Role Summary 

The main function of the Careers Coordinator (Work Experience) role is to develop, support and deliver Into Film’s Screen Careers Work Experience programmes. Screen Careers covers film, TV, animation, VFX and games. The postholder will work closely with the Careers Lead, Industry Partnerships Lead and other members of Into Film staff who conceive, create and deliver our Screen Careers Programme.

The Careers Coordinator will primarily manage work experience programmes across the four nations of the UK (outside of the ScreenWorks programme in Northern Ireland) but will also support the careers team with various other deliverables across the programme including but not limited to events with young people, development of resources and training for careers professionals, supporting development of ‘direct to young people’ content, and exhibiting at careers conferences UK-wide. The role will have a focus on reaching those young people who are underserved and under-represented.

Main Responsibilities:

• As directed by the Careers Lead, support the implementation of the Screen Careers Work Experience programmes throughout the UK alongside local activation coordinators.
• Liaise with industry professionals across the four nations to co-deliver work experience programmes.
• Create documentation and resources that can be adapted per location to support work experience programmes.

We are seeking an experienced Associate Trainer to deliver high-quality training and workshops across Northern Ireland on behalf of Ygam. The role is ideal for an experienced trainer, educator or youth practitioner with strong facilitation skills and knowledge of safeguarding, education or public health, who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.  You will be confident working independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.

You will be skilled at adapting training delivery to meet the needs of different audiences and contexts, ensuring sessions are inclusive, engaging and responsive to participant needs.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Delivery 

· Deliver the Ygam portfolio of workshops (online and face to face)

About the Role

The Business Development Officer plays a vital role in strengthening the Refugee Council’s statutory income generation by building strong foundations for sustainable growth. Birth Companions is a national charity supporting women having their babies in very difficult and complex situations. These include mothers in prison; mothers with insecure immigration status; and mothers who have involvement from children’s social care. Their lives are often shaped by deep-rooted, structural factors such as sexism, racism and poverty. These women and their children experience enormous challenges, but often they are not given the support they need, and are treated unfairly. This results in poor outcomes for mothers, and long-term problems for their children.

At Birth Companions we deliver specialist services to improve women’s lives in the here and now. We make sure there’s evidence of what’s going wrong and how to make things right. We work with partners to shape national law, policy and guidance, improve the care given by statutory services and systems, and ensure women’s rights are upheld.

We do this through Birth Companions’ three interlinked areas of work:

- Our specialist services provide support to women and babies, and help us understand what’s happening on the ground.

- Our Lived Experience Programme centres and develops the expertise and power of women who have faced severe disadvantage during pregnancy and motherhood.

- Our Birth Companions Institute holds our work with academics, politicians, policy-makers, journalists and legal partners, and coordinates our campaigns, research, thought-leadership and policy programmes.

The Coordinator: Community Perinatal Services will coordinate and deliver a high quality, trauma-informed service offering specialist emotional and practical support to pregnant women and new mothers for up to 12 months post-birth, who are experiencing multiple disadvantage and living in the community, predominantly in the northeast London area.

The role includes the co-ordination and support of volunteers, who deliver the majority of our birth support service.

Designed by families, for families, The Ark was opened in September 2019 by the Mayor of London. The grounds offer wheelchair accessible outdoor experiences, including a Woodland Walk through a 7-acre nature reserve, a hydrotherapy pool and overnight suites for families to be close to their loved ones. At The Ark we are able to provide Specialist Care and Nursing for babies, children and young people, supporting their full clinical, emotional, social and practical needs. We have created a space where children who are seriously unwell are accepted as they are, safe to play, explore, express themselves and build confidence.

Rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, the charity has had a sustained period of growth over the last two years and we are looking for high quality employees to come and be a part of that success.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Fundraising Data and Operations Manager role sits within the Supporter Engagement (Public Fundraising) team which is part of the wider Income Generation and Communications directorate. It is a pivotal role as it’s at the centre of all our Fundraising data, payments and supporter-related processes.

The role plays a vital function in our income generation, supporter cultivation and  marketing activities. As such, the postholder is expected to be a proactive enabler for the team.

Job Title – Financial Education Programme Manager & Workshop Facilitator

About you and the role

This role comes at a pivotal time for Chefs in School and will be key to supporting our vision and ambitions for the next four year strategic period. 

You will have significant experience in monitoring and evaluating programmes in a charity, non-profit, or social enterprise setting. As this is a standalone role with no direct reports, we are looking for a unique professional who is highly strategic but equally happy to roll up their sleeves and be hands-on. You will lead on high-level impact strategy, and you will also be the person designing surveys, managing databases, and directly analyzing the data.

• An Analytical Thinker & Practical Doer: You can confidently clean, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data yourself, translating complex numbers into highly visual, easy-to-digest reports for our team and funders.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading on developing and implementing Chefs in Schools’ evaluation and learning strategy, in line with our Theory of Change.

• Owning and overseeing the impact dashboard

• Ownership for embedding a learning culture, ensuring that timely and actionable insights are generated and fed back into design and delivery to support continuous improvement.

• Using internal data and external research to identify what works, ensuring these insights are shared internally and across the sector in line with our strategic objectives.

• Support delivery teams to collect quantitative and qualitative data using the evaluation toolkit. Ensuring data collection is proportionate and meaningful with high completion rates.

• Support delivery teams to understand how impact data can help to improve and develop programme effectiveness, whilst maintaining quality.

• Lead on the dissemination of findings across the organisation, including presenting at internal meetings and events

• Translating data into clear, evidence-based recommendations to guide decision-making 

• Work across the organisation to ensure our impact is effectively communicated with external audiences.

• Identify future research, evaluation and learning priorities that could strengthen Chefs in Schools’ programmes and contribute to wider sector understanding of effective approaches to improving school food.

• Work with external academics and researchers to commission external evaluations to develop our evidence base and contribute to national and international studies .

Essential Skills and Experience

• MEL Experience: Proven experience in a monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) or impact measurement role within a charity, non-profit, or social enterprise setting.

• Evaluation Design: Confidence designing and implementing practical evaluation frameworks, data collection tools, logic models, or Theories of Change.

• Hands-on Data Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently collect, clean, and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data. You must be highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable managing data platforms.

• Translation of Evidence: A track record of critically appraising evidence and translating findings into actionable, practical recommendations for delivery teams.

• Communication & Reporting: Ability to produce high-quality, highly visual, and engaging reports and presentations tailored to different audiences (e.g., trustees, funders, operational staff).

• Relationship Building: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and support busy operational teams to value and embed data collection.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Sector Knowledge: Knowledge of food systems, school environments, or children and young people’s health and wellbeing.

• External Evaluations: Experience commissioning, managing, or collaborating with external academics and research partners to evaluate programmes.

• Tech & Systems: Familiarity with specific data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) or CRM databases (ours is Beacon) to streamline data capture and reporting.
