About the role:

Join our Wandsworth accommodation service as a Day Concierge and be right at the centre of the day-to-day running of the building. This is hands-on, front-of-house work where you’ll be the first face people see and the steady presence that keeps things running smoothly. From managing access and responding to day-to-day issues, to working with colleagues, contractors and partner agencies, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, calm and well-run environment where people can begin to settle and move forward.

You’ll be working alongside people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage, building professional, respectful relationships while maintaining clear boundaries. It’s a role that blends practical problem-solving with people skills; no two days are the same, and your ability to stay organised, observant and approachable will make a real difference to how the service feels and functions.

At Single Homeless Project (SHP), this role is a strong starting point if you’re looking to build a career in the sector. You’ll gain exposure to frontline services, develop confidence in managing a busy environment and be supported to grow your skills and progress in a way that works for you.

The working rota for this role is 25 hours per week 8am - 4:45pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

About Working Well Trust

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

The Role

This role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of the IPS Qualification, ensuring that learners, managers and trainers are well supported and that learning programmes run smoothly and to a high standard. The role will also play a key part in supporting the wider workforce team at IPS Grow by providing administrative support across different areas of workforce activity.

Overview

Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) is a pioneering charity aiming to improve the health, wellbeing, educational attainment and employability skills of the local community.

CACT are seeking two enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced individuals to deliver a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Flexible Support Fund employability programme, focusing on 16–24-year-olds living in Greenwich and Bexley who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). In collaboration with the DWP, CACT Employability Officer/s will design and deliver a ‘Youth Hub’ offer to support and guide young people to into Education, Employment or Training opportunities.

Job Purpose

· To work as a member of the ‘DWP Youth Hub’ project team to engage and enable young people to reach their full potential with education, training and employment opportunities.

· The project will provide one-to-one mentoring sessions with wraparound support.

· The postholder will identify and recruit a caseload of young people to support into and sustain their engagement in Education, Employment and Training.

· The programme will provide an opportunity for young people not in education, training or employment in Greater London area to access training and work experience to enable them to attain the skills and confidence to gain employment.

· The post holder will have a broad range of experience in building relationships with individuals from a range of backgrounds, alongside an ability to build and maintain relationships with employers.

· The post holder will co-ordinate and deliver one to one and group coaching sessions. Sessions will address essential skills for employment and provide practical support, interview coaching, careers information and guidance.

· The post holder will facilitate and / or signpost to wellbeing workshops and physical activity sessions to develop improved mindset, healthy lifestyles, mental health and self‐care. Working with multi-agency partners the post holder will seek to identify the barriers that have prevented young people from engaging in education and employment and help them to develop strategies to overcome these challenges

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

· To provide one to one and group employability coaching sessions; in the community and online, enabling participants to identify, assess, and address barriers to engaging with education, employment, and training, as well as sourcing the most appropriate support.

· Work with young people to understand their strengths and develop person centred, targeted plans to help them achieve positive outcomes. Create individualised progress plans, which include identification of the wraparound support that needs to be provided (e.g., support to access housing or mental health services).

· Work closely with community groups and agencies such as Skills Academies Hubs, Local Integration Hubs, Job Centre Plus, to identify and recruit young people that would benefit most from the programme.

· Support a caseload and develop, contribute to, and deliver interventions to engage young people in education training and employment.

· To develop relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that a suitably diverse life skills and employability offer that meets young people’s needs and abilities.

· To work with local key worker support service to address any barriers to inclusion for young people they are working with.

· As required contribute to multi-agency planning and assessments of young people

· To identify meaningful work placement opportunities for young people internally and externally through partnerships with local businesses, and to manage and support work placements through work placement visits

· To maintain oversight of young people participating in work placements to help them settle in, meet the expectations of their employer or training / education provider, perform at their best, and achieve their action plan goals.

· Regularly review and monitor the progress of young people on the programme and guide interventions / wraparound support.

· Maintain a record of distance travelled which demonstrates how far the participant has travelled since joining the project, for example, in terms of personal development, increased confidence, and greater levels of motivation.

· To maintain a working knowledge of education, safeguarding and effective practice in supporting young people into education, training and employment.

· To hold knowledge of the regions in which we work to maintain an up to date working knowledge of education and training providers and employers locally and ensure that young people are referred and supported into appropriate EET provision.

· Compile and submit all required monitoring to colleagues and the DWP on progress of those young people they are working with. Maintain full and accurate case records within appropriate timescales using the case management system.

· Attend training events, supervision meetings and other team, formal and informal meetings as required to contribute to professional, service and self-development.

· Support young person feedback mechanisms in the design of activities and in the continuous improvement of the project.

· To ensure good quality case studies and stories are shared with colleagues to support the promotion of the programmes.

· Fulfil other duties such as are required from time to time.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Head of Fundraising  to play a significant role in the growth of Bags of Taste. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual who is keen to make a tangible difference. The issues of health and well-being across the population and food insecurity are urgent and our work directly addresses these critical issues. 

You’ll be responsible for fundraising and delivering a plan to raise funds from a variety of sources - including trusts and foundations, digital fundraising and individual giving. You’ll work with our corporate and community fundraiser to raise income through corporate partnerships and community fundraising. We expect that trusts and foundations funding will form a large part of this role and this includes securing larger and multi year grants.

Events Fundraising Officer (Maternity cover)

Salary: £40,013 for Cardiff, Edinburgh, Warrington per year. £44,945 for London per year (including London allowance)

About the role

Reporting in to the National Events Manager, the Events Fundraising Officer will recruit and engage supporters, building trust and collaboration to strengthen Christian Aid’s event and DIY fundraising activity and maximise participation in challenge events. Supporting the planning and delivery of impactful fundraising and stewardship initiatives, while working flexibly to contribute to wider team priorities and key fundraising moments.

The post-holder will develop meaningful communications with Christian Aid’s supporters, churches, and volunteers to maximise engagement and create consistent, high-quality experiences.

Some of the main areas of responsibility for the Events Fundraising Officer include:

• Manage and develop the challenge events portfolio, including key events such as the London Marathon and Great North Run, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support the National Events Manager in planning and delivering Christian Aid’s owned event portfolio, contributing to successful delivery against agreed timelines and budgets.
• Develop and deliver tailored plans for event volunteer recruitment, recognition, and retention, fostering meaningful engagement and a positive volunteer experience.
• Take lead in growing DIY church fundraising, contributing to the acquisition of new supporters, deeper engagement with churches, and increased impact.
• Respond to enquiries relating to challenge events, DIY fundraising, and event volunteering, providing clear, timely, and solution-focused advice to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the growth of Christian Aid’s movement-building presence within church communities, supporting stronger connections and increased supporter engagement.
• Work in a collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-focused way, with a commitment to continuous improvement, high-quality delivery, and the flexibility to respond to evolving team priorities.
• Work flexibly and collaboratively across the Community Fundraising & Volunteering team, supporting the acquisition of new supporters, maximising income, and delivering campaign activity through effective fundraising appeals, resources, and stewardship.

About you

Who we are looking for

Essential:

• Demonstrable experience of delivering challenge events and/or other community fundraising events.
• Demonstrable experience of using supporter or customer databases and other data sources to drive decision making.
• Developed understanding of working with volunteers, including sector best practice.
• The ability to work within a project management structure and manage complex projects and workplans.
• Ability to work collaboratively with external suppliers and a wide range of internal stakeholders.
• Ability to write persuasive materials for religious and secular audiences, and ability to assess creative work and edit copy.

Desirable:

• Demonstrable experience of working with church audiences.
• Knowledge of global development issues and Christian Aid’s work.
• Experience creating supporter and volunteer digital and/or print resources.
• ​Relevant experience of direct and digital marketing in the voluntary or commercial sector.

This full remote role will work with the Head of Communications, leading, planning, and delivering communications activity that supports services and strategic objectives.

You'll oversee a wide range of communications initiatives, including media relations, marketing campaigns, brand development, internal communications, events and stakeholder engagement.
