We’re looking for a dynamic Delivery Manager to drive our partnership development work across Leeds and Newcastle! This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of passionate Youth Development Leads, building and nurturing partnerships that directly benefit young people and help scale our impact in two of our key regions. You’ll work closely with employers, training providers, and community organisations to co-create local solutions and open up meaningful education, training, and employment pathways.

This role sits at the heart of our delivery model, blending operational leadership with strategic relationship building. You’ll be managing performance, ensuring compliance, spotting new opportunities, and helping to shape place-based delivery plans that are grounded in what young people need right now.

The successful candidate will need to travel regularly between Leeds and Newcastle to support their team and develop relationships with local partners, so flexibility and a love for collaboration are key! About the role

Reporting in to the Head of Multi-Country Cluster (MCC), the Operations Lead for the Latin America & Caribbean region is a member of the senior leadership team and provides strategic and representational leadership for the cluster on operational excellence, making things happen for programme colleagues and partners across multiple countries and connecting with other departments to facilitate programme and advocacy impact, aligning with organisational values and goals.

The post-holder will manage internal operations for effective programme delivery across the MCC, including ensuring that partners
(active, inactive, new) are supported with capacity assessments (POCRA), in line with Charter for Change commitments, and putting in place systems and procedures to ensure swift, compliant funding flows to partners in high-risk environments in line with Christian Aid’s risk appetite to maximise impact.

The role will ensure compliance to Christian Aid grant making policies though close cooperation with finance and partnership leads.

Christian Aid operates in Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Haiti within the Latin America and Caribbean region. 

Some of the main areas of responsibility for the Operations Lead will include:

• Drive our systems to enable better high-performance and delivery of strategy at MCC, aligning with organisational values and goals.
• Foster a mindset of connection and collaboration across the priority countries that enable portfolio leads to achieve success. 
• Foster a team mindset to ensure that the Business Insight and Process Improvement Team work alongside the Tech Team to support improvements in ways of working and build towards operational excellence through systems developments and improvements to maximise impact. 
• Manage our risk appetite by planning well, having agile budgets, invest in innovation while maintaining our integrity as a UK registered charity and a going concern. 
• Drive the team to ensure adaptability and agility of our programmes, keeping our organisation lean, finding cost-effective solutions and streamline decision making to enable flexible and responsive to evolving needs and contexts within the MCC.
• Oversee the digital platforms to ensure they secure and provide new ways to engage communities and develop new innovative technological use (including where AI is applied), to listen to and work with CSOs and other partners, as well as provide exciting and decolonial ways to gather data about impact across the MCC. 
• Manage internal operations for effective programme delivery and ensure cost efficiency by considering whether repetitive and/or non-core activities are best provided by a third party via outsourcing to finding cost-effective and streamlined solutions.

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Degree ideally in Management Science or Organisational Development or substantial equivalent professional experience.
• Substantial experience in business insight and process improvement on operational excellence (e.g. planning).

• Demonstrated ability to get things done in complex settings.

Key Responsibilities

· Process a range of applications for assistance to help low-income families with grants towards essential needs. Analyse information against criteria, interpret financial information, liaise with other outside agencies and reach awards and recommendations on financial assistance.

· Monitor and respond to requests for assistance via telephone, email and post.

· Ensure all communications are personalised, reflective and demonstrate empathy and an understanding of individual circumstances.

· Maintain detailed and accurate case and financial records, logging data received, and actions taken in line with current policies and procedures.

· Draw on all available resources to offer support to beneficiaries, advise beneficiaries on possible benefit entitlements and signpost to other sources of support, where appropriate. 

· Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the role in line with procedures and Data Protection legislation.

• Previous casework experience in the charity or public sector

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Grants & Trusts Manager to join our Income Generation Directorate. You will play a key part in securing vital income to support our work and mission. As the Grants & Trusts Manager, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver essential funding for the Association.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification and development of a portfolio of grants, trusts, and foundations.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with funders to secure long-term partnerships.

About the Role 
The Senior Impact & Evaluation Adviser will provide expert advice on impact, evaluation, and evidence strategies to impact and learning colleagues in UK country teams (who will lead on individual project design, implementation, data collection and analysis). They will support and provide capacity building for colleagues to embed high-quality design, impact measurement, and evaluation into major new initiatives; and lead UKI's approach to ethical research. 

We are looking for someone with extensive experience applying a range of qualitative and quantitative methods in social change research. The Role

As a Donation Centre Sorting Assistant, you will be reporting to the Donation Centre Manager, you will be responsible for quickly, efficiently and accurately sorting donations of clothing, bric-a-brac, electrical and all other donated items, for re-sale in our network of charity shops and via our eCommerce outlets. This role will operate in accordance with all health and safety regulations.

You will be expected to receive stock donations from our donors in a friendly, positive and welcoming way. We do not turn donations away as we have a significant growth plan for our retail network, so it is essential that you are able to remain positive and welcoming to all supporters and demonstrate our gratitude for receiving donations. Great customer service is also essential to maximise income through Gift Aid sign-ups and every donor should be encouraged to sign up to Gift Aid, if it is applicable for them.

Specifically, you will:

- Quickly and efficiently sort a wide variety of donated stock.

- Ensure that donated stock is stored appropriately and safely, in accordance with all health and safety regulations and charity policies, minimising the risk of damage and stock loss.

- Identify if any specific donated stock suits the profile/demographics of specific shops in the retail network and ensure that those items are ringfenced and delivered in a timely manner to maximise income for the charity.

- Communicate with Retail teams regarding stock offers and ensure that any requests for specific items are actioned in a timely manner.

- Create an engaging and supportive environment for our volunteers and ensure that the Donation Centre is a great place to work.

- Help create a welcoming professional atmosphere and deliver high standards of customer service for all donors, customers and supporters.

- Support the volunteer team by providing communication, support, guidance and direction in the absence of the Donation Centre Manager or their Deputy.

- PAT test donated electrical items to ensure that they are able to be sold in the shops, or via eCommerce (training will be provided).

The Debt Technical Supervisor provides real-time support and constructive feedback, helping advisers navigate complex cases and ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and information. Additionally, the role includes auditing delivery partner organisations to prepare them for external reviews and supporting them in meeting compliance and quality standards. The supervisor will collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to promote best practices, address risks, and contribute to the continuous professional development of advisers.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Essential Criteria:

1. Experience and Skills:

• A minimum of two years’ full time (2,220 hours) or equivalent part-time experience of delivering debt advice
• Hold a valid Money and. Pension Service accredited qualification in debt advice
• Have recent knowledge and experience of specialist debt casework
• Ability to supervise, develop and motivate a team of Debt Advisers to achieve performance, quality and Continuous Professional Development
• Understanding of the issues involved in interviewing clients (all channels)
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex information and produce and present clear reports verbally and in writing in cross cultural settings.
• Ability to work with funders and (partner) organisations to earn and maintain the trust of the people with whom Toynbee Hall deals.
• Experience of the monitoring, managing and evaluation of projects and performance
• Have achieved the MaPS competency requirements for a Technical Debt Supervisor (or be working towards these) and have experience of monitoring casework for quality.
• Proven ability to work creatively to support change management using a solution-based approach that resolves issues and accomplishes goals
• Ability to lead and contribute to the team, including the ability to prioritise own work and the work of others, and take decisions in relation to service delivery and rota cover (if required)
• Ability to create a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well managed, dignity at work is upheld and staff are empowered and motivated to do their best
• Ability to best use IT systems and packages in the provision of advice services, including Microsoft Office, Teams, and case recording tools eg AdvicePro

• Competence in handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
