The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly creative, Graphic Designer to join the Scouts Brand and Content team at Gilwell Park.
In this exciting and varied role, you’ll design and deliver impactful content that supports the Scouts’ strategy: empowering even more young people through adventure, teamwork and shared values to take the lead and make a positive difference in the world.
Reporting to the Creative Lead, you’ll design a wide range of content, from thumb stopping social media posts, and annual reports, to large scale event branding and resources that support Scout badges and group activities.
You’ll collaborate with internal and external colleagues to produce branded content, mainly for digital channels such as social media and the website, though print design and layout skills are also essential. You’ll play a key role in the creative content process, brainstorming and shaping content using words, images, audio and video, with a strong focus on design.
You’ll also play an important creative role in project teams, delivering on-brand digital and print content that supports our goals. This includes conceptualisation, presentation, commissioning work, training colleagues on best practices and delivering to deadlines.
You’ll lead on key projects and campaigns, plus mentor and guide a junior creative.

As our Midweight Designer, the Key responsibilities are:

• Provide in-house graphic design services
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to research, test and iterate content for digital channels such as social media and the website
• Lead and project-manage specific projects and campaigns
• Suggest creative solutions and put forward own ideas for engaging and innovative content and other improvements to the user journey

What we are looking for in our Midweight Designer:

• Strong creative and conceptual skills
• Able to conceptualise and produce content, with a specialist design focus, for digital and physical contexts, including marketing materials
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines with good attention to detail
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (eg Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)

Purpose of the Role

Here at Edward’s Trust, we are excited and committed to growing our service offer and fundraising whilst working with a small but mighty team.  We have strong and realistic foundations in the trusts and grants income stream and a secure base of income from long-term committed funders. These funders enable us to reach children and adults through our specialist counselling services and projects alike, but with a huge amount of new work in development, securing new income from trusts and foundations is a high priority for us.

This role will deliver essential stewardship to our growing portfolio of warm trust supporters, engaging with them to provide inspirational impact reporting to secure continued funding. Our new colleague will gain exciting CV enhancing experience through working and securing new grants for some of the larger funders which is where we wish this post to focus on.

You will support Edward’s Trust to develop its presence in the trust and foundations world, by working to agreed new business targets and contributing to the creation of a high-quality pipeline of new trust and foundation opportunities.  

Key Accountabilities:

• Become an expert in Edward’s Trust current activities and future plans
• Manage a portfolio of trust supporters, providing outstanding stewardship, and ensuring relationships deliver against agreed objectives to enhance the long-term relationship.
• Prepare and deliver engaging bids and reports to share impact and inspire future support.
• Work cross-organisationally to support projects and reporting and to help shape and develop appropriate projects for funding (alongside the Head of Fundraising and Service Delivery Manager).
• Build good working relations with key staff and Trustees of established trust supporters.
• Thank supporters promptly and ensure that progress reports and updates are received by supporters as and when required.

This newly created role within St Luke's is supported by a generous grant from the Henry Smith Foundation to develop our wellbeing programmes over the next three years. The Associate Director will engage with dioceses and individual clergy as they explore and embed our wellbeing programmes. 

The post holder will represent St Luke's and our Christian ethos within senior diocesan teams and help shape and deliver our strategic vision for flourishing clergy. This role will support the advancing clergy reflection programme and support dioceses, other networks and communities and Theological Educational Institutions in establishing wellbeing practices.

The role is home based with travel around the UK as required. There will be a requirement to be in London at least once a month for team meetings. 

This role carries an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practicing Christian, in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. The role involves representing and upholding the Christian ethos of St Luke’s in both internal leadership and external engagement.

As National Services Volunteer Officer, you’ll support around 50 volunteers who contribute to our peer support services, virtual community services, and support hub. You’ll play a key role in recruiting, training, and developing volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and confident in their roles. You’ll also work closely with service delivery teams to maintain high standards of wellbeing, safety, and recognition for volunteers.

What you’ll do

• Recruit, train, and provide ongoing support to volunteers delivering national services.
• Offer day-to-day guidance and feedback, ensuring volunteers deliver safe and effective support.
• Manage volunteering rotas for the virtual support hub and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure volunteer resources and training meet organisational standards.
• Promote inclusivity and reduce barriers to volunteering.
• Handle safeguarding concerns promptly and in line with policy.

About you

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Experience supporting multi-channel or remote services, ideally in a health or charity setting.
• Experience managing volunteers (or staff), including recruitment, training, and wellbeing support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively.
• Knowledge of quality standards and safeguarding practices.

Race Against Dementia is a global charity founded by three-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE to find preventions, treatments and cures for dementia – faster.

We fund and support pioneering early-career scientists around the world, giving them the tools, mentoring and Formula 1-inspired mindset to accelerate breakthroughs. From the UK to the USA, Australia to South Africa, our researchers are rethinking how dementia research is done – applying data science, AI and engineering to neuroscience in bold, collaborative ways.

This role sits within Race Against Dementia’s small, dynamic Fundraising and Marketing team, which raises income in the UK from individuals, major donors, trusts and foundations, and community fundraisers. The team works closely together to build awareness, inspire support, and deliver exceptional experiences for our donors and supporters.

Purpose of the Role

The Fundraising Officer plays a key role in delivering Race Against Dementia’s fundraising and marketing activity, helping to grow income and strengthen supporter relationships. The role combines operational excellence with creativity: managing systems, data and platforms to ensure effective delivery, while producing engaging content and stories that inspire action.

Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

• Manage incoming communications to the fundraising team, ensuring timely, professional responses
• Maintain the CRM with up to date and accurate supporter information, and act as organisational lead on CRM best practice and management
• Set up dashboards and reporting systems in the CRM to monitor donor behaviours and patterns Provide regular updates and reports to the fundraising team on supporter behaviours, channel performance, trends etc. to inform strategy

Fundraiser communications and events

• Act as first point of contact for individuals and organisations fundraising for the charity
• Record and track all fundraising events and activities, implementing communication plans to welcome, support, and thank participants
• Work with the Public Fundraising and Marketing Lead to build digital and automated onboarding and stewardship journeys for community fundraisers
• Oversee the delivery of excellent stewardship for community fundraisers through responsive support, proactive communication and effective use of automated journeys to enhance their experience and results
• Build strategies to maximise fundraiser income, including targets, incentives etc.
• Lead on the planning and execution of fundraising engagement events, optimising the on-site experience and income generation potential.
• Support and coordinate fundraising volunteers for key engagement events, building a stewardship programme across the year

Fundraising Operations

• Manage our major fundraising platforms (e.g. Just Giving) to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Support the management of our legacy and in memory donations, delivering thoughtful and sensitive  supporter communications
• Work with the Finance Manager on monthly direct debits and income reconciliation.
• Undertake research to identify new supporter, donor, trust/foundation and HNW prospects aligned with our mission

Logistics and Administration

• Maintain records of fundraising materials and merchandise, reordering stock as needed.
• Oversee the relationship with the fulfilment house to ensure smooth delivery of goods and supporter packs
• Track and manage auction items and raffle prizes, monitoring usage and income
• Support the delivery of key Race Against Dementia events, providing logistical support and ensuring excellent supporter experiences
• Maintain team calendars, campaign planners, and shared resources to support smooth team operations
