The Events & Fundraising Manager will work at the heart of our public events programme, helping to organise fundraising walks and other events across London and the South East, and raising funds to support the provision of free legal advice. Our events include the London Legal Walk -- an annual event which raises over £1 million each year -- regional Legal Walk events, and other fundraising events such as the Great Legal Quiz and the Great Legal Bake. LLST also purchases places for third party events such as the London Marathon, Brighton Marathon, and Big Half. We also raise money through individual and corporate donations.
The Events & Fundraising Manager's principal role is to manage these events and promote our fundraising in support of free legal advice charities in London and the South East. Your main duties and responsibilities will include the following:

- Marketing and communications
We are looking for a candidate with demonstratable and relevant experience working at a senior level in mass participation and third-party challenge events. PLEASE NOTE:

The Role
We are seeking a proactive, strategic Industry Relations Manager to coordinate our work across pharmaceutical and other commercial partnerships. Key Responsibilities

About the role
This role plays an integral part in helping manage and develop the outputs of the External Affairs team, while advising on FSRH strategic issues. As the Senior Manager and Deputy to the Director in the team, you will manage the team’s External Affairs Officer, and drive delivery of the ambitions contained in FSRH’s Hatfield Vision. As Manager to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare you will work directly with leading Parliamentarians and partners to manage and deliver the APPG’s annual programme of work and meetings.

1. The Role
The Head of Audiences is a new leadership role in the Commercial Operations team designed to ensure that audience insight and segmentation are at the heart of everything we do. This role will lead on understanding who our current and prospective audiences are, how they engage with us and what they need now and in the future. Special Circumstances

The Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance (the Alliance) is a group of organisations (Local government, A2 Dominion, Aspire, Connection Support, Elmore, Homeless Oxfordshire and St Mungo’s) that came together in 2022 to deliver single homelessness services across the county under one contract.
Services delivered by the Alliance include the city and county outreach services for people experiencing rough sleeping, supported accommodation such as the hostel O’Hanlon House, shared dispersed supported accommodation, and homelessness prevention services.
The Alliance is commissioned through a pooled annual budget of c£3.8m which all District Councils in Oxfordshire, the City Council, the County Council, and the Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire Integrated Care Services, contribute towards. Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City are the lead commissioners of the Alliance.
As part of the initiative, the Alliance will deliver an ambitious housing led change programme which is seeing services remodelled to support and enable people to live in their own homes and fulfil their aspirations.
This role is hosted by Connection Support which is part of the Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance. The role will be guided by the work plan of both the alliance chair and the alliance commissioners.
The impact you will have
As the Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in making the alliance and the services it delivers a success. You will provide strategic and operational oversight and day to day leadership and management.

Crossness Pumping Station is a unique, world heritage site built in 1865 to help rid London of cholera. Lying abandoned since the 1950s, it has been lovingly restored by a group of enthusiasts and volunteers since 1987. We are moving into the next phase of our development as a museum and need to improve our support to existing volunteers and recruitment of new ones. This role will be fundamental to achieving our strategic goals and future business plan.
About the role
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the recruitment, induction, training and support of volunteers for Crossness Engines Trust.
This role will ensure that volunteers are effectively integrated into the organisation and feel valued, motivated and equipped to contribute to its mission. The Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with Trustees and Visitor Development and Outreach Officer and Education Officer to develop a robust volunteer programme that supports both organisational objectives and the personal growth of the volunteers.
The Volunteer Coordinator will build strong relationships, coordinate scheduling and ensure volunteers are integrated across visitor services, events, heritage maintenance, education and administration.
This is a new role and will allow an experienced volunteer coordinator the opportunity to set up many of the essential parts of the role from scratch. Much of the role will include face-to-face interaction with our volunteers (including occasional weekend working) with some elements that can be performed offsite eg developing plans and procedures, representing the Trust at exhibitions, fairs etc.

Person Specification
Essential
- Experience managing or coordinating volunteers or community engagement
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and support people from all walks of life
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks with limited time
- Ability to manage complex issues across multiple stakeholders to satisfactory resolutions
- Confident working independently and collaboratively
- Strong commitment to inclusion, diversity, and the values of volunteering.
Desirable
- Experience in a museum, heritage or non-profit setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding and volunteer management best practices
- Experience with databases/CRM and/or volunteer management software
- Interest in engineering history, architecture or heritage.
