What you’ll do

You will join an innovative intervention service delivered in partnership with the London Borough of Ealing. You will provide evidence-based interventions to children and young people with moderate mental health needs, using approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed and mentalization models. You will deliver individual and group work with young people and parents/carers, joint work with professionals, and have supervisory responsibilities for Wellbeing Practitioners.

You will also contribute to consultations and training for multi-agency professionals, supporting a collaborative approach to mental health in schools and the community.

What you’ll bring

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled mental health practitioner with a strong foundation in therapeutic interventions and a commitment to supporting children, young people, and families within community-based or school settings.

Essential skills and experience:

• Recognised qualification and experience in a core profession, including therapeutic work with children and adolescents.
• Experience in assessing and delivering interventions for children and young people in community or school settings, particularly complex cases.
• Knowledge and application of trauma-informed and neurodiversity-informed approaches, with a strong focus on safeguarding young people.
• Experience of working cross-culturally, with the ability to consider cultural factors in clinical practice.
• Ability to provide clinical supervision to Wellbeing Practitioners.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Key details

Hours: full-time (35 hours per week): usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.

Salary: £48,204 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.

Location: Greenford Service Centre (Oldfield Lane South, Ravenor Park, UB6 9LB), and occasionally at Anna Freud (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). 3-4 days per week working onsite at Greenford.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior IT Technician to oversee IT support services and project-related activities across a number of our successful secondary academies in Greenwich, Bexley, Thurrock and Havering.

As a roaming technician, you will provide flexible support to cover short-term absences, vacancies, or to offer additional assistance as needed. This approach ensures the continued delivery of high-quality, ITIL-aligned IT services to our customers.

You will be providing support to Harris Academy Falconwood, Harris Academy Greenwich, Harris Academy Riverside, Harris Academy Rainham and Harris Rainham Sixth Form, Harris Academy Chafford Hundred, and Harris Academy Ockendon.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality technical IT support, advice and guidance to staff, students and head office employees where necessary
• Ensuring IT Support needs are logged appropriately on the Service Management system, retaining ownership of IT support tickets and ensuring users are kept updated
• Ensuring that IT support tickets are resolved within the target resolution time
• Re-routing and/or escalting IT support tickets to the appropriate team as necessary
• Identifying, implementing and documenting workarounds for desktop related problems within the Knowledgebase.
• Identifying recurring IT incidents and performing root cause analysis to identify the underlying cause
• Notifying key contacts within the Federation and Academies under your care on detection of a major incident affecting the service or our ability to deliver a service

The Purpose of the Role
The Social Media Content Producer will focus on developing creative content that drives reach and engagement across social channels. Working on integrated campaigns while also driving evergreen pipelines, they will be help deliver on our UK ambitions to position IRC as the go-to humanitarian NGO protecting people forced to flee conflict and crisis. 

The Social Media Content Producer will produce and disseminate compelling content (with a focus on short-form, straight-to-social videos and other multimedia formats) that will grow the IRC’s brand online, engage a loyal following, and ultimately help encourage audiences to support IRC UK’s work.  

The role sits across our key social channels, including both B2C (Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook and TikTok) and B2B (LinkedIn), helping managing what we publish and when. As part of IRC’s Global Digital Engagement team, they will work with multiple collaborators, across markets, to identify, craft, package up, publish and amplify stories that can live across platforms, with real potential to engage the right people at the right time. 

The ideal candidate thrives in storytelling that drives social engagement. They will bring a deep understanding of what makes content perform—while still staying true to IRC’s core mission and values—and an appetite for proactively staying across cultural moments and social innovations.

They will have experience generating social-first ideas, editing social video, graphics, and copy writing for social. They will have their fingers on the pulse when it comes to trial and experimentation, with strong interest in how and why brands such as the IRC could engage social influencers. Bringing a passion for social analytics and measurement, they will also understand the nuances of B2B versus B2C content.

Social Media Content Creation (50%) 
•  Partner with communications and advocacy colleagues to create social media content that responds to the news or trending conversations. 
•  Draft social media posts, writing captions, copy for graphics, video scripts and other social media material as needed.
•  Produce and build other forms of multimedia content, such as but not limited to Instagram stories and social media graphics. 
•  In line with our ethical storytelling guidelines, champion the voices of refugees and asylum seekers, and ensure our outputs reflect the IRC’s DEI values and are inclusive and accessible.  
•  Localise and adapt content from Global Teams as well as other IRC markets to ensure our content is suitable for UK channels. 

Day-to-day Social Media Channel Management (Proactive and Reactive) (40%) 

•  With the support of the Senior Manager - Digital Engagement, support the tactical delivery of our existing social media strategy, with a focus on how we build profile, reach and engagement through social channels. 
•  Maintain IRC UK’s social media annual calendar, with a longer-term view on what key campaigns and moments we should go out on and why. Bring this longer-term view to quarterly communications planning sessions. 

Reporting, optimizing, learning and innovating (10%) 
•  Support the Senior Manager – Digital Engagement to report on the performance of social content and make recommendations on how we might optimise going forwards. 
•  Horizon scan and stay across the latest innovations, trends and developments in social media that might create risks or opportunities for IRC UK. 
•  When it makes sense for the IRC, jump on these trends/innovations - bringing a creative mind and a willingness to experiment with new content and storytelling techniques. To include how we might engage social influencers, when, on what and why.

Person Specification

Essential
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
•  Proven understanding of using social media – in particular LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky and Tik Tok to build profile and influence UK audiences.
•  Experience in Video Production, Film, Journalism, Communications, Social Media, Digital Marketing or equivalent degree or training. 
•  Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects strongly encouraged.
•  Previous experience with social CMS and publishing tools, such as Sprout Social.
•  First class storyteller and copywriter with strong attention to detail and the ability to produce compelling written content.

The applicant will be expected to take on a variety of responsibilities associated with supporting our national membership of PSHE education teachers and other professionals. This will include fielding phone and emailed member queries in a timely and friendly fashion and logging queries and activities on our membership database. The role will also include supporting the organisation and administration of the office, including processing memberships and payments, and maintaining and updating our database of contacts, supporting online training event bookings and logistics as well as supporting the team as required.

Terms of Reference

The post is offered on a full time basis, on a permanent contract with a six-month probationary period. The salary will be £28,500.

At the PSHE Association, we believe in a healthy work-life balance. That is why we offer a nine-day fortnight working pattern, giving our team every other Friday off (in other words a long weekend twice a month). We believe this gives employees more time to recharge and more time for what matters to them. This shorter working week benefit (equivalent to 32 hours per week on full pay) kicks in once employees have successfully completed three months of their probationary period, with a standard 35-hour working week in place up until that point.

Position: S11373 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home base, Bedfordshire, however frequent travel will be required as part of this role (to include community visits, team meetings, and other work-related meetings).

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach in the East of England, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Supporting newly diagnosed stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

· Supporting a diverse caseload including anyone experiencing communication or cognitive difficulties

· Providing support via a combination of face-to-face visits, telephone calls, emails or letters, and digital methods (such as video calls).

· Using a person-centred and person first approach to provide specific, tailored information, advice, and support to stroke survivors and stroke carers.

· Empowering stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to live life well after stroke.

· Working with other health and social care professionals across the stroke pathway to ensure high quality support.

About You

You will have experience in:

· Working with people within a caring profession or other caring capacity.

· Maintaining accurate records using IT skills and database systems.

· Effective caseload management and using a flexible working approach.

· Using excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of people.

This role requires extensive travel across the local service area to visit people at home and in community settings and also travel further afield for team and Locality meetings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

The Income Generation Directorate at Shelter comprises of the five departments, delivering a mature fundraising programme that has seen continuous year on year diversity and growth. The directorate generates over £48m gross income each year, of which a high percentage is unrestricted.
