You will oversee and coordinate the management of a High Support Accommodation based service and Step-down Accommodation based service for men and women with Mental Health needs. Whilst ensuring the delivery of a consistent and high-quality service in accordance with the mission statement and strategic objectives of Hestia
and within the relevant legislative framework. You will effectively manage and implement the services operational policies.

You will bring experience of supporting people with mental ill health, dual diagnosis (mental health and substance misuse), complex needs, and homelessness. You will have proven experience of managing teams, including recruitment, induction, supervision, motivation, appraisal, training, performance management, and handling disciplinary or grievance issues. You will be confident in monitoring services to ensure consistently high standards of delivery and will have experience providing high-quality supported housing services, including maintaining health and safety compliance and promoting meaningful service user involvement. You will also bring experience of housing management, including maintenance, repairs, voids, rent collection, Housing Benefit processes, and arrears management, alongside the ability to manage services within budget. Strong IT skills are essential, including using computer-based systems to accurately record client information, produce reports, and audit staff use of recording systems. You will be proactive in improving service performance, able to write and interpret complex reports, and communicate clearly with excellent written and spoken English. As a collaborative team member and leader, you will value colleagues' ideas, motivate others toward shared goals, embrace positive change, and ensure that services remain focused on meeting the needs of service users.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service in South Tees.

Position: S11347 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based North East and Yorkshire Region, South Tees area. However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include, home visits, team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week

Salary: Circa £18,800 per annum (FTE circa £27,435 per annum)

Contract: Services are contracted and our client currently has funding for this contract until 31 March 2027

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to offer support to stroke survivors and their families; plan and deliver stroke support group sessions and ensure the smooth running of the service.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator’s key responsibilities will include:

• Working with stroke survivors and carers to identify their needs, providing person centred support which enables them to achieve their desired outcomes.
• Delivering an effective service in line with our case management principles ensuring that confidential and accurate records are kept on the CRM database.
• Supporting clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Working collaboratively with other professionals and organisations involved in the care of stroke survivors and carers to ensure the best possible support is provided throughout the stroke pathway.
• Planning and facilitating Stroke support group sessions to increase participants’ understanding of stroke and how to manage/ support their recovery.

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:

• Experience of providing person centred support.
• Experience of working with people with a disability or long-term health condition, and their carers.
• Experience of using technology and IT systems to support your work and keep timely, accurate records.
• Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.
• Experience of working with health and social care professionals in a variety of settings.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality including the delivery of face-to-face support in the form of stroke awareness sessions, home and hospital visits. Some time may also be spent working within a hospital team.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

• Manage monthly payroll activities – inputs, checks, reports, approvals and secure file transfers.
• Be the go-to person for first level payroll-related advice for managers and staff.
• Work closely with our outsourced payroll provider and HRIS provider to make sure everything runs smoothly.
• Keep up to date with payroll and pension legislation, spotting risks and recommending solutions.
• Process payments, cost of living uplifts and annual increments accurately.
• Liaise with third-party providers (pensions, life, childcare vouchers, union subscriptions, cycle to work and more).
• Audit payroll data and work with HR colleagues to resolve gaps.
• Respond to queries about pay, pensions and benefits with clarity and care
• You’ll also contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement work – because payroll isn’t just about processing, it’s about making things better.

You will have:

You will already have experience working in a payroll environment, giving first-level payroll advice and managing payroll processes.

Purpose of the job

You will lead and oversee end-to-end design processes, ensuring that UK Youth develops fully packaged offers that respond to the evidence base and people’s needs, drive forward our strategy and achieve incredible impact. You will be experienced in developing high quality funding propositions (proactively and in response to new business opportunities). You will be confident in taking a human-centred design approach to tackle some of the youth sector’s knottiest problems.  You will design solutions to important problems, ensuring that they are feasible, equitable, impactful and scalable.

In 2026, our priority topics for youth work programmes and network development are: mental health and wellbeing, employability, social cohesion and community safety.

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Service Manager at Lillie Road, Talgarth Road & Shepherds House.

The H&F Supported Accommodation Pathway consists of supported accommodation for 129 clients across seven sites, including 24-hour staffed complex needs hostels and semi-independent services.

The semi‑independent accommodation services in Hammersmith & Fulham provide safe, supportive housing for clients with low to medium support needs, across three separate sites, working with some of the most well‑known and vulnerable clients in the borough, using psychologically informed and trauma‑informed approaches to help people build stability, develop independence, and make meaningful progress in their lives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to step up, gain experience across multiple sites, and play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for clients. You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure that each service operates safely, smoothly and consistently, and that clients receive high‑quality, trauma‑informed support.
