Key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare the monthly performance reports and related management information with appropriate commentaries.
• Produce monthly departmental reports, carry out variance analysis and investigate variances by working with budget holders.

• Experience of working for a small to medium sized organisation in a HR stand-alone role
• Experience of managing a wide range of employee relations (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement, dismissal, absence management), policy development and health & safety compliance
• Experience of managing staff recruitment, selection, onboarding and offboarding
• Experience of managing a cloud-based HR system, integrated with payroll, for the whole organisation

About the Role
 
Our client is looking for a creative and committed freelance Project Officer to help shape and deliver the next phase of their programme, designed to prepare care-experienced young people for their first tenancy and independent living.
 
The Project Officer will lead on developing and adapting engaging, practical content for both in-person workshops and digital learning formats. This includes producing new resources, co-producing elements with young people, managing delivery in two pilot settings, and supporting the programme’s evaluation and scale-up. We are looking for an experienced, confident and proactive fundraiser to join our income generation team to raise more grant income from charitable trusts and foundations primarily, along with corporates and other partners. These include local schools and community organisations. Maintaining great relationships with these and other supporters Is a key requirement of this role. A confident self-starter, you will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Role Purpose 

Working alongside our chief executive (who is an experienced fundraiser), an external larger bid writing resource and heads of programmes, the key objectives are to successfully generate income with grants valuing up to c.£10k in line with KLS fundraising plan and annual budget; develop and maintain relationships, and secure funding from, a portfolio of loyal and prospective supporters. Stewardship, reporting, pipeline and other database management tasks are other key features of the role. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Drafting and submitting funding bids up to c£10k grant value 

• Reporting to funders and supporting relationships with funders and partners

• Researching and identifying grant funding opportunities 

• Managing bid writing process, including gathering input from colleagues 

• Briefing programme colleagues on project monitoring required to produce funding reports, including case studies 

• Working with CEO to ensure monitoring takes place throughout project delivery and within reporting timelines for multiple projects and funders 

• Ensuring project reports are completed and submitted to funders on time 

• Maintaining administrative procedures effectively to support and monitor our fundraising activities. This includes keeping donor records and our database (Salesforce) up to date, ensuring income is recorded accurately and the pipeline is updated, mailing documents and thanking donors 

• Comply with Data Protection law (GDPR) and the Fundraising Regulator code of fundraising practice 

Skills and Experience 

• Track record of fundraising from trusts and foundations for project, core, and multiyear funding 

• Working with colleagues to complete funding bids and collect information for reporting requirements 

• Proven effective lead generation skills 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to plan and prioritise to meet deadlines 

• Excellent report writing for funders and proofreading skills 

• Proven effective CRM database use such as the ability to maintain accurate record and income forecasting 

• Donor stewardship experience

• Up-to-date knowledge of fundraising best practice and regulation, including GDPR

The ICPG was created in 2024 in response to the sharp rise in antisemitism in UK universities since 7th October 2023. We collaborate broadly with universities and Higher Education institutions, policymakers, lawyers and other stakeholders. Where appropriate, we engage with communal organisations.

We operate across the following areas: (1) Data Collection, (2) Standards and Interventions, (3) Free Speech and Academic Freedom, (4) Universities and College Union, and (5) Stakeholder Engagement. Each area has a "working group", which are at different stages of knowledge production. ICPG is looking to recruit an Operations Manager with responsibility for operational leadership, strategic planning and implementation and financial management of the organisation. Candidates should have an interest in challenging antisemitism within the university sector, but do not necessarily need to have previous experience in this area.

Salary: £50,000, dependent on experience

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee daily operations
• Work closely with the President and Board of Trustees to develop and execute the strategic and operational vision for the organisation

This Communications Officer role is available on a fixed term contract and part-time basis. The salary for this role is £35,000 FTE (pro-rata for 4 days a week). This role is also available on a remote basis.
 
You will report to the Director of Fundraising and look after the communications function of the charity. You will support with work on a rebrand, campaign management and continuous updating of the charity’s website. You will produce high quality content which includes, engaging articles, social media and website content, newsletters, flyers, booklets, and impact stories. You will also film and edit reels for social media channels.
 
You will play a key role supporting the Director of Fundraising in managing/promoting fundraising campaigns, initiatives and events. You will also support with day-to-day marketing duties such as reporting website stats, beneficiary feedback, press management and updating directories. 
 
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent copywriting skills and be able to write for a range of different audiences with impact. You will be digitally savvy and experience using WordPress and web analytics tools (e.g. GA4). You will have in brand management and understanding of SEO. You will have experience using design software (e.g. Canva/InDesign). You will have experience executing fundraising campaigns and publishing digital and print content. You will also have experience in working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
 
Desirably, you will have experience filming and editing reels for social media and basic understanding of HTML.

Operations Officer (Internal role names: Scheduler, Response Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator)
 

Time: 2.5 days per week (20 hours). Monday is an essential working day, the rest of the time can be worked flexibly within business hours.

Where: Remote - UK based. Two team days per year in London / South East or online.

As Scheduler, you’ll help allocate new client referrals to our team of practitioners and coordinate smooth handovers between team members. You’ll work closely with the Scheduling Lead and wider operations team to ensure efficiency and continuity of care.

In the Response Coordinator role, you'll manage all incoming enquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely responses and directing queries to the appropriate team member.

As Volunteer and Placement Coordinator, you’ll oversee the onboarding of volunteers and Music Therapy student placements, matching individuals to suitable settings, and handling DBS checks and references.

You’ll also contribute to ongoing improvements by sharing feedback and insights from your role to support the development of internal systems and processes.

Accountabilities

This role involves a range of duties that may vary week to week. Key responsibilities include:

• Responding promptly to general enquiries from individuals and organisations via phone and email

• Supporting the scheduling team with new referrals, service contracts, and opportunities, including liaising with Music Therapists and Community Musicians

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system (Salesforce or similar experience is desirable), including logging communications and key information

• Ensuring clear and consistent communication with clients, referrers, and partner organisations regarding referrals and enquiries

• Creating and managing service agreements using Jotform

• Assisting with assurance and compliance paperwork

• Transferring referral data and supporting team members in keeping client records current

• Coordinating student placements and volunteer onboarding, including DBS and reference checks and matching to appropriate settings

• Signposting individuals to relevant resources where appropriate

• Providing operational support to team members and directing queries to the appropriate colleague

Person specification

We are looking for a highly organised, efficient individual who can work independently and take initiative when needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy and sensitivity in all communications, with a warm and supportive telephone manner and the ability to write clear, compassionate email responses to clients and referrers.

Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach are essential, as this role involves close interaction with colleagues across the team. An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, music therapy and the experiences of our clients is important.

Confidence using digital tools and systems is essential, as the role involves working with a range of platforms to support service delivery and coordination.
