About this job

This part-time, fixed-term role (21 hours per week) will coordinate our Breathing Space project in Wales until March 2029. The project enables unpaid carers supporting people with MS and other neurological conditions to take short breaks.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Project Coordinator who enjoys delivering fixed-term funded projects, working directly with the people we support and our volunteers. Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to achieve project objectives are essential.

You will work closely with unpaid carers, people affected by MS and other neurological conditions, key external partners, the Service and Support Team, the Director for Wales and teams across the MS Society. Focused on outcomes and tangible results, you will build strong stakeholder partnerships and represent the MS Society at meetings and events promoting the project to unpaid carers.

The role can be based anywhere in Wales, but regular travel across Wales is expected.

Welsh language skills are desirable

About GMWSA

Greater Manchester Women’s Support Alliance brings together nine Member and Associate women’s centres serving all ten Greater Manchester boroughs. Together, the Alliance helps women involved in the criminal justice system, at risk of offending or experiencing multiple disadvantage to access coordinated, trauma-responsive support in their communities.

GMWSA is both a strategic alliance and a contract-holding organisation. It coordinates major commissioned work across Greater Manchester, supports delivery through local women’s centres and represents a pan-Greater Manchester view in partnerships concerned with women, justice, health and gender-based violence. Its work includes community-based probation services, support at HMP Styal and health-focused initiatives delivered with NHS and voluntary-sector partners.

About the role

This maternity-cover appointment comes at an important point in GMWSA’s development. The substantive Chief Executive has built strong relationships and a significant portfolio of work. During her absence, the Alliance needs a confident interim leader who can maintain momentum, give staff and partners clarity, and ensure that major commitments continue to be delivered well.

Alongside business continuity, there is meaningful development work to lead. GMWSA is resetting its strategic purpose, strengthening the way its Board and membership work together, and preparing for the possible retender of service contracts.

The successful candidate will keep delivery on track while helping the Board and members make practical progress on these priorities.

You will lead a small core team and work across a wider network of project staff, secondees, women’s centres, commissioners and strategic partners. About FFLAG

FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity and is the UK's longest established parent support charity in the LGBT+ sector. Our history began in the grassroots parent helplines of the 1960s, grew through the 1980's and 90's as we supported anxious parents and fought against the discrimination of Section 28, becoming a formally registered charity in 2000.

As Volunteer Coordinator, you'll make sure FFLAG's volunteers are properly recruited, trained and supported, so they can continue doing this work well. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:

• Identify what volunteers FFLAG needs, then recruit, induct and train them, including DBS checks and references

• Maintain training, the volunteer handbook and the Code of Conduct up to date

We are seeking a National ISVA Coordinator(s). The postholder(s) will provide an initial point of contact, undertake initial risk and needs assessment, provide trauma-informed information and support, and coordinate onward referral and handover to appropriate local ISVA and specialist services.

A key focus of the role will be providing initial support to adult and child survivors affected by group-based child sexual abuse and exploitation (GBCSAE), as well as other forms of sexual violence. We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and compassionate Administrator / Secretary to join our small, friendly charity. The charity provides subsidised housing and grants to local organisations and individuals in need.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys making a difference and wants to play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of an organisation that is committed to improving the lives of others. It is a busy time in the life of the charity as we have recently become a charitable incorporated organisation and are undertaking several significant projects.

As the first point of contact for many of our service usersyou will be an ambassador for the charity, providing a warm and professional welcome while ensuring our administrative systems run efficiently.

Main Responsibilities

·Provide high-quality administrative support to the charity.

·Manage telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries professionally and sensitively.

·Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in line with GDPR requirements.

·Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and manage diaries.Please note that some of the meetings take place in the evening.

·Provide monthly reconciliation of accounts. Processing invoices, expenses and processing of donations where required.

·Liaising with the charity’s accountants and managing agents.

·Update annual charity commission return.

·Update databases, spreadsheets and reports.

·Provide administrative support for trusteesas required.

·Update of website.

·Has excellent organisational and time management skills.

·Can prioritise a varied workload and work independently.

·Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·Is confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online systems (we use Xero for our accounting)

·Has excellent attention to detail.

·Is reliable, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.

·Shares the charity's values and commitment to supporting the local community.

·Previous administration experience for a charity is desirable, although not essential for the right candidate.

·Please note that we may ask for a DBS check to be carried out.

Accreditation Manager        

Salary: £58,000p.a.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

Location: Wigan or Home Based with extensive travel throughout the UK and occasional international travel.

About the role

This is a leadership role for someone who can combine strategic thinking, strong project management, commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder engagement. You will ensure our accreditation programmes continue to inspire participation, generate income and deliver measurable impact for people, places and the environment.

As Accreditation Manager, you will lead the strategy, growth and delivery of our accreditation programmes, ensuring they support accessible, high-quality places, promote wellbeing and sustainability, generate income and demonstrate measurable impact. You will oversee budgets, partnerships, quality assurance, impact reporting and programme teams, while acting as a senior contact for government, sector bodies, partners, customers and stakeholders in the UK and internationally.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership, project management and relationship-building skills, together with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders and represent the organisation externally. You will bring experience of managing budgets, developing commercial or partner-funded relationships, solving complex problems and leading teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Knowledge of the green spaces sector is essential, while knowledge of the coastal and hospitality sectors would be an advantage.

We're recruiting for a Programme Delivery Officer to join our Programme Operations team and play a key role in supporting the delivery and evolution of Mary's Meals school feeding programme operations around the world.

Working closely with Programme Affiliates, Programme Partners and colleagues across Mary's Meals International, you'll help ensure that the systems, processes and information that underpin programme delivery are effective, consistent and fit for purpose. You'll support the implementation of operational tools and improvements, provide practical guidance to programme teams, and use data and insights to strengthen programme performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, working with data and collaborating with colleagues across different countries and cultures. 

Key priorities:

• Implement and improve programme delivery systems, tools and processes.
• Guide Programme Affiliates and Partners on delivery standards and requirements.

• Shape practical logistics policies, processes and tools that support our global programmes.
• Use performance data and insights to identify opportunities, manage risk and support informed decision-making.
• Support country teams to build capability, confidence and consistently high standards.
• Foster collaboration between procurement and logistics colleagues to improve programme delivery.
• Champion safe, efficient and cost-effective fleet management, including vehicle tracking and telematics.
• Strengthen supplier relationships, contract management and performance monitoring.
• Enhance facilities, warehousing and distribution practices across our supply chain.
• Contribute to programme planning, audits, growth initiatives and operational strategy.

About you:

We're looking for a Programme Logistics Manager who combines strong logistics expertise with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for our mission. You’ll bring:  

• Significant experience in logistics and/or operations within an international organisation.
• A strong understanding of logistics systems, processes and performance management.

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to balance competing priorities.

• Experience leading or coordinating teams, particularly in decentralised or geographically dispersed environments would be beneficial but not essential.
