About this exciting opportunity

As Grants and Bids Manager, you will manage statutory funding applications of five, six and seven figure multi-year income compliant with commissioner/funder requirements and oversee the project management of applications – managing timelines, activities, delegating tasks and ensuring stakeholders meet them, support decision-making through providing relevant and informed advice and producing high quality funding proposals and applications.

We will also rely on you to plan and chair proposal development meetings with key internal stakeholders, to identify and successfully bring in new funding opportunities that align with our strategic objectives, and to provide the highest level of donor care and manage involvement of new funders to ensure that the giving potential of each individual funding body is maximised. Updating the Fundraising Management Team with strategic developments in funding opportunities and supporting the Statutory Fundraising Team with other tasks, including their funding applications and proposals, are also vital elements of the role.

How you will make a difference

As Business Development and Engagement Manager within the Workplace Mental Health & Training team, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, partnerships, and engagement from corporate and community settings for both Mental Health UK and Rethink Mental Illness. You will work to secure funding from a wide range of sources, including commercial activity, public sector contracts and grant funding, to allow our work to continue and grow.

Working in our National Programmes team, you will ensure that we evaluate, plan for and respond effectively to bids and tenders, lead on the development of proposals, and support service delivery teams in implementing successful tenders/proposals. You will manage a Senior Business Development Officer who supports our work in positioning the organisation to respond to new bids and tenders and, where required, support the implementation of new services.

National Eczema Society is the UK charity dedicated to making life better for people with eczema and their families. As a relatively small and agile organisation, they punch above their weight and have big ambitions.

As Research Engagement Lead you will lead on medical research and patient research engagement for the Society.

This is a new role at National Eczema Society and demonstrates the charity's commitment to growing their support for eczema research. There is considerable scope for the postholder to shape the way the Society supports eczema research in the future. They have an ambitious strategy, including establishing a research grant programme and creating an 'Experts by Experience' patient panel to ensure research engagement drives the change people with eczema want most. The postholder provides the principal channel of communication and advice between the charity and the eczema research community.

The successful candidate will have experience of research grant administration and a background working with patients and supporting the involvement of patients and carers in research. You must be confident communicating complex science to a broad spectrum of people (ranging from researchers to the general public), be able to plan, budget and monitor grant award expenditure and be comfortable taking decisions and responsibility.

We're currently hiring for the role of Data and Interventions Manager. This will sit within the newly formed Development Team, which will lead on fundraising and supporter relations, and help ensure excellent use of data across the organisation.

This is an exciting time to join the team, and to have significant impact across the breadth of CARE’s work. As Data and Interventions Manager you will be responsible for the provision of data and user support for all fundraising activities by ensuring that the data on the database is useable, consistent and accurate.

The successful candidate will play a vital part in making sure CARE’s data and database are managed effectively and run smoothly, including managing the development and improvement of our CRM where necessary. The position is full time and based in our London office.

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday with additional monthly on-call duties. In return, you will receive a salary of £30,759 per annum, be enrolled into our staff health and wellbeing plan, and become part of our Nehemiah culture that is supportive, honest and incredibly rewarding.

What we are looking for

• Someone who is skilled in delivering a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to their work
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Provable experience of working with men recovering from addiction.
• Experience in facilitating groups that focus on behavioural change, addiction and other recovery-related activities.
• Excellent communication skills and an understanding of Customer Relationship Management systems (such as Salesforce).

• A 35 hour working week Mon-Fri, with an additional monthly paid on-call requirement.
