We’re seeking an experienced fundraising professional to help us scale that impact. You’ll lead on trusts and foundations, sharpening our income pipeline and crafting evidence-based bids that fund school programmes, sport partnerships and community-facing initiatives across the UK.

This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for a self-starter who can quickly translate social impact into compelling, data-driven proposals. You’ll work directly with the CEO, shaping the systems, materials and insight base that will underpin our next growth phase.

Summary

You will plan, create and coordinate clear, relevant communications that drive engagement with the new package of support for clergy around financial wellbeing. This will include supporting engagement with clergy and diocesan partners, and encouraging take up of events, tools and products. You will be responsible for creating/maintain great online content, promoting planned events, producing accessible written materials, and designing relevant and targeted communication campaigns working as part of an integrated team with other Pensions Board functions. This role will involve building and managing relationships with diocesan communications teams, other Communication specialists within the National Church, and external suppliers to deliver timely, consistent and measurable communications across digital and offline channels.

Content Management and Editorial Standards

• Curate, design, maintain and update the content of our new financial wellbeing portal.
• Devising and delivering creative ideas for digital, audience-focused content e.g. event videos, case studies etc - incorporating recording, editing, audio content etc - to support newsletters, emails and portal development.
• Work within and continue to evolve our tone of voice guidelines, to ensure our communications are in plain English, accessibly and relevant to our audiences.
• Curate resource packs and how-to guides
• Uphold editorial standards, quality control, version control, and approval workflows

Planning and Delivery

• Work as part of a wider Pensions Board network focused on integrated communications planning.
• Working with senior leaders, to design and execute targeted and long-term communications campaigns to deliver strategic goals.
• Coordinate our email and newsletter activity, working with other teams to get consistency of message across other channels (e.g. through social media or into Church/diocesan networks).

Support product pilots, service launches, and local events.

Materials Production and Supplier Oversight

• Draft written materials: emails, guides, briefs, articles
• Commission and manage supplier-produced collateral
• Oversee procurement, supplier relationships, and template libraries

Stakeholder Engagement and Event Support

• Collaborate with Pensions and Housing colleagues to help align messaging to different customer groups.
• Support senior leaders with internal team updates.
• Act as the main communications contact for the service, working with diocesan communication teams, the NCI comms team, and existing/potential service partners.
• Collaborate with our Events Coordinator on promotional and post-event materials

Insight, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement

• Use data to segment audiences, test messaging, and measure impact
• Monitor performance metrics and report on campaign outcomes
• Ensure adherence to data protection regulations in our communication approach.
• Support the Board's Safeguarding policy and procedures
• Embed best practices: editorial calendars, A/B testing, and single-source content governance

• A salary of £48,557 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

Homelessness Outreach Support Worker

We are seeking someone who can build trust, support people facing homelessness and help them move away from rough sleeping.

Position: Rough Sleeper Navigator (internal title)

Salary: £27,054 per annum

About the Role

This is a hands-on, practical role supporting people who are rough sleeping and living with complex needs. You will work directly with individuals on the street, in the community and across local services, providing tailored one to one support to help them access housing, healthcare, treatment and wider support.

Key responsibilities include:

· Delivering early morning and late evening outreach based on local intelligence and Streetlink alerts

· Acting as a consistent point of contact for people using the service, ensuring they can access the right help at the right time

· Providing a person centred, trauma informed approach to each individual’s support plan

· Supporting people with practical day to day needs including health, benefits, community activities, budgeting and maintaining accommodation

· Helping people address challenges around alcohol or drug use in group or one to one settings

· Keeping clear and accurate records, case notes and reports

· Working with partner agencies including housing, health, voluntary and community services

· Taking part in service development and team meetings

About You

You’ll be someone who genuinely wants to help people change their lives and you’ll be resilient, calm under pressure and comfortable working with individuals who have multiple needs.

You will need:

· Experience of supporting or motivating people with complex backgrounds

· Understanding of housing, homelessness or related support services

· Strong communication and conflict management skills

· Ability to build trust and positive relationships with a wide range of partners

· A recovery focused, person centred approach

· Willingness to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends as part of a rota

It would be helpful if you have an NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field or experience in homelessness, housing, substance misuse or community outreach, but this is not essential. A driving licence or language skills are also desirable.

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that strengthens the capacity of the Global South to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that the Global South should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions. The initiative has been working in different forms for over a decade, and our work receives worldwide coverage and widespread acclaim. 

This is a unique opportunity to inform conversations on SRM in Africa. Rather than lobbying for outcomes, Degrees aims to support informed, independent policymaking by fostering connections between researchers and policymakers and strengthening institutional expertise. Responsibilities

The Policy and Engagement Manager, Africa will strengthen the voice of the Global South in discussions and potential negotiations on SRM research and governance with relevance to Africa by connecting experts to policy processes. Accordingly, the successful candidate will: 

• Identify and engage key policy actors (e.g. national delegates and legislators, scientific advisors, intergovernmental officials) in Africa, connecting them to local SRM experts and providing them with information, where appropriate, while remaining neutral regarding the potential use and governance of SRM;
• Work with SRM researchers from the region to support the ongoing development of a coordinated community of experts; 
• Build informal and formal partnerships with like-minded organisations, helping to inform discussions and counter misinformation about climate and SRM.
• Share expertise and experience gained from Africa with staff and researchers and participate, as appropriate, in activities in Asia and the Pacific and Latin America and the Caribbean to gain similar expertise;
• Identify the most impactful international forums and regional SRM discussions, and work to connect local experts into these;

Summary

EduSpots is an innovative, dynamic, and community-orientated UK and Ghanaian registered charity which connects, trains, and equips grassroots voluntary educators (named ‘Catalysts’) to drive community-led change through education spaces named ‘Spots’. Our vision is of a world in which communities unite to create the futures they want to see, through education.

Since 2016, through collaborating with over 400 local voluntary community educators and actors – named ‘Catalysts’ – who take a central leadership role in the development of the network, we have supported 50 communities in creating and running community-led and owned education spaces named ‘Spots’’. Together, we are developing a model for a community-led education space with accompanying network engagement that could have global relevance. 

Our Ghana-based team creates collaborative learning opportunities through three leadership programmes for Catalysts which are increasingly facilitated by the EduSpots app: the Ignite, Catalyse and Inspire Mentoring Programmes. These enable the Catalysts to lead EduKidz (early years education), DigLit (digital literacy), EcoSTEM (STEM and environmental education) and Ignite Equity (gender equity) clubs for learners typically aged 3-16, alongside locally designed education projects, reaching over 10,000 learners of all ages annually. 

We are in an exciting period of our development, having more than doubled our income, programme breadth and reach in the last two years, with a recent independent evaluation by Expectation State offering further evidence in support of our model’s outcomes. We have been recently selected for two accelerator programmes, who are supporting us as we consider the scaling potential of our model. In the period, we are aiming to double our network reach, bringing an additional 50 Spots into the network.

About this role 

The Global Head of Operations is a new role being introduced in 2026 with the core purpose of strengthening systems, processes and strategic delivery across both EduSpots Global and EduSpots Ghana, offering hands-on support to the CEO and wider staff across a range of areas.

In this senior role, you will work closely alongside the CEO, offering her the advice and skills needed to move EduSpots successfully through a complex period of growth in a challenging fundraising context, enabling more learners and Catalysts to participate in a unique community-led model of education, whilst sharing our practice more widely.

We are looking for an organised and empathetic strategic leader, ideally with strong or developing skills across project management, finance, HR and MEL skills and an ability to work independently in a fast moving work environment.

This role has the potential to grow into a Director of Global Operations or Deputy CEO role in time for outstanding candidates, and carries significant organisation-wide responsibility.

Candidates should hold a genuine passion for educational equity, a strong belief in the power of community-led models to transform lives at scale and a high level of flexibility in a fast-changing yet friendly and playful work environment.

Whilst this role is remote, and open to all global candidates, you will need to have understanding and experience of UK law, accounting and policy development, or a strong appetite to build experience in this area quickly.

Main duties and responsibilities 

Systems

• Work with the CEO and staff to proactively strengthen systems and processes across the organisation, including monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks and operations. 
• Support the wider team with IT, including general skill development, leading the Google Space system. 
• Monitor compliance to organisational policies and lead the quarterly review of the organisational risk register, working with the Ghana Head of Operations. 

Finance 

• Work with the Finance and Admin Officer to produce monthly and quarterly global management accounts, cash flow analysis and to complete the annual audit. 
• Lead the financial planning of the organisation, working with the CEO and the Ghana Head of Operations to create the annual budget. 
• Work with the Ghana Head of Operations to strengthen financial systems, processes, and training across the organisation. 
• Work with the Ghana Head of Operations to prepare budgets for funding bids as needed.
• Work with the grants team to track grant spending and produce consolidated financial reports (including expenditure from the UK and Ghana) for donors. 
• Ensure EduSpots’ new accounting software (QuickBooks) is fully embedded and utilised.
• Oversee bank account management, including payments, checking bank statements, and reviewing bank reconciliations for UK and Ghana.
• Ensure staff payroll (likely to be outsourced) and payments to freelancers / consultants are done accurately and in a timely manner.

HR

• Work alongside the CEO, Head of Operations, Safeguarding and Inclusion Managers  and wider staff to develop strategies to sustain and strengthen a high performing and friendly work culture. 
• Work across the team to strengthen HR and performance management structures, informed by best practice and legal frameworks. 
• Lead the recruitment of staff, consultants and volunteers in the UK (advertising roles, drafting contracts, contacting referees and completing all filing and administration relating to recruitment).
• Onboard new staff, provide training on policies and procedures, and track key information (leave, appraisals, etc) for UK staff. 
• Regularly review and keep the Staff Handbook up to date.
• Depending on skill-set, work with the CEO to lead professional development for staff across the organisation, liaising with trustees and advisory group members.

Administration & Governance

• Manage and maintain databases and our Google Drive system.

Job Purpose

Within the National Influencing & Networks team, the Digital Communications Officer is responsible for delivering core communications functions. The postholder will work directly with the Director of National Influencing and Networks to plan communications activity in line with organisational objectives, and to deliver planned, regular and ad-hoc outputs. They will also work closely with the Area Engagement and Partnerships Team. It is desirable for the postholder to bring innovative video editing and production expertise, along with strong digital content creation skills, to enhance Clinks’ communications reach and impact.

Duties and key responsibilities

· Contribute to the continued development of communications outputs of relevance to the voluntary sector working in criminal justice

· Deliver Clinks’ communications functions to ensure our work and the voluntary sector is promoted in an accurate and timely manner.

· Contribute to Clinks’ communications outputs through oversight of the organisational communications planner, supporting the development of timelines and executing as appropriate

· Responsible for publication and design of organisational policy reports, e-bulletins, newsletters, blog posts, ad-hoc publications and other relevant digital outputs

· Responsible for the collation and distribution of Clinks’ Light Lunch on a weekly basis as well as newsflashes, women’s network updates and art alliance updates

We seek a Finance Manager to lead the day to day running of the charity’s finances including overseeing the work of our outsourced financial provider. As a grant giving organisation, there will be regular interaction with the programmatic workstreams in this position, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to increase the capacity of a field-leading charity, help empower researchers in the Global South, and contribute to one of the world’s most important climate debates. Working with the COO, you will undertake organisational financial planning, budgeting and forecasting so that the senior staff and trustees have comprehensive information for decision making. Responsibilities

As this is a new role, responsibilities are expected to evolve but some key items include:

• Financial Oversight: Overseeing the outsourced finance provider, ensuring service delivery meets organisational needs and deadlines. You will be the primary liaison between our financial services provider and the staff, ensuring that they make payments on behalf of the organisation, runs payroll, completes the bookkeeping via QuickBooks, the monthly management accounts, and the annual statutory accounts. 
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Preparing and monitoring annual organisational budgets including a mid-year adjustment, cash flow forecasts, financial models and annual accounts to support the annual business cycle and fundraising bids.
• Reporting: Finalising monthly management accounts prepared by outsourced financial provider, deliver financial reports for the COO, senior leadership, and trustees, and preparing donor financial reporting.
• Financial Strategy and Investment Oversight: Working with the COO to manage financial resources and reserves including developing the investment policy to support the long-term goals of the charity.
• Audit & Compliance: Leading on annual audits, maintain compliance with UK charity finance regulations, and ensure adherence to funder requirements.
• Programmatic financial support: Working closely with the programmes teams to ensure their payments processes run smoothly with the outsourced financial provider, and regularly reviewing their grant and event expenditure is in line with their own managed budgets.
