Oasis Southampton City Farm is a community focused registered charity working in Southampton. We provide a range of supportive, wellbeing boosting, and nature-based activities for our communities, which include young people and adult learners with disabilities.

We are looking for a Community Gardening Assistant who will support the Farm Lead and community development lead for Southampton in delivering the vision for the farm, the oasis academies, and its wider community by supporting the growth of the farms garden project, as well as community gardens across the city. These tasks will include:

 · Delivering garden based educational and wellbeing boosting activities

· Working alongside our volunteers, young people, and adults with learning disabilities to care for the garden by planting, watering, and sowing.

· To work with Oasis Academies across the city, as well as partner organisations, to support the creation of community garden spaces to boost wellbeing across the city.

The Communications Officer will play a critical role in contributing to and delivering The Phoenix Way’s communications

objectives. They will increase public awareness of the challenges faced by Black and Global Majority communities,

highlight the work of our partners, and influence wider change in the funding sector.

This is a dynamic and varied role, requiring a strategic thinker with excellent storytelling, advocacy, and stakeholder

Increase Public Awareness

• Develop and implement a communications strategy that frames the lived experiences of racial inequality through

compelling data, case studies, and human stories.

• Commission and manage research and data-gathering projects (e.g. £10k budget for Equity in Philanthropy report).

We are seeking three Development Officers, two in London with their own strand of focus and one for the East region as a generalist. Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families and children.  Our team of trained staff and volunteers provide regular emotional support and practical help to families in their own homes and in groups throughout the community.

• Early Service Leavers (ESLs) registered on CTP FHP
• Med Discharge requiring additional employment support.
• “At Risk”2 Employment Support Programme (ESP) Service Leavers (SLs).
• “At Risk” Core Resettlement Programme (CRP) Service Leavers (SLs).

The Employment Advisor (Community) South West and South Wales will do this by providing employment & job finding support, access to wider support agencies and, when required, individual needs assessments.

About the role:

This role is based in our Islington office with the flexibility of hybrid working, travel will also be required to other VS offices across London.

As a Children & Young People's Caseworker, you will be required to:

• Conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments and ensure each CYP receives an individual tailored support package that fully meets their identified needs, including safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Provide one to one support to children and young people living in families affected by domestic abuse.
• Effectively manage a caseload of different risk level cases of approx. 12-15 young people and provide specialist support to reduce the risk and increase safety
• Review the assessment of risk on an ongoing basis, ensuring appropriate and immediate action is taken in respect of any CYP facing significant harm, making the necessary referrals to MARAC and local safeguarding processes as required given the legal framework relating to the protection of children and the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Children's Board.
• To consult with and involve children and young people in making decisions about themselves and the development of the service.
• Establish links with relevant statutory partners in Social Care, Education, Health, Police and Housing, with the intention of supporting children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse. Attend meetings as required.
• To advocate on behalf of children and young people with experience of domestic abuse to ensure the diverse needs of children and young people using the service are met.

You will need to have the following essential skills:

• Experience of working directly with vulnerable children and young people aged 4 - 17, on a one to one basis, with a proven ability to work in creative and appropriate ways to engage with children and young people
• Experience with assessing risk and taking appropriate action to safeguard children and young people experiencing domestic abuse.
• An understanding of the current issues for children and young people experiencing crime, domestic abuse and relationship abuse
• Experience of delivering effective multi-agency and partnership work, including building relationships with statutory and voluntary CYP service providers
• Effective organisational skills, including experience with planning, prioritising, managing crises and a caseload, and maintaining accurate and confidential case records
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, databases, internet and Outlook

Supporting over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families annually, Acorns Children’s Hospice is a vital lifeline for families across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire during unimaginably difficult times.

Palliative care for children aged 0–18 is delivered at Acorns’ hospices in Birmingham, Worcester, and Walsall, as well as in family homes and other community settings. Acorns’ holistic, tailored approach is designed to meet each child’s clinical, emotional, cultural, religious, and spiritual needs.

Corporate fundraising at Acorns is on an exciting growth journey, with ambitions to increase income from £800K to £1M in the next two years. The team is known for its creativity and drive, and the charity has built strong partnerships with high-profile brands including Aston Villa FC, Pinsent Masons, and Tippers. This role offers a warm and well-developed patch, a supportive team culture, and space to be creative in how you grow and uplift corporate partnerships. You’ll be the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of established partners across Birmingham and the Black Country, focusing on stewardship, renewals, and smart uplifts.

While the focus is primarily account management (around 75%), you’ll also contribute to new business through activities like COTY pitches. As Corporate Fundraising Manager, you will:

• Lead the stewardship and growth of existing corporate partnerships, using creative and strategic methods to increase value and longevity

• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on new business opportunities
• Take an active role in planning and delivering key corporate events, such as golf days and black-tie dinners
• Contribute to cultivation plans for senior leaders within corporate partners
• Use data and insight to report on progress and inform partnership development

Ideal skills and experience:

• Strong corporate fundraising or account management background, ideally with experience managing partnerships in the £30K–£50K+ range
• Confident steward and communicator, able to build rapport and deliver excellent supporter journeys
• Strategic thinker with a flair for finding growth opportunities within existing partnerships
• Comfortable pitching and presenting to corporate audiences at all levels
• Excellent organiser who can juggle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
• Willingness to work out-of-hours at events and maintain regular hospice presence
