About The Role

This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role at the heart of Place2Be, helping shape welcoming, safe and well‑run space. You’ll oversee our Head Office, training centres and other workspaces, leading reception and front‑of‑house services so everyone who walks through our doors feels supported and valued. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Reception function, ensuring a warm, professional and well‑informed first point of contact for staff, visitors, funders, volunteers and contractors, with safe cover across a 7‑day training operation.
• Oversee office administration, including ordering goods and services, travel and hotel bookings, and meeting room coordination to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Manage facilities and workspaces across Place2Be, ensuring they support wellbeing, sustainability and compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.
• Lead on Health & Safety as the Responsible Person, including inductions, policy ownership, incident investigation, audits, training, DSE assessments and chairing quarterly H&S meetings.
• Own supplier, contract and budget management, ensuring value for money, effective procurement and continuous improvement across cleaning, security, maintenance and services.
• Support and lead key projects, including the people‑focused aspects of an upcoming office move, working closely with the CFO to deliver a smooth, well‑communicated transition.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience managing office operations, reception/front‑of‑house, facilities and Health & Safety in a busy workspace.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety (ideally as a Responsible Person), facilities compliance, risk management and best practice.
• Experience of procurement, contract and supplier management, budget oversight and delivering value for money.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support teams, manage external stakeholders and deliver a consistently welcoming, professional service.
• Strong project and change‑management skills, with experience supporting office moves, refurbishments or workspace improvement.
• A hands‑on, creative and strategic team player with a positive, flexible and solution‑focused approach.

The team supports the work of the Crown Nominations Commission (CNC) on the nomination of Archbishops and Diocesan Bishops, those involved in nominating Suffragan Bishops and the selection panels who nominate new cathedral Deans, as well as any other appointments involving the Archbishops. The team supports senior clergy in their vocation and discernment, working to develop and equip a diverse pipeline of candidates for senior ministry roles. The team also works in partnership with others to ensure that senior clergy are equipped for leadership in the Church and the vital role it plays in the life of the nation.

About Bipolar UK

Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by bipolar — including individuals, carers, families and loved ones. Over one million people in the UK live with bipolar disorder, yet many experience symptoms for years before receiving an accurate diagnosis.

 Purpose:  The Peer Support Officer role will work within Bipolar UK’s Peer Support Line team to support our community through telephone and email support across the UK.

The role involves using your skills and knowledge to support people affected by bipolar disorder with support requests and providing information and signposting to people via email and telephone. The successful applicant will also manage service reports in Salesforce, report back regularly to the management team, as well as developing links with other mental health services or appropriate agencies.

Though Bipolar UK does not offer Crisis Support, the successful applicant may have to direct members of our community experiencing a crisis to relevant services and will also be responsible for recognising and reporting Safeguarding incidents within the bounds of Bipolar UK’s Safeguarding Policies.

The position requires good personal interaction and the ability to empathise with service users while remaining calm and considered in sometimes difficult situations.  This is a varied and hands on role and we are looking for someone with good communication (verbal and written) along with good organisational skills. Bipolar UK will offer the successful applicant regular support and engagement with the team, as well as reflective practice sessions throughout their service with the charity.

The Peer Support Officer reports to the Services Manager who manages this service. This will be a home-based role with occasional travel, such as team days/meetings/training.

The successful postholders will liaise with the year 1 tutor, clinical and research tutors, service supervisors and intensive case supervisors. We are looking for ACP registered Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists with current CAMHS experience, who have an active interest in working with our year tutor and staff group to support trainees’ progress. About the role

You will join a team managing Galop’s specialist advocacy services, providing support to LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK, with a specialist focus on hate crime and hate-motivated abuse. You will have an in depth understanding of the spectrum of violence and abuse that LGBT+ people are subjected to, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will use your expertise to represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the community. 

You will also have management and oversight of the CATCH Partnership, a pan-London consortium of by-and-for hate crime support services, that cover all protected strands of hate crime across race, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation and transgender status. You will need to have excellent partner management skills and be able to lead and support a diverse range of organisations with an understanding of their specific needs and challenges. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that data collected about the service is collected consistently and use this to report to funders. You will develop and maintain relationships with funders and ensuring that the service is effectively demonstrating the different that it makes. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and Director of Services to develop bids for new or continued funding for frontline services.

• Act as key contact for Housing Benefit teams, representing Look Ahead in rent and service discussion for 2026-27.

Collaboration and Internal Coordination

• Working closely with finance colleagues to align service charges budgets with proposed schedules for 2026-27.

Compliance, Reporting and Improvement

• Ensure full compliance with DWP guidance (including circulars A4/2014 and A1/2023), HB regulations, and Regulator of Social Housing requirements.
