About the role

What you will be doing
As a Fire Safety Engineer at the Crick, you will:
- Act as the Systems Owner and Technical Authority for the entire portfolio of active fire protection systems
- Undertake and lead the development, implementation, and ongoing review of the Institute's Fire Safety Policy, Strategy, and Management System.
- Lead the investigation of all fire incidents, alarms, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Fire and Rescue Service, building control, and other enforcing authorities.
- Collaborate with and support Engineering Project Managers, ensuring project works are delivered without compromising the live environment and meet all fire safety regulations.
- Prepare and present a comprehensive Fire Safety Dashboard and operational reports to the quarterly General Health and Safety Committee and Fire Safety Group, providing data-driven insights, trend analysis, and actionable recommendations.
About you
You will have:
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or an equivalent qualification (e.g., IFE Level 4 Diploma, Certified Fire Protection Specialist - CFPS).
- Graduate or Member grade of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (GradIFSM / MIFSM) or equivalent professional membership (e.g., IOSH, RICS).
- Significant experience as a Fire Safety Specialist/Engineer in a complex, high-risk environment (e.g., healthcare, research, industrial, major commercial).*
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience as a Systems Owner for a range of complex fire protection systems (sprinklers, gaseous suppression, fire alarms), including administering isolations and impairments.*
- Expert knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Building Safety Act 2022, and in-depth technical knowledge of British/European Standards for fire safety systems.*
- Proven ability to analyse complex situations, identify underlying risks, and develop pragmatic, effective solutions.*
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to all levels of the organisation and external authorities.

DIGITAL PLATFORMS & CONTENT MANAGEMENT (50%)
- Manage Mission 44’s communications calendar, ensuring timely and consistent content across website, email newsletter, and social media channels.
- Coordinate content scheduling, publishing and distribution to maximise reach and engagement.
- Maintain and update the Mission 44 website to meet organisational and audience needs, including publishing content and ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure our digital communications are consistent with compliance best practice, including as it relates to data protection and safeguarding.
CONTENT PRODUCTION (20%)
- Support the planning and delivery of creative content and digital campaigns to drive engagement and increase impact.

Role Purpose:
Working closely with the Director of Programmes to manage and help develop a portfolio of funds across Access’s enterprise grant, blended finance and capacity building work, the role holder will be the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of social investors, enterprise grant providers and other organisations funded by Access.
It is anticipated that this role holder may particularly specialise in the management of enterprise development funds, and those that are more local (place-based) throughout England.

Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management
- Be the day to day point of contact for a portfolio of organisations who are applying for funding and/or delivering Access’s programmes.
- Build strong productive and supportive working relationships with delivery partners, in a spirit of collaborative endeavour and learning.
- Maintain comprehensive and clear records on Access’s systems of the status of the relationship and any key questions or issues which are currently being addressed.

Performance Management
- Following an agreed pattern and schedule, regularly meet and speak to the delivery partners to receive updates on performance, and key issues.
- Ensure robust financial management of funds, including monitoring deployment targets of partners, managing budgets and the process for drawing funds from Access.
- Ensure that regular performance data is submitted to a high quality and in an agreed format with each delivery partner. Perform checks to ensure accuracy and check understanding with the delivery partner.
- Ensuring the uploading of data into Access’s management systems and producing the required performance reports for internal and external use.
- Use this performance data to analyse performance within each delivery partner and across the portfolio, including supporting the publication of a quarterly dashboard. Work closely with colleagues to identify trends and understand reasons for those trends.
- Work with delivery partners to address areas of under-performance, escalating issues where necessary to the Director of Programmes and Access committees.
Guidance and Support
- Use performance data and insight from different partners within the portfolio to identify opportunities to support partners with, for example, peer support around areas of good practice.
- Offer expertise within Access and across partner organisations to support delivery partners in particular aspects of their work.
- Where challenges are common across many delivery partners, work with colleagues and the Director of Programmes to develop shared solutions, tools, or learning resources which might address those challenges.
- Support the design and delivery of external events, including peer-learning events.
Facilitating and supporting decision making
- Reviewing and co-developing plans and proposals in collaboration with partners.
- Writing papers including assessment papers for Access committees, presenting clear information and context to aid understanding and decision making.
- Present analysis based on performance data and qualitative insight to inform decisions within the team about ongoing relationships with delivery partners.
- Actively participating in the peer-review of assessment papers produced by other colleagues in the Programmes team.
Supporting learning and programme design
- From data and insight gained through performance management, work with colleagues across Access to identify common themes within the portfolio to aid Access’s learning and influencing objectives.
- Work with the Director of Impact and Evaluation to analyse performance data and make it available for publishing in various forms.
- Based on learning gathered across the portfolio within the Programme team and across all of Access, work with the Director of Programmes to identify how programmes can be improved and developed.

About The Role
Events are a key component in our visitors’ experience at a WWT site and we have big ambitions to develop and deliver an even stronger calendar of innovative events in 2026 and beyond.
Working with the Head of Interpretation and Programming and the Centre Managers, you will lead on the development of new seasonal events, from ideation and concept stage to multi-site implementation, with the objective of driving new and repeat visitation. Project Trust is an education charity with over fifty years’ experience in international volunteering for young people. We organise challenging, long-term placements for 17–25-year-olds with partnership organisations in Africa, Asia and the Americas.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Working with the Senior Brand Manager and wider Brand and Content team, the successful candidate will deliver end-to-end projects to bring the brand alive and support our fundraising, communications and international teams to drive income, awareness and support successful user journeys.
The role will advise all ShelterBox teams to work within brand guidelines and enable teams to access and use assets and templates by maintaining accurate systems. They will also support wider development of a purpose-led brand, using insight and by building strong relationships with audience and channel owners.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Are you looking to join an in-house Brand and Content team? This role would suit someone who's keen to work across all areas of the organisation, championing brand guidelines and managing and delivering a wide range of creative projects under the ShelterBox brand.
You must be able to edit video and have a good knowledge graphic design and brand. It is a requirement of this role to have a working knowledge of Premier Pro, After Effects, Indesign and Illustrator, with experience across Adobe Creative Suite. You'll also be able to demonstrate great copywriting skills and have excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will have experience in practical photography and film.
You will need to be able to plan and lead a shoot and confidently pick up a camera and capture ShelterBox footage and interviews in the UK and in the countries where we work. This role will, at times, be required to deploy in both major disasters and pro-active content trips - gathering content themselves and supporting external freelancers.

Home-Start is a federated charity consisting of a central national office – Home-Start UK - and over 170 geographically dispersed local Home-Start organisations, all working together under the same identity.

About The Role
Home-Start UK is looking for an experienced Trusts & Foundations Officer to join the Trusts and Philanthropy Home-Start UK team. A highly motivated and results-focused fundraiser your role will be pivotal in helping raise funds for our work with parents and children across the UK.
Home-Start UK has a wide portfolio of grant funders, who support our work with grants and donations of around £2m each year. This income funds brilliant projects right across the Home-Start movement, from groups for army families, to volunteer perinatal mental health training, to large-scale initiatives to increase volunteer numbers. Our Trusts and Statutory Income team is central to the delivery and development of great support for families, and for ensuring Home-Start UK has the capacity it needs to deliver high quality services and support to our network. No two days here are the same, and we work closely with colleagues right across the organisation.
We are looking for someone who is organised and details-oriented, with a love of writing and who can build strong relationships with funders and colleagues. As the Trusts & Foundations Officer you will manage key funder relationships, submit compelling applications, develop end-of-grant reports and gather inspiring real-life stories from our network of Home-Start charities.
You will be part of the Trusts & Philanthropy team and be managed by our Trusts and Foundations manager who is keen to support your development in this role.

Fundraising Support Assistant
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, i.e. five days (35 hours) per week. Job-share also considered.
Based: Based at head office in Aylesbury, Bucks with some potential for hybrid working
Salary: £23,500 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours)
About the Role
We are looking for someone to join our Fundraising Team to deliver our supporter care programme and be the first port of call for all enquiries and donations. Applicants will be warm and engaging and committed to developing relationships with the Charity’s supporters, most of whom have been directly affected by lymphoma.
You will have a strong eye for detail as well as excellent writing ability to convey sensitively the impact of donations in thank you letters. This is the perfect role for someone who has:
- Experience of working in an administrative or customer service role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks
- Excellent IT and digital skills and the willingness to use different online platforms, software and databases

- Whilst this is an office-based role and proximity to Aylesbury is essential, there will be some opportunity for hybrid working.
