Trust and Foundation income is a cornerstone of Acorns’ fundraising strategy. We’re looking for an experienced Trusts fundraiser to provide maternity cover and hit the ground running. You’ll take on a robust pipeline and inherit relationships from a portfolio that includes multi-year partnerships with major funders such as Children in Need and John Martins.
Working closely with a highly experienced and supportive peer, you’ll enjoy a shared, balanced portfolio and the space to focus on great fundraising. With a responsive Data team, access to strong stories, and excellent internal buy-in, this is a rare chance to build on solid foundations and deliver high-impact work. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in writing successful 5- and 6-figure bids, excellent storytelling skills, and confidence in translating data into compelling narratives.
As Fundraising Manager – Trusts and Foundations, you will:
- Take on a well-established portfolio of trusts and foundations with a combined value of c.£850K, delivering a mix of templated and bespoke applications
- Collaborate closely with a peer Trusts Manager, sharing responsibility for monthly submissions and stewardship
- Maintain and build relationships with existing funders, ensuring excellent reporting and donor care
- Work cross-functionally with the Data, Marcomms, Finance, and Care teams to develop strong cases for support
- Support joint cultivation and engagement events alongside the Philanthropy team
Ideal skills and experience:

CHIRP is seeking a dynamic and talented individual to support the maritime and aviation programme teams with administrative and technical functions. The role combines general administrative duties with data collection, analysis and presentation. Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support to the programme teams. This includes:

Established in 1982, CHIRP has been a long-standing presence in both Aviation and Maritime safety spheres. More recently, CHIRP has aspired to capture the synergies between the two programmes. Role Purpose
Responsible for documenting and maintaining up-to-date fundraising income processes, ensuring the accurate and efficient integration of donation data from multiple platforms into the organisation’s CRM (Salesforce). The Role
Reporting to the Head of Cancer Insight, as our Data and Impact Manager, you will be responsible for continually developing the charity’s knowledge of the Yorkshire cancer landscape by ensuring external data sources are regularly reviewed and interpreted, you will also apply insight and evidence to support activity across the charity, including identifying areas of greatest need, responding to data and information requests and supporting external communications.
Additionally, you will evaluate the impact of prospective and funded Research and Service Awards, conducting reviews of applications for funding to assess potential impact and providing advice and consultation on evaluations. The role holder will also collect and report data on the impact of funded Awards through an annual Impact Report, including creating and updating models to estimate Life Years Gained and the long-term impact of funded work.
Specifically, you will:
Data and Information
· Ensure a portfolio of data and evidence are maintained, analysed and interpreted on a regular basis and presented through reports, presentations and other materials to communicate key messages to internal and external stakeholders.
· Handle internal data requests, these will largely be to inform the work of the Research & Policy and Impact, and Brand & Relationships teams, and could include data and information for press releases, social media and presentations.
· Lead on external data and information requests, liaising with external stakeholders and producing insightful reports which show the charity’s expertise in cancer data and Yorkshire’s cancer landscape.
· Provide data and information to support the strategic planning of future work and priority areas.
Impact and evaluation
· Lead the pre-award impact assessment of proposals submitted to the charity, ensuring targets are accurate and acceptable. Sharing findings with internal and external stakeholders where appropriate.
· Contribute to the impact assessment of funded awards throughout their lifetime and beyond as required, capturing data annually.
· Conduct direct evaluation reviews of funded Services Awards on behalf of and in collaboration with internal and external teams and directly advising and consulting Award Holders on requirements for evaluation.
· Lead on the production of an annual Impact Report, gathering input from Award Holders and the wider Research and Services teams, summarising the activity of funded Awards, and estimating the collective long-term impact of all funded Awards using impact models.

This role will be responsible for the planning, preparation and deployment of YAA’s new fundraising CRM and its associated business processes. You will work collaboratively with YAA’s internal project stakeholders, an implementing partner, the system vendor and play a key role in establishing an agile approach to project delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Project Management accountability for the YAA CRM Project, ensuring successful, on-time and on-budget delivery
- Establish and manage a realistic and committed plan for the project, taking into consideration business deadlines, dependencies, resources, and costs, monitoring work plan activities and support team members in delivering their project elements
- Work successfully with the implementation partner, vendors and any 3rd party systems to deliver the CRM solution to a go-live point and then project sign-off
- Vendor management, including the critical assessment of their proposed timelines, agreeing work sprints, and escalate issues where appropriate

- Previous experience of delivering a fundraising CRM database implementation project, including data cleansing and migrations, ideally in a third sector environment

The team and role overview
The HR & Operations function is led by the HR & Operations Manager and includes two Coordinators and one Operations Officer. About the role

Background
Congenital Heart Disease affects 1 in 125 newborn babies, it is the most common condition at birth. Around 17,000 babies, children and adults are treated by the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit (LCHU) every year. The LCHU is the specialist heart centre for all of Yorkshire, The Humber, North East Lincolnshire and North Derbyshire.
Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF) provide tailored emotional, financial and practical support and essential resources to heart patients and their families. When families need us most, CHSF provide parent accommodation close to the hospital and a dedicated family support service during a child’s treatment. CHSF also provide vital medical equipment and resources to the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit and 19 regional clinics, including start-up NHS staff roles and specialist training across the network.

Job Summary
As Fundraising Researcher you'll be responsible for proactively researching potential funders including corporate foundations and community funds, charitable trusts and other organisations to support our ambitious fundraising team.
