service development and quality assurance. 

Key Responsibilities 

Session Supervision 

• Oversee daily advice sessions, ensuring smooth operation and effective client service. 

• Provide real-time support and guidance to advisers and volunteers. 

• Manage session logistics including rota coordination and resource allocation. 

• Assisting with call back and responding to email enquiries 

Quality Assurance 

• Conduct case checks and file reviews in line with Citizens Advice quality standards. 

• Identify and address advice quality issues and training needs. 

• Support continuous improvement through feedback and coaching. 

Staff and Volunteer Support 

• Assist in the induction, training, and development of new and existing volunteers and staff. 

• Provide mentoring and technical support to ensure competence and confidence. 

Service Monitoring and Reporting 

• Monitor service delivery against KPIs and targets. 

• Support the Advice Services Manager in identifying trends and service gaps. 

Research and Campaigns

Position: Area Fundraising Manager

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Hours: 30 hours per week, 1 day working from home allowance

Job Purpose

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser.  This role won’t just be supporting fundraising internally but will be leading a fundraising change across the borough. As our Area Fundraising Manager, you will lead a new strategy to transform how our communities give, collaborate and create impact.  You’ll organise large‑scale fundraising initiatives that bring the whole town together from landmark public events to innovative collective campaigns to smaller, targeted initiatives.  As our role as an infrastructure charity, we have a vision to help generate more sustainable income for a wide range of VCSE organisations in Barnsley whilst bringing people together to proudly support the brilliant charities, social enterprises and groups who hold up our communities every day.

You’ll also work closely with our members across the sector to build confidence, skills and long‑term capability, delivering or facilitating high‑quality fundraising training, mentoring and resources. Your efforts will be particularly focused in the areas of regular giving, events, corporate income and fundraising strategies. Through your guidance, local organisations will build skills, ambition and long‑term resilience ensuring no organisation is left behind because of confidence, connections or know‑how.

You won’t just be supporting others but you will play a pivotal role to help Barnsley CVS grow stronger.  One day per week will be spent supporting our own initiatives to generate sustainable income that helps Barnsley CVS expand its support offer, deepen its impact and champion the sector long into the future.  This could be anything from supporting bid writing to exploring new income streams to innovative fundraising.
