As Marketing Assistant at Mind in Enfield and Barnet you will play a key role in managing digital marketing channels, creating engaging content, and designing promotional materials. The role supports the organisation’s mission to connect with the community, promote mental health services, and increase participation in projects and events. The Marketing Assistant ensures consistent branding and messaging across platforms to effectively engage diverse audiences.

You will have proven experience in managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn) for organisational marketing or outreach purposes.

Duties will include:

Graphic Design - Design promotional materials such as leaflets and flyers to support MiEB’s services and projects, ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal.

Social Media Management - Create engaging content and manage MiEB’s presence across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn to promote services, initiatives, and outreach events.

Newsletter Creation & Campaigns - Develop and design quarterly newsletters for MiEB, and manage distribution campaigns via Mailchimp to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

Service & Project Promotion - Promote MiEB’s services and initiatives through targeted channels such as email marketing, local press, and other relevant outreach tools to increase visibility and community engagement.

Google Ads Management - Oversee and optimize Google Ads campaigns for both MiEB and DOVE Private Counselling and Psychotherapy, ensuring effective use of budget and maximized reach.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field (Level 3 or above).
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Certification or training in digital marketing, social media management, or Google Ads (desirable).

The Job

This is a hands-on Director of Finance role, responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of the organisation and two related charities. You'll manage a small team (currently one full-time and one part-time staff member) and report directly to the Chief Exec equivalent.

The Person

You'll need excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems (SAP Business One experience is a plus but not essential).

The Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association (known as SASRA) is one of the longest-established Christian charities supporting the British Armed Forces. Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research and provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.

The Taskforce for Lung Health (the secretariat for which is provided by Asthma + Lung UK) is a collaboration of the largest ever group of organisations and individuals who have come together, as a team, to improve lung health. Our primary goal is to elevate the importance of lung health within the NHS. The Taskforce has over 50 members including patients, carers, healthcare professionals, the voluntary sector and professional associations. An Industries Forum working alongside the Taskforce includes representatives from the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, devices and digital industries. 

Senior Policy and Engagement Officer – Taskforce for Lung Health

This role will support the Taskforce to deliver its ambitious programme of activity for 2026, working collaboratively with members and partners to deliver meaningful change for people with respiratory conditions.  You will lead and drive forward Taskforce policy and influencing work across priority areas, producing high-quality evidence-based outputs, working in collaboration with Taskforce members and partners, including patients, clinicians, other charities and corporate partners. You will develop the Taskforce’s engagement strategy, identifying opportunities to increase engagement and harness the potential of our collective endeavours to drive improvements in care for people with respiratory conditions, building strong working relationships with key stakeholders. This role can be either Office based or Remote based.

Senior Policy Officer – Asthma + Lung UK

Reporting to the Health Policy Manager, you will carry out proactive policy and influencing work across a range of health policy areas related to NHS services, treatment and care for lung conditions. You will work closely with other policy team members to influence change, and draft impactful policy positions and recommendations, using research, patient experience, clear analysis and strong arguments. You will work with a range of important external stakeholders, building strong relationships and influencing positive change. This role is Office based only. 

For both roles                                         

You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise your workload efficiently. You will have experience of developing robust policy positions and campaigning for policy change. You will be proactive and able to manage your workload independently, able to communicate complex issues to different audiences, and work collaboratively with a range of teams and external stakeholders. You will be comfortable managing multiple deadlines and adapting to changes in the external policy environment.

About This Job

This is an exciting role in Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK to be the focal point for HR support, organisational planning and recruitment. You will provide HR advice and support the Trustees, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and all line managers in our charities. ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people through supporting the Army Cadet Force and its activities in the community. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools.
