Corporate Partnerships Lead - 0.6 FTE

Contract : 

• 12 months fixed term; 

• 0.6 / 22.2 hours per week; 

• Remote, home-based but with requirement to travel to in-person meetings when required.

Purpose of the Role: 

Voice 21 is a rapidly growing national education charity, with a bold new strategy to 2030, and ambitious plans to double fundraised income over this strategic period. We believe there is significant potential for the corporate sector to engage with our work and support our mission to transform education. We are seeking an experienced corporate fundraiser to build our burgeoning programme, unlock exciting new opportunities for support and lead on developing new voluntary income from corporate partnerships. You will champion creative, insight-driven new business development and account management, ensuring partnerships are meaningful, mutually beneficial and aligned with our mission. This role will encompass research and qualification, engagement of potential corporate partners, developing propositions and proposals, pitching and securing new partners and relationship building and stewardship. This role will suit someone proactive and self-motivated, with proven experience in building income from corporate partnerships, who is comfortable working independently, skilled in building relationships at all levels, and driven by Voice 21’s mission.

Key Responsibility of the Role: 

• Work collaboratively across the organisation to build trusted relationships internally, maximise opportunities, and ensure corporate partnerships support our strategic objectives.

• Identify and deliver opportunities to develop new partnerships, securing and onboarding new corporate partners through targeted engagement.

• Build sustainable relationships with corporate contacts, ensuring excellent engagement and stewardship.

• Build a robust pipeline of prospective partners, ensuring a strategic and targeted approach to new business.

• Collaborate across teams to shape and deliver high-value, mutually beneficial partnership proposals that align with organisational priorities. 

• Provide strategic support to the Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring where appropriate that senior colleagues are fully briefed and prepared.

• Contribute your sector knowledge, expertise and specialist insights to inform strategy and innovation and assist decision-making.

• Keep accurate records of all interactions with supporters and prospects. 

What you will bring: 

• Proven experience in setting up a corporate fundraising programme, with a track record of securing five-figure+ relationships and raising income to target.

• Knowledge and/or experience of a range of corporate income streams, from strategic partnerships and sponsorships, to cause-related marketing, employee engagement, gifts in kind, etc.

• Strong commercial awareness, with ability to identify and prioritise high-value opportunities. Proactive and assertive, with the ability to recognise and act on new opportunities and the tenacity to secure meetings. 

• Experience of building a portfolio of corporate sector prospects and managing a pipeline of opportunities. Ideally with experience of using Salesforce (or another CRM system) to manage pipelines, track performance and report on outcomes.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, negotiating and influencing to achieve successful outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident and engaging presentation abilities.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Knowledge of fundraising legislation, ethics, compliance, and data protection requirements.

• Self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously, and able to take ownership of own performance. Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative culture.

Who you’ll work with: Your line manager will be the Head of Fundraising and you will work alongside a fundraising officer. The fundraising team sits in the Operations Directorate.

Where you’ll work: All Voice 21 staff work remotely and this is a home-based role, with some travel expected to our London office (by Victoria station) and elsewhere for meetings. Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on where you are based. Voice 21 pays all travel and accommodation expenses.

Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by bipolar — including individuals, carers, families and loved ones. Over one million people in the UK live with bipolar disorder, yet many experience symptoms for years before receiving an accurate diagnosis.

 Purpose:  The Peer Support Officer role will work within Bipolar UK’s Peer Support Line team to support our community through telephone and email support across the UK.

The role involves using your skills and knowledge to support people affected by bipolar disorder with support requests and providing information and signposting to people via email and telephone. The successful applicant will also manage service reports in Salesforce, report back regularly to the management team, as well as developing links with other mental health services or appropriate agencies.

Though Bipolar UK does not offer Crisis Support, the successful applicant may have to direct members of our community experiencing a crisis to relevant services and will also be responsible for recognising and reporting Safeguarding incidents within the bounds of Bipolar UK’s Safeguarding Policies.

The position requires good personal interaction and the ability to empathise with service users while remaining calm and considered in sometimes difficult situations.  This is a varied and hands on role and we are looking for someone with good communication (verbal and written) along with good organisational skills. Bipolar UK will offer the successful applicant regular support and engagement with the team, as well as reflective practice sessions throughout their service with the charity.

The Peer Support Officer reports to the Services Manager who manages this service. This will be a home-based role with occasional travel, such as team days/meetings/training.

We’re looking for a Head of Research & Evidence to join our ambitious Research, Learning & Systems Change Team. 

Young Lives vs Cancer has a strong and growing commitment to changing the system for children and young people with cancer, and their loved ones. Our North Star vision and Time is Now Strategy focus on influencing how the wider system works – from services and policy to practice on the ground – so that families get the support they need.

The Head of Research and Evidence sits in the Research, Learning & Systems Change team, within our Innovation, Policy & Systems Change Directorate. The role is responsible for ensuring our work is grounded in strong, credible and useful evidence, and that learning is actively used to shape decisions, practice and change across the system.

This is a leadership role within a small but ambitious team. You will set direction and provide thought leadership, but you will also be hands on – designing, commissioning, managing and using research alongside colleagues and partners.

Building trusted relationships and using evidence to influence thinking and action are central. You will work with colleagues, children and young people, families, and partner organisations (such as the North Star Cancer Collective) to learn, strengthen credibility and create change.

What will I be doing?

As part of the fundraising team, you’ll spend your days out in the community, speaking to members of the public and inspiring support for nature conservation.

Typical duties include:

• Travelling to a variety of local venues and events using a company van (fuel and parking costs covered).

At the UK Cyber Security Council, we’re here to connect, champion and charter the UK’s cyber security profession. Our work is driven by a diverse group of experts, volunteers and partners who bring energy, insight, and commitment to everything we do. Through setting the standards for competence and ethics, awarding professional titles, and supporting more people to get into a career in cyber, we’re on a mission to grow and empower the UK’s cyber security workforce. The Council is the non-regulatory body for the UK’s cyber security sector, and are responsible for holding and developing the UK’s Cyber Security Professional Register. Professionalisation of the sector is still in its early phases of implementation but we have, to date, launched eight specialisms across four professional titles (Associate, Practitioner, Principal and Chartered). About the role

Sitting within the Community & Events Team, and more broadly the Income & Engagement Department, the Community Fundraising Officer plays a vital role in supporting the long-term growth, development, and delivery of Sands’ community fundraising activities.

This is a new role at Sands, and it is an exciting time to join our growing team. This role will support acquisition activity, national campaign delivery and provide outstanding stewardship to fundraisers, community group and Sands groups, maximising their fundraising efforts and strengthening their relationship to Sands. You will also support the development of Sands regional fundraising approach, providing operational and administrative support to the Community Fundraising Manager.

The role is key to enabling the scaling of national community campaigns, enhancing supporter led fundraising activity, delivering high quality supporter stewardship, and supporting the future development of Sands’ emerging regional fundraising model.

Main Responsibilities

Community Fundraising Delivery & Growth

• Working with the Community Fundraising Manager, develop and deliver a community fundraising strategy for both new and existing activities.
• Support and assist with the delivery of Sands' community fundraising portfolio, ensuring activities are monitored and excellent supporter experience is given so to maximise impact and growth of each product.

By making complex science accessible, engaging and meaningful you will ensure breakthroughs are widely understood and effectively communicated. You will translate evidence into inspiring stories, positioning Alzheimer’s Society as a trusted leader in dementia research and motivating more people to join us in driving change.

In this new role, you will lead our organisational approach to research communications, working strategically and collaboratively across the charity to embed research narratives across major organisational priorities and campaigns. You will manage and develop the research communications team, creating an environment where people feel supported, empowered and able to contribute their best work.

Your leadership and in-house expertise will ensure that research communications activity is insight-led and effectively integrated with wider communications channels and audiences. You will oversee the translation of complex research portfolios into clear, audience-led messaging. By representing Alzheimer’s Society at conferences, events and in the media, you will help to raise the profile of our research and ensure it resonates across internal and external audiences.

Role Purpose

The Education Trainer supports the Education Manager in the design and delivery of specialist, evidence-informed trainings programmes for education professionals equipping them to support bereaved children, young people, adults and communities.

Using trauma-informed, evidence-based content delivered through both digital platforms and in-person, the role ensures schools and educational staff have practical tools to identify, respond to, support and/or refer bereaved children, young people and adults.

We are recruiting for two Education Trainers, both to work full-time hours (35 per week). One term-time only and the other to work year-round.

• At least three years’ recent experience (in the past six years) of delivering training to professionals
• At least three years’ recent experience of working with children, young people and families in a health, social care, youth, community or education setting

• Experience of liaising with and working alongside organisations that support children and young people
• Experience of working with vulnerable communities
• Experience of delivering training using a digital platform

First Stage Screening Interviews

You may be asked to attend a 10-minute Screening Interview on MS Teams with the Hiring Managers for the vacancy, to assess your suitability for the role. During the interview, you will be asked two skills-based questions.

Second Stage Interviews

If you are progressed to a second stage interview, you will be invited to attend a 1-hour formal interview on MS Teams with the Hiring Managers for the role. It is our policy to share the role-specific interview questions with applicants ahead of the interview, to aid their preparation. Youth Team Forum Discussion

For roles in our Bereavement Services Team, we will invite those applicants selected for interview along to a discussion forum with members of our Youth Team. This session is held remotely and lasts approximately 20 minutes. The discussion topic will be shared with you in advance of the session.
