Main Purpose of Job
● To provide people with criminal records released (or about to be released) from prison or secure hospital with advice, assistance, and advocacy services in order to improve their wellbeing, enable them to establish and sustain independent

● To help InsideOut participants to maintain and develop strong, healthy relationships with those around them – friends and family, neighbours, civil society, and those able to support them or offer them opportunities to support others
● To use volunteering to develop participants’ skills, knowledge, and confidence
● To enable participants to gain paid employment/self-employment where this is their aim
● To develop and maintain good working relationships as part of the VCKC team (maximising potential to contribute to a positive culture and to achieve our shared objectives)
● To liaise with a wide range of statutory and non-profit stakeholders, including prison staff, health, and probation service teams, to further the objectives of the programme
● To promote the impact of the service and the needs of participants

Purpose of the Role

Role Summary
Beyond Sport is seeking a dedicated Grants Manager to lead our end-to-end grant-making process across our global programmes. This partner-facing role will lead all grant application processes, including due diligence, approvals and agreements as well as grantee relationship management through the life cycle of the grant.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a truly global organisation. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the team in both the US and the UK, reporting to the Senior Programme Manager (UK). The position will support the strategic programme implementation and work alongside specialists in the team on Monitoring and Evaluation and Events & Capacity-Building.
Key Responsibilities:
Grant Management
- Lead on all communication with grantees (and award recipients) across programmes.
- Manage grantee payment and reporting schedules with clear expectations and communications.
- Build and own the organisation's system of communicating with grantees (and award recipients).
- Collaborate with Finance on grantee bank account details, payments, and invoicing.
- Coordinate with the team to support grantees through marketing, events, and capacity building opportunities. Work cross-team to support grantees to fulfil monitoring and evaluation of grant requirements, insight surveys and financial reports where needed.
- Maintain the grantee CRM database, ensuring data is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to use.
Grantee Selection Process
- Manage the grant application process from start to finish for funding and award programmes.
- Lead the preparation of all grant applications including fund design, funding criteria, design of application and review scoring process.
- Responsible for supporting potential applicants during the open application period.
- Lead on all tasks required once the application process is closed, including collating and summarising applications, scoring and recommendations and due diligence.
- Coordinate with external expert advisors, judges or participatory panels with transparency around roles, timelines and compensation.
- Draft and process the signing of grantee approvals and agreements engaging with the Board of Trustees in grantee approvals where needed.
- Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation Lead on key data from selection processes to inform the Beyond Sport Measurement Framework and learning.
- Manage the system of storing relevant up-to-date application information in our CRM database.
Miscellaneous
- Where required manage and support specific global programme or awards including partnerships management and design.
- Advise and support the development of the Beyond Sport Awards.
- Understand new trends in grant-making and recommend new approaches to processes.
- Contribute to organisational strategy and objectives.
- Support with agreements for consultants, advisory groups and judging panels for experts supporting grant-making for both UK and US programmes.
- Support business development with opportunities which rely heavily on grant-making or award-making.
- Support back donors and key stakeholders' relationship management across Beyond Sport’s funded programmes.
You will have:
- 4 years’ experience working in a charity or foundation with focus on grant management and application processes.
- Experience with diverse grant-making approaches such as participatory grant-making or grant-making to social enterprises.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2025. This unique project mobilises a huge volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services in temporary centres across London to people facing homelessness.

Contract: Fixed Term Contact – starting 16 September 2025 until January/February 2026 (as required

Location: Canning Town Warehouse, Unit 4 SEGRO Park, London E16 4ES - three days per week onsite. Additional days and locations across London will be required during the Christmas period when our sites are operational.
About the role
We are looking for three new Project Assistants to support the delivery of a range of services our guests need to have a safe and happy Christmas. From healthcare and catering to advice and wellbeing services such as arts and crafts and salon, our services can make a real difference. You will support with the recruitment and management of Crisis at Christmas volunteers and external partners to help deliver services, ensuring teams have all the information and equipment they need. This is a varied role including processing volunteer applications, creating comms materials, managing and communicating schedules, organising training, organising and setting up kit, ensuring our teams of specialists have the equipment and materials they need as well as getting stuck in and helping out directly once our centres open.
This is great role to kickstart your career in the charity sector, as well as in project management or events roles.

The ISVA provides proactive support and advocacy to female survivors of sexual violence who are engaging with the criminal justice system. You will work as part of a growing feminist Rape Crisis service that is developing to meet the needs of women and girls. The Role

Casework
· Solution-focused casework interventions with women who have experienced VAWG and severe and multiple disadvantage

The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a Society of over 1,700 members from 100 countries, who work in, or are interested in tropical medicine and global health.
RSTMH organises and participates in events as a crucial way of showcasing, discussing, and debating key areas of tropical medicine and global health research and practice. Our range of events are wide. We deliver conferences and webinars, social events, research meetings for early career professionals, and high-profile debates and discussions. They happen across the UK and around the world, both online and in person. Our events add to the impact of our work in tropical medicine and global health, but also raise funds to allow us to continue our work as a charity.
The Meetings and Events Manager would lead on the delivery of the RSTMH meeting and events strategy. The role requires a self-starter who is excited by the prospect of working on such a broad range of meetings and events. The candidate needs to have excellent communication and relationship building skills, and to be organised, flexible with a great attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Alumni Engagement team who provide support to an alumni base of almost 40,000 contactable alumni of the Sutton Trust programmes. These are generally young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds who move into highly competitive universities, courses and careers. The alumni community has grown rapidly over the past 3 years and now expects around 6-7000 new alumni to join each September. Engagement covers supporting their transition to university and into the workplace through communications, events and programmes. It also spans alumni volunteering, our Alumni Leadership Board, and working with our Development team towards alumni giving.
The role is dynamic and diverse, requiring you to be able to think strategically whilst devising and delivering on operational delivery plans, and we are looking for a confident and experienced team leader during a period of maternity leave.
This role is part of the Programmes Leadership Team and will work closely with the Director of Programmes, Head of Employability Programmes and Head of University Access & Digital on shaping the strategic direction of the team and its programmatic work. The role will also connect closely to the work of the Development Team as we look to devise and implement a segmented alumni giving scheme, as well as the Communications and Policy team, and may evolve to take on new projects over time.
Main duties
- Strategic leadership to alumni engagement, including:
- Embedding alumni relations and programming across the organisation, ensuring alumni are considered or involved in all areas of the Trust’s work

London Youth Gateway is a sector leading service supporting 18-25 year-olds facing homelessness or rough sleeping across the capital. You will be playing a leading role in helping to shape the work of the partnership, its collaborative processes as well as its connections with each of the London local authorities.
This is a key role in our organisation, and we are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in partnership and stakeholder engagement who knows how to get and keep people on board to meet mutual or differing needs. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and persuasive negotiator with an eye for detail. You will be able to facilitate multi-agency meetings and collaboration, hold responsibility for regular reporting to the commissioner, and contribute to our broader policy and influencing work. Following a promotion, Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is hiring for a Research Officer is responsible for ensuring charitable funding supports the highest quality projects within our funding priority areas of: research; patient and family experience; technology and medical equipment; hospital staff support; education; and environment (through supporting redevelopment projects and capital builds).
Salary
The salary for this position is £31,935 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.
Key Responsibilities
Research grant management
- Managing the delivery of GOSH Charity’s response-mode funding schemes, including our National Research Project Grant and ‘Lift Off’ pilot study funding call and others.
- Supporting potential applicants via email, phone or in person to ensure we receive high quality grant applications.
- Processing, reviewing and validating grant applications.
- Leading the peer review process using our Grant Management System.
- Project managing the delivery of the Research Assessment Panel.
- Supporting the input of patient and public voice, to ensure they’re built into our research funding decision making.
Committee management
- Providing operational and secretariat support to the Research Assessment Panel and Lift Off Scientific Assessment Panels, and other expert research review panels as required.
- Managing agendas and meeting logistics, including face to face meetings as they are arranged.
- Preparing papers and reports, and collating these from across the team for delivery to the Committee in good time.
- Preparing high quality minutes that provide a clear record of discussions, decisions, and actions, and disseminating these following internal and Chair approval.
- Support the regular review of the Committee membership and tenure.
- Evaluating and recommending improvement and applying sector best practice to the Committee operations.
- Being a first point of call for Committee members, supporting them to deliver their role and ensuring they have a good experience working with GOSH Charity

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience working in grants management or within relevant scientific research.
- Knowledge of research principles and the UK research funding environment.
- Sound knowledge of paediatric research or similar discipline.
- Demonstrate experience of research quality assessments, including peer review.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong relationship builder, with the ability to network in the scientific, clinical and research communities.
- Either an undergraduate degree in a relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
