About the role:
This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of our supporter engagement. You’ll take ownership of our CRM strategy and management, ensuring data quality and seamless processes that empower our fundraising and communications teams. Through your proven Dynamics 365 CRM skills and experience, you will also lead the charity’s CRM business processes and data quality, collaborating with the key stakeholders across the charity.

This position is based remotely, but there is also an option to work on a hybrid basis at our head office in Norfolk. Where working remotely, you will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation.

About you:
You’ll have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and experience configuring and optimising CRM systems. Skilled in the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), you combine strong technical ability with excellent communication skills, making complex information clear for non-technical colleagues. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you manage workloads effectively under pressure and build positive relationships across teams. A good understanding of data protection and compliance is essential, and experience in a fundraising or charity environment is desirable.

Legasee is a charity committed to ensuring that future generations can learn about our history through the personal recollections of the men and women who witnessed it first-hand. We provide students, teachers and researchers with unique access to a high-definition video archive of interviews with veterans and civilians connected to British military conflict from 1939 to the present day.

We are now seeking to recruit a committed and organised Project Officer to support the delivery of a major new oral history project focusing on the Aden Emergency, made possible thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. At its heart, the project will record the oral histories of 30–40 veterans and civilians whose lives were shaped by service in, or connection to, Aden during the final years of British rule.

Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Officer will play a key role in the on-the-ground delivery of the project in Blackpool and the wider Northwest. The role has a particular focus on face-to-face volunteer coordination and the digitisation of archival material from the Aden Veterans Association, alongside supporting local events, interview days and community engagement activity.

The Project Officer will act as a local point of contact for volunteers, veterans and partner organisations, ensuring that activity is well organised, welcoming and delivered to a high standard. This is a practical, people-facing role, suited to someone who enjoys working directly with communities and supporting volunteers to develop new skills and confidence.

The recorded testimonies and digitised materials will form a permanent digital archive, supporting public engagement, interpretation and learning, and ensuring that the experiences of those connected to the Aden Emergency are preserved for future generations. The Project Officer will support quality assurance, accessibility and good archival practice throughout this process.

Education and community engagement are central to the project. The Project Officer will contribute to activity delivered in partnership with local schools, libraries and community groups, helping to create meaningful opportunities for people to engage with oral history and local heritage.

The role is home-based but requires regular in-person working in Blackpool and the surrounding area, including attendance at volunteer sessions, events and meetings. Flexibility around working hours is essential to meet the practical needs of the project.

If successful, your role will be:

• To support the delivery of the project in line with the requirements of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the agreed evaluation framework
• To coordinate and support volunteers involved in digitisation, events and local project activity
• To act as a local liaison with veterans, partners and community organisations

About the role

We’re looking for a Social Care Support Coordinator with experience of person-centred, low level social care support to service users, to join our vibrant and fast paced, fully remote, Central Support team.  This team provides an an additional point of entry to Young Lives vs Cancer’s services, alongside the local social work teams based in hospitals.

This mixed team of staff and volunteers delivers UK-wide timely and compassionate digital and phone-based support to young people with cancer, and families of children with cancer. You will also be the first point of contact for phone, email and web-chat enquiries from people and organisations in their wider support network.  In addition, you will hold your own caseload of young people and families who you will provide regular telephone check-in support.

This role is a 28-hour-per-week post, and the successful candidate must be available to work on Tuesday, Wednesday & Fridays. Final working-day patterns will be discussed at interview, but all hours must fall within our core hours of 09:00–17:00.

This post also includes a flex-up component, which allows the team to respond to increased demand or cover absence. It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to take on additional hours (up to a maximum of 35 hours per week), as required by business need. Additional hours will be paid at a day rate, and your availability will be discussed with you at the time.

The Central Support and Social Care team is fully remote and home-based; all work will be completed at a distance.  Laptop and phone will be provided

What will I be doing?

No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.

• Providing person-centred, low level social care support to young people diagnosed with cancer and to parents/families of children with cancer, through proactive check-ins.

• Offering compassionate listening, practical advice, guidance and signposting on issues such as finance, housing, education, work and emotional wellbeing.

• Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, web chat and other digital channels, resolving or appropriately escalating queries.

• Processing referrals from professionals and self-referrals, accurately inputting information into the case management system.

• Supporting volunteers during their shifts and working collaboratively with social workers and colleagues across the wider social care teams.

• Maintaining clear, timely and confidential records and contributing to team meetings, reflective practice and shared learning.

• Participating in the duty rota and flexing up hours during busy periods to ensure families receive timely, high-quality support.

Open Rights Group (ORG) is recruiting for a Pre-Crime Programme Manager

The Pre-Crime Programme Manager leads our work on predictive policing and surveillance within the criminal legal system and counter-terrorism policy, with a particular focus on raising awareness of, and challenging, the impact on over-policed and over-surveilled communities.

They are responsible for the development and implementation of the Pre-Crime programme, working with the Senior Management Team (SMT) and other staff to expand the programme’s profile, network and funding opportunities.

As a Programme Lead, they will also be responsible for working with the SMT and other Area or Programme leads to further develop and uphold ORG’s values and collaborative working culture. They will be recognised as an issue-expert and senior leader within the organisation.

Activities

This is a permanent position at Open Rights Group, and we have secured a number of project grants to deliver the following activities:

• Lead and manage the Safety Not Surveillance (SNS) Coalition, the UK’s only coalition fighting to prohibit AI- and data-driven predictive policing. SNS brings together grassroots partners with national organisations to build power in communities, secure media coverage, engage decision-makers and mobilise those with lived experience.

• Develop detailed policy positions on the deployment of AI and data-driven technologies by private and public actors in criminal justice, immigration and national security.

• Advocacy to encourage decision makers, including MPs, Lords, Government departments and the Information Commissioner’s Office, to adopt ORG’s and the coalition’s recommendations.

• Conduct campaigns that raise awareness of the threats posed to people’s digital rights by the data-driven technologies in policing and counter-terrorism, as well as more broadly.

• Through research and FOIs, help build a legal case with our partners against covert Police-led pathways under Prevent, the UK’s counter-terrorism programme.

• Opportunities to campaign against digital ID, the Online Safety Act and to protect freedom of expression.

What we’re looking for

You might be knowledgeable on the current and emerging technologies impacting policing and the criminal justice system.

You will likely have experiencing managing multiple projects addressing harms impacting communities that are marginalised and made vulnerable by society.

• Some public speaking: such as giving press quotes and interviews, as well as representing ORG at external events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Operational Leadership

· Lead the day-to-day running and strategic direction of the charity in line with the Board’s vision.

· Develop and implement the Marauders Pathway Programme to establish a culture of good citizenship and peer support.

3. People & Volunteer Management

· Provide leadership, support, and development for staff, managing issues such as payroll, sickness, and holidays.

· Oversee the Volunteer Co-ordinator to develop a comprehensive volunteer management process, including recruitment, training, and 'Reward & Recognition’.

· Help inspire 100 men to give back to the community through volunteering.

4. Partnerships & IT Development

· Maintain and forge new community partnerships (e.g. with voluntary organisations, NGO’s, other charities and social enterprises) to enhance volunteering, education, and wellbeing services.

· Spearhead the development of our IT Platform, focusing on a robust website and a Beneficiary Management System (CRM) for efficient reporting, data capture, and engagement.

· Oversee digital marketing and communications, including newsletters and social media content.

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced and passionate Chief Financial & Operations Officer (CFOO) to join The Lifescape Project, leading the evolution, management and delivery of our financial and operational capacities as the organisation grows.

Our impact as a charity depends on excellent financial management and the efficient provision of supporting operational structures, policies and ways of working. Our team has grown from just one to a team which will number 20 at the time of the successful CFOO candidate joining. This growth to date and planned future growth requires constant evolution of our financial and operational infrastructure and an experienced hand to guide this process, which is the core purpose of the CFOO role we are seeking to appoint.

We are excited to be hiring for this role, which will be transformational for the organisation, allowing us to develop our approach to financial and operational matters and support the continued growth of our team and impact. The role will act as second in command and will deputise for the CEO when absent. We are therefore looking for a highly capable and experienced finance and operations leader with the vision to ensure that we continue to grow in a sustainable, effective and efficient way.

We currently have a full-time manager and officer in our Finance and Operations team (F&O Team), which the CFOO will be joining to oversee, develop and guide all relevant functions. With the small size of the team at this time, the CFOO will be expected to jump into the detail in some areas. In the short term this will include delivering some of the more complex areas of the F&O team’s work, such as the audit process, multi-year financial planning and legal compliance, with support from other team members and external advisers as appropriate. If we continue to succeed in delivering our growth strategy, the role will progress over the medium term with increasing team size/supervisory duties and reducing involvement in immediate implementation. We provide a highly valued service to unpaid family and friend carers where they or the person they care for are a patient in hospital. The team work across 5 Acute and 7 community hospitals serving the residents of West Sussex. 

You will focus on and play a vital role in our Support at Home after Hospital (SaHaH) service, providing time-limited, information, emotional support and access to practical assistance to eligible carers following discharge, helping them feel confident and connected during the move home.

Alongside SaHaH, you’ll spend a limited portion of your week offering guidance to carers during their hospital journey—primarily via phone—working collaboratively with NHS staff and partner organisations to ensure carers are included and informed. 

You will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to take a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and ensuring support for individuals navigating complex systems. You will be a natural communicator with excellent administrative skills and a strong attention to detail.

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and values-led Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead East London Waterworks Park in this next phase of our development. This is a rare opportunity to shape the first paid executive leadership role in a pioneering environmental charity.

The CEO role is wide-ranging and dynamic, and will evolve as East London Waterworks Park grows. The CEO will provide strategic leadership to help realise our ambition to purchase the Thames Water depot site in East London, while strengthening our capacity to deliver community-led rewilding and nature-recovery projects across London in partnership with landowners, local authorities and other stakeholders.

Are you looking for a role where you can make a difference? We’re looking for a new Campaigns and Communications Manager Wales at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) to grow the profile of RCP Cymru Wales in the Senedd and in the media.

You’ll be part of the policy and campaigns team, responsible for ensuring the RCP maintains its position as a credible, influential stakeholder in the eyes of government, political stakeholders, the sector and our physician members.

You’ll be driven by growing the RCP’s voice and reputation as a leading health organisation in Wales. You’ll develop and deliver campaigns on a range of high-profile topics, including the NHS workforce, health inequalities, integrated care and clinical leadership. You’ll work with members in Wales to turn their views and experiences into campaigns and media work that effectively influence the national agenda.

You will work with the RCP Vice President for Wales and Wales Regional Advisers to develop bespoke Wales campaigns content, as well as translating RCP UK policy reports into Wales-specific campaigns and communications outputs. You will have strong experience of analysing policy developments in the external national landscape and evolving and developing campaigns and lines to take in response. You will be as comfortable speaking to government officials, journalists and Senedd members as you are drafting media comments, blogs, consultation submissions and short policy briefings and reports.

You’ll need a sharp eye for detail and be able to quickly and accurately interpret and communicate complex information. You will brief the vice president for Wales, Welsh regional advisers and senior staff for media interviews and influencing meetings, as well as proactively engaging external stakeholders in the NHS and health sector yourself. You will play a critical role in ensuring RCP Cymru members are kept up to date with developments in Welsh healthcare and on RCP campaigns, including through a monthly blog and member newsletter.

Representing around 1,200 members in Wales, RCP Cymru Wales aims to educate, improve and influence for better healthcare. Our members and fellows work across over 30 medical specialties such as cardiology, neurology, infectious diseases, geriatric and respiratory and acute internal medicine, working in hospital and community settings.

You’ll join the organisation at an exciting time as it finalises its new strategy. The policy and campaigns team – which is part of the wider communications, policy and research directorate – is a fast paced, collaborative and innovative environment. Responsibilities

• Raising the profile of RCP Cymru in the media and Senedd by developing and delivering campaigns across a range of topics within the RCP’s policy portfolio.
• Working with Westminster policy colleagues to translate UK RCP policy reports into Wales-specific campaigns outputs and with VP Wales, Regional Advisers and members to develop bespoke Welsh policy content.
• Delivering robust horizon scanning and proactively identifying key issues and opportunities to evolve our work on high-profile issues and to deliver media, campaigns or influencing activity that furthers our aims.

Executive Assistant 

Reports to: Chief Executive 
Location: Remote, with some attendance at our office in Victoria, SW1 and other meetings as required, plus 5 Annual Staff days per year 
Hours: 28 hours per week preferable, however we will consider 21 hours per week 

 Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 FTE (FTE 35 hours per week)

AdviceUK is a small, growing charity working to improve the lives of people in need of advice through the support it gives to its members. We currently have 650 members, who last year supported 2.8 million people with free advice on a diverse range of issues including debt, benefits, housing and immigration. 

This is an exciting time to join us. In 2024, we launched our new three-year strategy to develop our services to members and strengthen our organisational capacity. 

As part of our continued growth, we are now seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team and support the Chief Executive to work effectively with the Board and to support the senior leadership team. 

Role Purpose 

We are looking for an organised and proactive Executive Assistant to join our team. The Executive Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Chief Executive (CE), the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Board of Trustees to work efficiently and effectively together to achieve AdviceUK’s strategic objectives, to the benefit of people seeking advice and the communities served by our members

Please note: We are open to flexible working proposals, but the role will need to work on a Friday and attend three Board meetings a year that are held online from 5-7pm. Please include the details of any flexible working proposals you would like to make in your application. 

Key Responsibilities 

 1.1 Provide proactive and effective support to the Chief Executive (CE) by 

• Managing the flow of information to and from the CE, filtering communications and acting to resolve issues; referring internal and external enquirers to the correct person whilst recognising urgency/importance of the enquiry. 

• Being the friendly and approachable gatekeeper for the CE internally, ensuring they are accessible to staff and trustees whilst setting appropriate boundaries around their time and availability. 

• Proactively managing correspondence, including email, Teams, telephone messages, meeting requests, responding where appropriate and/or briefing the CE. 

• Manage the CE’s diary proactively and in line with their priorities; ensuring they are fully briefed for all internal and external meetings and events. 

• Exercise judgement, flexibility, tact and sensitivity in time management and in managing potential diary conflicts, having due regard for AdviceUK priorities. 

• Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times, managing electronic and paper-based information systems in line with GDPR.Collate, input and circulate important information to defined stakeholders. 

• Be responsible for the CE’s travel arrangements and meetings, including coordinating travel, accommodation, and itineraries. 

• Represent the views of the CE to colleagues and others accurately through clear communication. 

1.2 Assist with budget and expenditure management for the CE, including submission of monthly expenses 

1.3  Assist the CE in their line management of staff by co-ordinating performance  reviews within defined timelines; ensuring agreed training and development  actions are delivered in liaison with the HR team. 

1.4 Draft correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting agendas as  requested by the CE 

1.5  Maintain accurate and organised digital and physical files that are  appropriately accessible to relevant staff. 

1.6  Log CE interactions with members and stakeholders on Salesforce, ensuring that any further action is taken by CE or relevant staff 

2. Senior Leadership Team (SLT) support 

2.1  Organise meetings, agendas and – where in-person  – book rooms and catering for SLT Meetings and Monthly Managers meeting. Where relevant, ensure papers, reports etc are circulated on time. 

2.2  Support SLT to ensure required reporting is produced effectively and on time e.g. quarterly review of annual plan, key performance indicators 

2.3  Ensure decisions made and actions agreed at these meetings are documented so SLT can ensure they are implemented. 

2.4 Take ownership for specific cross team projects where requested. 

3. Governance support for AdviceUK Board and its subsidiaries  

3.1 Schedule and organise Board and committee meetings 

3.2 Prepare and circulate agendas, papers, and minutes 

3.3 Maintain effective relationships with the Chair and trustees and ensure they are supported to deliver their voluntary role effectively 

3.4 Support trustee recruitment and onboarding as required 

3.5 Ensure effective governance record keeping 

3.6 Support the CE as Company Secretary to ensure statutory records and annual reporting is up to date 

3.7 Maintain effective relationships with funders and other supporters who can provide free meeting space for in-person Board and other meetings 

3.8 Ensure annual Board diversity and skills audits are undertaken and agreed actions implemented in collaboration with HR Manager 

3.9 Support the CE in attending all AdviceUK subsidiaries’ meeting and ensuring  AdviceUK’sBoard is kept informed of their progress and performance. 

4. General responsibilities 

4.1 Ensure you effectively communicate AdviceUK’s vision, mission and objectives to staff, members and external stakeholders. 

4.2 Ensure you demonstrate AdviceUK’s values and behaviours in all aspects of your work. 

4.3 Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders including staff trustees; members, partners and suppliers.

4.4 With support from your manager, deliver your agreed personal objectives and undertake any agreed development or training. 

4.5 Maintain a strong understanding of our members and the advice sector more generally, by reading internal reports; accessing relevant data reports; following our social media channels and, where possible, attending member and other relevant events. With the agreement of your line manager, ensure you make time to speak to members and visit their services. 

4.6 Adhere at all times to AdviceUK’s policies and procedures. 

4.7 Carry out any reasonable duties compatible with the post assigned by your line manager.

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Floating Support Worker to join our Stopover Supported Housing team in Worthing.

Stopover provides the only female-specific supported housing for young women in Brighton & Hove and West Sussex. The service offers a pathway from high to low levels of support, giving young women aged 16–25 a safe and stable environment in which to rebuild their lives and move toward independence.

You will work primarily within our low-level floating support project, supporting young women who have often experienced trauma, abuse, mental health challenges, and housing instability. Your role will be to build consistent, trusting professional relationships and support residents in developing confidence, life skills and resilience.
