About the park
Southern Park is a popular community greenspace next to Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park at the heart of the Greenwich Millennium Village development. The site comprises wide open grassland, native tree and shrub areas and wildflower meadows and is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC). The park is also an important space for local people to relax and enjoy recreational activities, with several well-loved play features.

About the role
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to establish their career in the parks and conservation field, working with the support of experienced staff within the Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park team. The Project Officer role oversees the site's landscape maintenance contract to ensure the park remains attractive, safe, and well-managed. The role also adds community value by supporting engagement with local residents and enhances ecological value by facilitating volunteer involvement in habitat management.

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Project Officer with good administrative skills. You will be able to foster a strong working relationship with the Southern Park landscape maintenance contractors. You will have a passion for engaging people with wildlife and nature in an urban environment, along with experience working with volunteers and/or community groups from diverse backgrounds. You will have the capability to relay information effectively to a broad audience, both verbally and written. Being flexible and able to juggle priorities in a busy, ever-changing environment is key to this role

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Parkinson's UK, our newly created Performance Analyst role will ensure the work being done to deliver the strategy can be effectively measured against performance targets. This role sits in our Performance & Programme Delivery division which will lead the development of a new Programme Management framework that ensures the charity is able to successfully deliver on its mission to be fit for the future, with an eye on our full portfolio of work

You’ll play a key role in analysing and improving organisational performance by collecting, interpreting, and presenting data to support strategic decision-making.

What’ll you do

• Oversee the development of high-level, executive-ready reports and visualisations that provide clear, accurate, and insightful information to senior leadership, directly supporting strategic decision-making processes.

• Strategically partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organisational objectives, establishing sophisticated tracking mechanisms and frameworks.

• Proactively identify systemic inefficiencies and develop comprehensive, data-driven recommendations with a focus on significant organisational impact and long-term performance enhancement.

• Drive collaborative efforts across the organisation to ensure strategic alignment on overarching performance goals, metrics, and reporting standards.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in a similar role, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Knowledge of and cross transferable expertise in a range of relevant tools is essential. For example: SQL, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI, SPSS 

• Knowledge of qualitative or quantitative research methods, research ethics and research design is essential

• Experience in creating and delivering reports that effectively communicate insights and recommendations

• Experience of managing complex data sets and drawing original insights from organisational performance data to inform executive board decision making 

• Experience of developing charity performance and impact frameworks, and using impact reporting to tell the charity’s story

The Learning Disability & Neurodiversity Carers Service Coordinator role sits within the Adult Carers Team and supports carers from the age of 18 upwards who look after a family member, friend or neighbour living with a learning disability or neurodiversity. The Service Coordinator will act as a first point of contact in a busy, fast paced environment responding to enquiries and referrals from both carers and professionals. The post holder will offer immediate signposting support and offer additional one to one support via a home visit if appropriate. The Service Coordinator is responsible for promoting, managing and developing a programme of peer support groups and will work collaboratively with carers and the Adult Carers Team Leader to identify opportunities for service development and the creation of new groups to increase our reach.

To be considered for this role you will have experience of working or volunteering in a Health and Social Care setting - whilst you don’t necessarily need to have experience of supporting carers previously, you must have demonstrable experience of supporting and assessing the needs of vulnerable people. You will have the ability to communicate effectively and credibly with a wide range of people in a wide range of settings and will be confident establishing relationships and working alongside a variety of professionals. Overall, you will be warm and approachable, passionate about delivering high quality support services to unpaid carers.

Turning Tides is a charity that supports people experiencing homelessness in West Sussex. While our central office is in Worthing, our work spans the county – from East Grinstead to Littlehampton and across areas in between. With over 20 accommodation projects, community hubs and outreach teams, we offer local single adults tailored support to move towards a more stable future. Working Hours

Our Young People need care 24/7 so we have fixed rotas, with staff needing to be able to commit to weekends and bank holidays.

For Waking Night support staff; shifts are 11.5 hours from 20:00 - 07:30 or 21:00 - 08:30, on average you will be working 40 hours a week.

There is always the possibility to do overtime if you need a bit extra, this is paid time and half; same as bank holidays.

Who are we?

London Gypsies and Travellers (LGT) is an organisation that challenges social exclusion and discrimination, working for change in partnership with Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people. We work with families across London Boroughs, including those living on council caravan sites, roadside camps, in bricks and mortar housing, and those experiencing homelessness.

Our Bright Futures programme offers mentoring and skills support to young Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people aged 15–25 years. Through tailored one-to-one work, group activities and practical help, we support young people to build confidence, motivation and pride in their identity, while developing the tools they need to succeed in wider society.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Youth Project Worker to support the delivery of Bright Futures. This is a varied role that combines project coordination, outreach support, administration, and direct engagement with young people.

You’ll help keep the programme running smoothly behind the scenes while also building trusted relationships with partner services and young people and families, supporting communications, and contributing to learning and reflection.

What will the role involve?

As a Youth Project Worker, you will:

• Support the day-to-day administration of the mentoring and employability programme, including record-keeping and report preparation
• Help coordinate communications activities such as creating new material, WhatsApp updates, and social media
• Maintain and grow referral networks with employers, training providers, and community organisations
• Engage directly with young people and their families to raise awareness and encourage participation
• Hold a light caseload of mentees and support mentoring activities as needed
• Contribute to programme monitoring, evaluation, and learning

Role: Youth Project Worker
Hours: Part-time, 2 or 3 days a week (14 or 21 hours contract)
Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 p.a. (pro-rata) depending on experience and qualification

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media Manager with strong content creation skills who will lead on our organic presence across multiple channels. This is an exciting time to join the Communications team as we develop our social media platform strategies, increase our collaboration with talent and influencers, align our organic and paid digital presence and experiment through a test-and-learn approach. About you

You will have expertise in driving engagement and awareness across multiple channels, be skilled at producing and commissioning creative content, strong experience in community management and be up-to-date on the latest trends and changes in the social media landscape. Experience of working in the charity sector and a sound understanding of what makes good fundraising content would be a distinct advantage.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working within the parameters of an established brand whilst driving innovation and maximising creative opportunities. You will be equally at home with the day-to-day management of social media accounts as with working with the Head of Communications and Content to develop and deliver our strategic objectives using data and insights.

 About us

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. This role will require you to lead on organic social media as part of the DEC Communications team, working closely with the Digital and Innovation team in Fundraising, collaborate with social leads across our 15 member charities and public figures through our talent agency. During appeal launch periods it will also involve managing a small social media team of volunteers.

All roles at the DEC are based in our London office. We operate a hybrid working model, with some non-negotiable office attendance. Please note, during the two-week appeal launch period, staff are required to work extremely long hours, in a faced-paced busy environment, with mandatory office attendance.

About the role

You will be joining a friendly and face paced fundraising team to identify, support and retain regional supporters. You will be responsible for

* Driving engagement across your region (and beyond) to proactively identify, support, and retain supporters.

* Working with the wider Regional Fundraising Team and collaborate on relationships that might be across the UK

*You'll be generating a strong network of community and corporate supporters to secure sustainable income for the charity. You'll also be building a pipeline of prospects of community and corporate to ensure future support.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have
*Demonstrable knowledge of what it takes to proactively identify, develop, and cultivate supporters to maximise income and deliver against KPIs, objectives and the Community Team business plan.

*A good knowledge of the fundraising landscape and opportunities in the UK

*Experience of building and account managing/stewarding a personal portfolio of high value supporters & corporate partners, volunteers and in aid of events to achieve your financial target.

Please note that this is a home based role with travel across the South Coast. You will need access to a car and have a valid driving licence. Please note that applications are been taken on a rolling basis and an immediate start is preferable due to the contract length.
