You will hold a key role in the college and are expected to demonstrate outstanding skills in

You will be accountable for ensuring that exam access arrangements are organised to meet

Key Responsibilities:

● Strategic Leadership

○ Develop and implement a comprehensive ALS strategy aligned with the

Needs and EHCP Funding.

Summary of the role:

As the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)  Officer focuses on strengthening and supporting the various projects, including the collection of programme wide statistics to detail the reach and results of Muslim Aid UK  (MAUK) programmes. About the Role:

1. Collaborate with the MEAL Manager, country offices and partners staff to craft MEAL systems that align with the project, and MAUK Global objectives, are relevant to the context, responsive to assessed needs, are measurable and are in compliance with grant requirements.
2. Ensure that all relevant collaborators have timely access to appropriate information and evidence.
3. Support in the review and prepare timely and accurate MEAL reports, including progress reports and impact assessments.
4. Provide assistance in monitoring programme progress including the design of appropriate MEAL Plans, indicators, targets, baseline data, timelines, data collection tools that can track progress of projects’ progress.

Early Literacy Interventionist (North London)

Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you keen to work with children to support and develop their phonics and reading skills? 

38% of children from disadvantaged backgrounds leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. Chapter One is a fast-growing charity, with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive. We work to ensure that all children have 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.

Our Early Literacy Intervention (ELI) programme (based on a model that serves 20,000 children successfully in the USA) provides daily, 1:1, 7 minute phonics sessions for children who are behind in phonics. Using a bespoke technology tool, a trained Early Literacy Interventionist works individually with target children. 

This ELI role, reporting to the Schools Development Manager, is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and grow their knowledge of phonics and/or their teaching skill set. It is ideal for someone with previous school experience who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.

You will conduct initial baseline assessments and then deliver differentiated, 1:1, targeted, 7 minute phonics sessions to pupils using a systematic, synthetic approach. Although you are employed by Chapter One, you will work closely with the school team to understand the progression of the school’s phonics teaching; establish tailored plans for each child and feedback on pupil progress. Using your knowledge and insight, you will also collaborate with colleagues at Chapter One to further improve the ELI model, the online tool and programme delivery.

Key responsibilities:

Funding

· Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end funding process from development of applications to decisions and monitoring of funded programmes.

· Overseeing ongoing delivery of the funding strategy by working with Funding Managers to effectively deliver and manage funding portfolios.

· Co-chairing of funding committees as required, supporting delivery in line with our governance structures.

As the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will provide strategic financial partnership to the Director of Contract Relationship Management in order to support, challenge and influence performance against all contract deliverables.

Role model comprehensive and collaborative financial support including insight, risk identification, risk mitigation and business solutions to drive high performance, including an understanding of WEA MIS and Learning delivery.

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the successful candidate will ensure the totality of contracts are accounted for accurately and provide robust financial forecasts to support the wider financial performance of the organisation through the development of a team of Financial Contract Delivery Partners.

We are looking for a highly organised and confident Supporter Care Officer to administer and provide an excellent supporter care service for the Fundraising team.
You will be the first point of contact for prospective and existing supporters, helping with enquiries, taking donations, reassuring concerns and ensuring supporters have a positive experience with every contact and interaction they have. You will be confident working independently and will use your own judgement to solve problems and communicate with a wide range of our supporters and donors – and guiding them to key information, quickly and clearly, using offline and online channels.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Responsible for providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for prospective and current supporters who contact the charity by telephone, mail, or email.
• Deal with enquiries, concerns, or complaints about fundraising activities, diplomatically and sensitively, taking responsibility for following up with clear, accessible and relevant information.
• Send out thank you letters and welcome packs promptly and within agreed time frames, to ensure all supporters, especially new donors, regular givers and legacy pledgers, feel valued and motivated to keep donating.
• Use own initiative to thank our mid-value donors and legacy pledgers personally where possible, in accordance with our stewardship plans.
• Proactively suggest improvements to our supporter stewardship strategy and working with the Individual Giving Manager to implement these.
• Use Raiser’s edge/ RE NXT, our customer relationship management database, with accurate data entry for all enquiries, updating customers’ addresses, contact preferences and all other admin needs.

Person Specification:
 

• Have a good standard of IT skills and computer literacy specifically relating to MS office packages, database/ CRM systems and the recording or inputting of data.
• Experience of providing excellent customer service, ideally within charity fundraising.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills a good level of confidence, diplomacy, and empathy, especially on the telephone.
• Well organised and able to manage and prioritise workload, to meet deadlines.
• Able to use own judgement and take the initiative to introduce new ideas to improve service.
• Demonstrates ability to make decisions on enquiries, including escalating complex issues when needed.
• Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail, with an understanding of processes and protocols to protect data and uphold GDPR.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable talking to people of all backgrounds.

The Role

As Digital Learning Project Manager you will play a key role in helping the Law Society deliver the L&D strategy for its members. This is an 18-month fixed term contract (FTC) role.

Working with the Digital Learning Content Lead, you will ensure a diverse content portfolio is delivered within budget, on schedule and to the appropriate quality and learning design standards. The main focus of this role will be to support first-hand the development of the wellbeing page on the Methodist Church website and the internal Intranet, ensuring that the content is updated and reflective of current trends. You will also contribute to the overall efficient and effective running of the team.  This role is an important part of developing, promoting and advancing wellbeing within the Methodist church.

You should have good wellbeing knowledge and experience, project management skills, a real flair for attention to detail and the ability to develop a range of information resources and guidance materials.

Rainbow Migration is the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system and has been campaigning for their rights since 1993. We are recruiting a Senior Casework and Service Coordinator to assist the Support Services Manager, provide guidance and advice to colleagues, and manage incoming queries from service users. This role is ideally suited to an experienced caseworker looking to take the next step in their career.

Rainbow Migration has grown in recent years from a small charity generating £200k income in 2019 to £1M in 2024. The Senior Casework and Service Coordinator is a new role that will take on some of the responsibilities of the Support Services Manager, freeing the manager up to work on service development and strategic matters.

· Managing systems for incoming service user inquiries

· Casework for service users with the most complex needs or challenges

· Facilitating complex case discussions with colleagues and providing support and guidance

· Ensuring accurate reporting on service delivery outputs, outcomes and trends

Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time (minimum 28 hours) will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £36,994 with potential annual step increases up to £41,315 (pro rata if working part time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, we consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. Annual Leave: Initially 25 days per year. After two years of employment, this will increase by one day per year up to a maximum of 28 days (pro rata if working part-time).
