The Route to a Million Campaign

This is an exciting time for First Give, as we seek to expand and diversify our fundraising streams into Corporate and HNWI. To support this, we are launching the Route to A Million campaign in March, aiming to raise an additional £1.5 million over the next 3 years on top of our forecast income. The campaign is supported by a newly recruited campaign board, and the new Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships will spearhead the work required to achieve this target.

Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and entrepreneurial Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to supercharge First Give’s next phase of income growth. Brief role description ​

The People and Systems Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support to the People Team, with responsibility for recruitment and onboarding of new employees, maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating benefits, and acting as the first point of contact for employee queries. The role holds ownership of HR administration, including the production of HR paperwork, and serves as the day-to-day generalist HR contact for all employees on behalf of the team.​

​In addition, the People and Systems Administrator plays a key role in supporting the implementation of the Charity’s HR strategy and associated projects, providing robust support to the Head of People and the People Team Advisor and wider stakeholders across the organisation. ​The role requires a high level of IT competence and confidence in working with HR systems and digital tools, ensuring data accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement of people processes. Some of your responsibilities as a People and Systems Administrator will include:

Corporate Parnterships Manager

The Biochemical Society are seeking a Head of Sales and Licensing, on a 2-year Fixed Term contract on a part time basis (0.6 FTE), to support the Biochemical Society Publishing and Sales functions.

You will lead, with support, on the development and delivery of an exciting new Women at Risk (WaR) project seeking to support women at risk of rough sleeping, homelessness and exploitation. The successful candidate will be offered an annual salary of £40,000 plus 10% employer-contributed pension. Please note that Opportunity Green has fixed salary scales, with the possibility of step increases with strong performance. Join our dynamic and supportive team as an Outreach Worker in the Rough Sleeping Team, where you will play a pivotal role in tackling homelessness and supporting people who are experiencing rough sleeping to rebuild their lives. This is a unique opportunity to work with a forward-thinking local authority and a committed group of partners to bring about meaningful change in one of London’s most diverse and vibrant boroughs.

As an Outreach Worker in Complex Needs, you will be responsible for a caseload of clients who are residing in the Emergency Bed Spaces in London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) along with clients in TA and some who may be rough sleeping. Ensuring delivery of a high-quality service to individuals experiencing rough sleeping. We work in a compassionate and trauma informed way, ensuring we are promoting client independence and in a client-led manner. Your skills will be vital in supporting operational effectiveness and the team to engage with people who need help most.

You will work closely with the hostel services, local authority partners, statutory and voluntary services, and key stakeholders to ensure an integrated, person-centred approach to tackling rough sleeping. LBTH prides itself in great partnership relations across the numerous stakeholders supporting our clients, that is key to Tower Hamlets’ approach.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Caseload: Caseload of clients who are allocated daily. Providing a person-centred approach to working with clients through: Support needs assessments, Risk assessments, referrals to services, and updating relevant parties on progress of client cases
• Shifts: Planning and conducting outreach shifts on early/mid/late basis on the streets of LBTH to identify and support clients who are rough sleeping. Duty shifts at least once a week supporting clients who arrive for support, manning the team inbox, responding or forwarding messages to the appropriate team members.
• Partnership working: Collaborate with local authority teams, hostels, external agencies, and community partners to provide coordinated, high-quality support to rough sleepers. Attending, organising and chairing Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Meetings, external partner shifts
• Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure a holistic and inclusive response to homelessness in the borough.
• Service development: Work closely with managers and stakeholders to ensure that KPI targets and service standards are me and positive outcomes for people experiencing rough sleeping.

Coach Core is an education and employment charity that improves the life-chances of under-represented young people across the UK, who experience barriers, discrimination and a lack of opportunities. We help people age 16-24 develop the skills, confidence and knowledge to unlock long-term employment opportunities through the power of sports apprenticeships. We are seeking an experienced, events fundraiser who organising events and stewarding supporters so that we can raise vital funds for under-represented young people.We are looking for someone who brings energy, creativity and exceptional organisation to help us deliver events that inspire, engage and raise vital funds for young people across the UK.

In this pivotal role, you’ll join our friendly Fundraising & Marketing team and take the lead on planning, promoting and delivering our challenge events programme – including the iconic TCS London Marathon and Coach Core’s own Sports Days, Golf Day and a 24hr National Three Peaks Challenge.

In order to make the most of the opportunity our redeveloped hall and rooms provide we are seeking to appoint a Venue Manager. We are looking for a personable and energetic individual, with experience in marketing and business development, to help us realise our vision, which puts All Saints Hall back at the heart of community life, both in all that we seek to do in service of the community – especially young people, children, families and those who are marginalised – and as a flexible and attractive space to hire for conferences and classes, parties, weddings and more. 

Whilst the Venue Manager’s focus will, primarily, be on the Hall and its site, it is important that the individual integrates well into the wider staff team. It is also important that our new facilities are seen as one (albeit important) part of the greater whole. The Venue Manager will work closely with the Parish Manager and also our Property Manager, who will be a great resource for the successful candidate, knowing the building inside out.

It will be key for the person who is appointed to this role to understand the importance of mixed usage, for church and community, for outreach and for hires, and the successful candidate will be someone who sees this crucial mix as an opportunity and not a burden. Those already exploring using the Hall, for a range of different activities, are telling us that this is a great selling point, to have beautiful contemporary space, which has been invested in both for hire and for community work.

We very much hope that All Saints’ Hall becomes a busy hub, and it is envisaged that the Venue Manager will build relationships with suppliers, cleaning and security contractors and other assistance (including opening and closing) for times and events where that is appropriate.

Recognising that the role requires flexibility and a range of skills, we would be prepared to explore the possibility of a job share for the right candidates.

Main Responsibilities

Marketing

• Developing and successfully executing a marketing strategy for the venue, building relationships with potential hirers and community groups.
• Managing the All Saints’ Hall website and developing a social media presence.
• Managing the launch of the redeveloped hall for maximum impact.
• Growing the reputation of the venue for high quality hire locally and more widely.

Business Development

• Growing and developing relationships with both event and longer-term hirers.
• Networking in the local community to raise the profile of the venue.
• Building relationships with approved caterers and other event conduits.
• Working with other staff to build meaningful community partnerships relating to venue usage and hire, to further All Saints Church’s mission and ministry.
• Communicate and liaise with the Hall Marketing and Operations Committee, making best use of members’ experience and expertise.

Venue Hire

• Managing the tensions of seeking to ensure the venue is used for social action and outreach, community use and event hires.
• Increasing income for usage and hire wherever possible.
• Maximising usage of the whole building (main hall, meeting rooms and gallery).
• Being creative in attracting long-term hirers.
• Being entrepreneurial in working with those planning events to facilitate a good quality experience.
• Managing invoicing.

 Building Management

• Ensuring that the venue complies with all health and safety regulations, policies and procedures.
• Being responsible for risk assessments for use of the venue and for events taking place.
• Managing the cleaning of the venue and turnaround after different hires/events.
• Managing service contracts.
• Working closely with the property manager to manage maintenance requirements and building works.

 General

• Financial budget management.
• Participation in staff meetings, regular supervision meetings with line manager and All Saints’ performance and development process.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the ethos and values of All Saints, and the principles of equal opportunities, both in relation to employment issues and service delivery, and adhere to the policies of the Parochial Church Council.

Person Specification

Essential:

Institutional Donor Manager

Salary: £42,850–£47,130 per year
Location: London – hybrid (three days a week in the office)
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: 9-day fortnight

This role offers the chance to shape and grow an international organisation’s institutional funding portfolio at a pivotal moment in its mission to accelerate climate action. You will build relationships with major donors, lead the development of high-value proposals, and help secure the support needed to deliver programmes that reduce global emissions. If you enjoy turning ideas into fundable projects and working collaboratively across teams, this role will give you scope to make a real impact.

The role
You will develop and manage relationships with government agencies and foundations, identifying opportunities that align with organisational strategy. You’ll lead the full proposal process — from shaping concepts and coordinating colleagues to writing persuasive six- and seven-figure bids.
You will also manage a diverse funding pipeline, support high-quality donor reporting, and help strengthen internal processes that support donor compliance and bid development.

• Significant experience securing institutional or government funding
• Strong understanding of European institutional donors
• Excellent bid-writing ability and clear, confident communication
• Strong numeracy and ability to design and interpret complex budgets
