About the role 

The Network Engagement Officer supports The Tomorrow’s Engineers Code (or The Code, as we often call it) community. The Code community is a network of 400+ organisations committed to inspiring more young people into engineering and technology careers through STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) outreach. 
 

The Code brings together organisations of all types and sizes to share ideas, learn from each other, and collaborate to collectively improve the impact of our STEM outreach. We do this by providing them with practical resources, events, regular communications and a supportive LinkedIn group.

The Network Engagement Officer works with the Senior Code Manager to grow, engage and support Code community members (we call them Signatories). The Network Engagement Officer is responsible for growing the community through recruiting and onboarding new members and ensuring high levels of engagement across the diversity of the community through writing and scheduling regular communications to them via email and LinkedIn and delivering an engaging content series to help them collectively improve their outreach, as well as tracking their participation across activity. 
 

The role is London based at our office at 10 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6EN and will involve frequent / may involve some travel in the UK (amend as required).We believe that hybrid working has many benefits and are pleased to offer flexible working with a minimum of 40% in the office and the option for a flexible start and end to the working day in our vibrant central London office overlooking the Thames. JOB FUNCTION: To lead the day-to-day delivery and development of the Foundation’s grant-making and charitable partnerships portfolio, acting as the primary relationship owner for grantees and community partners. The role will ensure high-quality stewardship, governance, impact reporting and continuous improvement across existing grants, while also playing a key role in the design, development and implementation of new grant programmes and funding pots aligned to the Foundation’s strategic priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Grant-making & Portfolio Leadership

• Lead the day-to-day management of the Foundation’s grants portfolio, acting as the main point of contact for funded organisations.
• Manage the end-to-end grants lifecycle, including: Application design and management; Due diligence and assessment; Coordination of grant panels and decision-making processes; Grant confirmation, contracting and onboarding; Delivery oversight, monitoring and evaluation

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Foundation’s grants and charitable partnerships strategy, bringing insight from frontline delivery and partner relationships.
• Work collaboratively with other functions in the Grants and Charitable Partnerships department (e.g. volunteering) to ensure a joined-up approach.
• Work collaboratively across the Foundation and wider Club (e.g. Programmes, Comms, Operations) to ensure grant-making complements and strengthens wider activity.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trust & Statutory Fundraising Manager to join the existing Development team.  Reporting to the Head of Development.

We are at an exciting time in our history, and this is a chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of our multi million-pound masterplan and engagement programmes. We are looking for a reliable and proactive leader with senior leadership experience and strong partnership development skills. The Development Manager plays a central part in enabling the Royal Court Theatre’s Development team to reach and grow ambitious fundraising targets for the charity’s mission.

• Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience

Key responsibilities of the role include: 

1. Identifying and securing new business development opportunities in the corporate, trust and foundations sectors that align with our mission and objectives. 

2. Developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospects for new business opportunities, targeting five-figure level and above partnerships to deliver high-value, long-term partnerships and achieve financial targets and KPIs. 

3. Supporting creation and submission of funding applications to corporates, statutory bodies, trusts and foundations. 

4. Management and growth of Inspire's entry to mid-level corporate partnerships. 

5. Collaborate with colleagues to scale up existing, funded programmes and develop creative, dynamic and winning proposals. 

6. Supporting marketing and communications to promote Inspire and its programmes including development of marketing and social media materials.

About Spear

We launched the award-winning Spear Programme over 20 years ago, and there are now 18 Spear Centres across the country, equipping unemployed 16–24-year-olds facing barriers to employment with the skills and mindset they need to secure work and thrive in the workplace.

Spear operates a joint venture model with churches across the UK to run our Spear Centres. Some Centres operate in collaboration with independent charitable trusts, while others are run directly with the local church (both referred to below as ‘Spear Church Partners’ or ‘Church Partners’) As a result, the Spear Partner Fundraising Manager role requires raising funds for both churches and charitable trusts.

About the role

Spear is in an exciting time of growth, as we expand our work nationwide. You will play a pivotal role in equipping new and existing Church Partners to build sustainable, thriving Spear Centres that transform young people’s lives.
