Job Title: Night Concierge

Location: This role is based across two locations around 30 minutes from each other in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC)

Salary: £23,700 (Full Time Equivalent)

Shift Pattern: 33 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, shifts are overnight on a rolling rota ranging between 21:00-09:00, working on average 3 days a week which may mean weekly hours vary slightly. You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota, in line with the needs of the service.

About the Role

We’re looking for a calm, reliable and friendly Night Concierge  to join our team based in RBKC (Royal Borough Kensington and Chelsea) to support our residents who have multiple needs including with daily living, mental health, substance and alcohol use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming and well run environment overnight, offering reassurance and practical support to residents when they need it most. This role is key to ensuring our services remain secure and responsive throughout the night. You’ll carry out regular safety checks, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and provide helpful handovers to the day team. You’ll also support residents with any queries, maintain clear records, and help keep the environment clean and safe. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring our buildings are safe by monitoring, completing welfare checks and responding affectively and appropriately to emergencies
• Maintaining professionalism and kindness with visitors, attending to calls, managing deliveries and ensuring great communication with the team
• Providing clear morning handovers with key updates on residents, AINMs, incidents, or safeguarding concerns
• Remain alert and monitor CCTV throughout the shift
• Working with the wider team to make sure any urgent issues are picked up and followed through
• Adapting to service needs to support risk assessments, safeguarding checks, and service standards
• Supporting residents to build confidence and independence, contributing to a psychologically informed space where everyone is treated with respect and dignity
• Noticing when someone might be struggling with their physical or mental health, and taking prompt action to prevent escalation
• Helping to keep the environment clean and welcoming from tidying communal spaces to reporting repairs and completing admin tasks accurately and sensitively

About You

We’re looking for someone who understands the importance of compassion, routine, and safety especially at night and who’s ready to make a difference in a calm, consistent way. Whether you’ve worked in supported housing before or bring transferable skills from another role, what matters most is if you’re dependable, care about people, and want to make a difference during quieter hours. Furthermore we look for:

• Ability to work independently and taking responsibility for the night service
• You will require excellent communication skills with residents, colleagues and external partners to build positive and respectful relationships

• You have the ability to stay calm and supportive in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
• Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands and needs of the service. For example, Provide an emergency on call service as and when required in case of emergency

• Ability to take a compassionate, non judgmental approach when helping others

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Assisting the wider team to deliver marketing strategies and plans for IOP priority projects.
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation.
• Acting as a brand ambassador and ensure that all materials are designed in accordance with the IOP’s brand guidelines and visual identity.
• Supporting the delivery and maintenance of high quality, effective offline and online marketing communications materials that meet set objectives and targets, adhere to brand guidelines and deliver consistent messages.
• Applying creative thinking to support the wider team and assist with developing new promotional opportunities.

• Copywriting, editing and proofing a range of online and offline marketing communications materials.

How will I be working?

We work in a flexible, trust‑based way through our How We Work model. This gives individuals and teams the independence to choose how, when and where they work best, while recognising that some in‑person collaboration is important for impact especially from an operational standpoint.

You’ll be assigned a base office, which can also be your chosen place of work. Purpose of the Job

As the Individual Giving Officer, you will support the Individual Giving Managers developing our individual giving programmes, including acquisition through face to face, digital and direct mail channels and innovate within the space. Duties & Responsibilities

1. Supporting the Individual Giving Managers with acquisition and retention activities. 
2. Taking a proactive role in supporter stewardship 
3. Insight and Evaluation 

Campaign Management – Supporter Acquisition and Retention  

• Help deliver a calendar of activities across digital and traditional channels in line with agreed budget targets  
• Campaign manage supporter updates from inception to completion including data selection, creative, print and post-campaign analysis  

Supporter Stewardship  

• Be proactive in refining and improving supporter stewardship processes and assist with updating related policies as required  
• Support the supporter care team with queries where required  
• Take a lead in updating and monitoring the Fundraising complaints log  

Developing in Legacy giving programme 

• Support in the development of an effective legacy acquisition and stewardship programme.  

Insight & Evaluation 

•  Produce post-campaign reports and make recommendations on refining approaches to improve overall performance 
•  Monitor Supporter attrition levels and implement measures to mitigate drop-offs  

Collaboration  

• Work with Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Manager on new income-generation opportunities  
• Work with the Marketing team to maximise opportunities utilising social media platforms  

General  

• Understanding of the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practice, data protection and other relevant legislation, guidance and good practice 

Essential Criteria 

• Proven track record of campaign management across Individual Giving, across both acquisition and retention methods. 
• Previous experience of creating supporter journeys that have reduced attrition rates and increased supporter engagement. 
• Experience of using supporter databases for audience segmentation and insight. 
• Experience of supporter (or customer) care and managing queries and complaints. 
• Good numeracy and Excel skills. 
• Understanding of the regulatory environment for fundraising, including data protection, codes of fundraising practice and Gift Aid. Not essential but please state if you have experience with Gambling Protection laws and regulations (including LCCP). 
• Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, and to work independently within a small team. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.  
• A passion for fighting food waste and food inequality.

You will have experience of client-facing administrative work within a mental health setting, awareness of safeguarding and risk management considerations and the confidence to communicate effectively with a wide range of people with varying mental health needs. This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK’s IT team as our Senior IT Support Engineer. The Policy and Campaigns Manager leads ADUK in championing reforms that pave the way for better access for all disabled people partnered with a highly trained assistance dog. Through dynamic campaigns and impactful initiatives, this role is pivotal to how ADUK amplifies the voices of those whose lives are transformed by these life changing dogs, ensuring that their rights are protected for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Executive Director (ED), continue to develop a compelling case for taking a standards-based approach to the training and welfare of assistance dogs.
• Gather, analyse and apply robust evidence to strengthen ADUK’s credibility, influence and voice on key policy and campaigning issues.
• Work with the ED to identify and progress opportunities for ADUK and its members to engage with policymakers, regulators and other decision-makers, and to support positive policy change.
• Develop and deliver written and in-person reports and briefings for different audiences, including politicians, policy officials, and other decision-makers.
• Collaborate with the ED and Head of Education and Allyship to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
• Lead, manage and convene the ADUK Advisory Panel, ensuring it operates effectively and informs ADUK’s policy and campaigning work.
•  Monitor legislation and policy developments relevant to assistance dogs and dog welfare and communicate these as appropriate to members.
• Support the ED with the delivery of ADUK’s policy function, including the preparation of policy statements, briefing papers, media responses, and submissions to consultations and inquiries.
• Provide informed policy advice to the ED on priority issues affecting ADUK and its members.
• Represent ADUK externally, articulating its policy positions at meetings, events and forums, where appropriate.

The person who currently leads ADUKs education and training work is moving into an exciting new role within our team. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Role Purpose:

Working closely with the Director of Programmes to manage and help develop a portfolio of funds across Access’s enterprise grant, blended finance and capacity building work, the role holder will be the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of social investors, enterprise grant providers and other organisations funded by Access.

It is anticipated that this role holder may particularly specialise in the management of enterprise development funds, and those that are more local (place-based) throughout England.

The role will balance responsibilities including supporting and assessing funding proposals, managing performance via regular data submission and meetings, providing support from within and beyond Access’s own team, supporting peer learning between delivery partners and seeking to ensure that lessons and experience across Access’s programmes are maximised.

You will be part of a small organisation of around 15 people that take a flexible, collaborative and trust-based approach to work.

Key Responsibilities:

 Relationship Management

• Be the day to day point of contact for a portfolio of organisations who are applying for funding and/or delivering Access’s programmes.
• Build strong productive and supportive working relationships with delivery partners, in a spirit of collaborative endeavour and learning.
• Maintain comprehensive and clear records on Access’s systems of the status of the relationship and any key questions or issues which are currently being addressed.
• Seek to build an understanding of the underling impact of the delivery of our funds on the work of the charities and social enterprises they exist to support.

Performance Management

• Following an agreed pattern and schedule, regularly meet and speak to the delivery partners to receive updates on performance, and key issues.
• Ensure robust financial management of funds, including monitoring deployment targets of partners, managing budgets and the process for drawing funds from Access.
• Ensure that regular performance data is submitted to a high quality and in an agreed format with each delivery partner. Perform checks to ensure accuracy and check understanding with the delivery partner.
• Ensuring the uploading of data into Access’s management systems and producing the required performance reports for internal and external use.
• Use this performance data to analyse performance within each delivery partner and across the portfolio, including supporting the publication of a quarterly dashboard. Work closely with colleagues to identify trends and understand reasons for those trends.
• Work with delivery partners to address areas of under-performance, escalating issues where necessary to the Director of Programmes and Access committees.

Guidance and Support

• Use performance data and insight from different partners within the portfolio to identify opportunities to support partners with, for example, peer support around areas of good practice.
• Offer expertise within Access and across partner organisations to support delivery partners in particular aspects of their work.
• Where challenges are common across many delivery partners, work with colleagues and the Director of Programmes to develop shared solutions, tools, or learning resources which might address those challenges.
• Support the design and delivery of external events, including peer-learning events.

Facilitating and supporting decision making

• Reviewing and co-developing plans and proposals in collaboration with partners.
• Writing papers including assessment papers for Access committees, presenting clear information and context to aid understanding and decision making.
• Present analysis based on performance data and qualitative insight to inform decisions within the team about ongoing relationships with delivery partners.
• Actively participating in the peer-review of assessment papers produced by other colleagues in the Programmes team.

Supporting learning and programme design

• From data and insight gained through performance management, work with colleagues across Access to identify common themes within the portfolio to aid Access’s learning and influencing objectives.
• Work with the Director of Impact and Evaluation to analyse performance data and make it available for publishing in various forms.
• Based on learning gathered across the portfolio within the Programme team and across all of Access, work with the Director of Programmes to identify how programmes can be improved and developed.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience of managing complex relationships with multiple stakeholders, of setting and monitoring KPIs, holding delivery partners to account and seeking continual performance improvement.
• Familiarity with using Excel, and databases and/or CRM systems for managing large quantities of data, including bulk uploading and creating reports to aid analysis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, The Premises Officer will be responsible for the security of the building and the safety of staff and learners, when on duty. The post is to cover evening shifts at the school, 5-10pm during the term dates and various additional hours to cover annual leave out of term dates, including the weekends.

Main Duties/Responsibilities 

• Set up studios as required, directed by the Operations Manager or the Curriculum Manager. 
• As directed, maintains the security of the School and the safety applying the closed down procedure at the end of each day , students and staff have safe access, unexpected visitors and contractors show identification and sign a visitor book; reports all incidents e.g. security breaches, threatening behaviour, theft to the Operations Manager or the most senior officer on duty. 
• Ensure all of the facilities, studios and teaching spaces are prepared ready for each class throughout the School's opening hours e.g. putting away equipment, cables, turning off heaters, clearing studios of rubbish, emptying bins, any cleaning as required during operational hours. 
• Assumes full responsibility for the building and the safety of students in the absence of more senior staff, contacting the Key Holder (Operations Manager/Head of School) in the case of an emergency. 
• Assists the Operations Manager with minor repairs as required. 
• Assists with the delivery, unpacking and storing of stock and stores. 
• Operate the school Art Shop and sell a range of art materials to students at designated hours, and refreshments to students in the evenings and at weekends, if required. 
• Handles cash accurately, including use of cash tills and credit card payments, maintaining security of cash and stock at all times. 
• Assist and contribute to key school events including operational tasks related to them such as setting up exhibitions, and technical support for tutors in using IT facilities for teaching and learning equipment. 
• General administrative and operational duties including taking payments from students for fees and materials, using the school MIS system to enrols students, ensuring that all details are inputted correctly to ensure accurate record keeping and check course information on the school website and make necessary updates. 
• To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, as directed by the Head of School.

The World Obesity Federation is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our MAPPS project team as a Health Systems Co-Ordinator.   This innovative MAPPS project aims to improve obesity care and prevention in health systems through improved evidence generation, coalition building, and policy engagement.

The selected candidate will:

• Support our MAPPS programme of gathering intelligence on in-country healthcare systems and practices for obesity policy, prevention and care
• Support the fulfilment of global deliverables of the MAPPS project, in which we collect data, conduct data analysis, draft report cards and infographics, coordinate academic paper(s) and briefings, and feed into key WOF reports
• Support the fulfilment of national MAPPS deliverables that will include liaising with local consultants in key ‘deep dive’ countries and organising multisectoral roundtables.
