What the job involves

We’re looking for two Events and Community Coordinators to join our Events and Community Team, one permanent contract and one fixed term for 12 months. We’re a results-driven team focused on maximising opportunities, reaching ambitious goals, and delivering an outstanding experience for our supporters.

Our team raise funds through a range of activities including:

· our own events (e.g. March for Men)

· virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)

· third party events (e.g. London Marathon)

· Golf Days

· helping community fundraisers who organise their own activity

You’ll be our first point of contact for our fundraisers, providing admin and support through telephone, email, and social media channels. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. From registration to the end of their supporter journey, you'll help motivate during challenges, offer fundraising advice and ensure thanks at the end of a first-class experience.

Whilst each Coordinator has a primary area of responsibility across different types of events, you’ll also work across teams to support where needed during busy periods of activity. This role sits within the Sporting Events sub-team, supporting people taking on third party fundraising events such as the TCS London Marathon, a cycling event or our own event, March for Men. Day-to-day, you’ll manage our inbox and proactively reach out to new fundraisers to offer support and guidance, as well as delivering core processes like thanking, fulfilment and volunteer management in collaboration with other internal teams.

You’ll also work with our Communications teams. This supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. This helps to raise the profile of our fundraising activity, as well as prostate cancer and Prostate Cancer UK.

How and where we work

Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.

Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

We are seeking a strategic, proactive and relationship-focused Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead the growth and delivery of our corporate partnerships’ portfolio. This role sits at the heart of our ambition to expand and diversify corporate income, building high-value, long-term relationships across a range of industries and cementing corporate fundraising as a core income stream for PCR.

PCR is at a key moment with our corporate fundraising activities as we are significantly expanding our engagement with a variety of industries and delivering meaningful strategic partnerships that drive income, raise brand awareness through impact-driven campaigns, and add value to our work through access to relevant services and expertise.

As PCR embarks on its new five-year strategy, this role offers an exciting opportunity to build on existing foundations and lead across the full breadth of corporate engagement – from new business strategy, prospecting and pitching, to developing employee fundraising and awareness activities, managing high-value partnerships, and shaping strategic, multi‑year opportunities.

You will work closely with colleagues in areas such as Marketing & Communications, Events & Community, and Major Donors, and play a central role in identifying cross-team opportunities, leading excellent supporter stewardship and embedding effective partnership management across the charity’s programmes of work. You will be responsible for growing the new business pipeline, developing compelling propositions, managing key corporate relationships and driving cross-team collaboration that enables meaningful engagement and sustained income growth.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in corporate fundraising or partnership development, with a strong track record of securing and managing corporate partnerships, developing new business pipelines, and building relationships across multiple stakeholders and workstreams. As part of representing PCR, the role may involve UK-based travel, including attendance at meetings, conferences, briefings, and key industry events.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development & Pipeline Growth

• Lead the development and delivery of PCR’s corporate new business strategy, identifying, qualifying and prioritising high-value prospects across diverse sectors, including finance, retail, technology, hospitality, manufacturing and professional services.
• Own and manage a structured new business pipeline, ensuring prospects are recorded, stewarded and progressed according to agreed KPIs, income targets and strategic priorities.
• Develop tailored propositions, outreach strategies, cultivation plans and pitch materials that secure interest in Charity of the Year (COTY), strategic partnerships, sponsorship and employee fundraising opportunities.

Corporate Partnership Management & Delivery

• Lead the delivery and account management of high-quality partnership activity across events, campaigns, sponsorships, corporate donations and fundraising initiatives, ensuring partners receive excellent stewardship and clear impact reporting.
• Oversee planning and activation for employee fundraising and engagement activities, working closely with the Events & Community team to maximise partner participation, supporter experience and income.
• Lead the development of proposals, stewardship reports, presentations and corporate-specific content that demonstrate impact, deepen engagement and inspire continued support.
• Establish partnership governance requirements, including creating partnership agreements, managing renewals, tracking financials and reporting progress against milestones.

Cross‑Team Collaboration

• Lead cross-team collaboration with colleagues across PCR to build cohesive supporter journeys, integrated cultivation opportunities and shared approaches to partnership delivery.
• Oversee the development of bespoke fundraising assets, employee engagement materials and corporate-specific supporter journeys.
• Identify potential high‑value prospects within existing public fundraising audiences and internal networks, ensuring warm leads are effectively stewarded.

Corporate Patient Representatives Programme

• Oversee PCR’s growing Corporate Patient Representatives programme, ensuring effective planning, recruitment, scheduling, logistics and feedback processes are in place.
• Ensure high-quality governance, tracking and stewardship of Patient Representatives to strengthen engagement, manage risk and enable sustainable expansion of the programme.

Content Development & Insight Gathering

• Lead the development of corporate-focused case studies and materials, including themes such as workplace health, EDI resource groups, “men’s health in business” and partner-specific stories.
• Use insights from existing and prospective partners to inform product development, partnership offers, event design, stewardship improvements and future income growth.
• Work closely with Marketing & Communications to develop and update PCR’s corporate partnership webpages and create engaging content for social media.

Representing PCR

• Represent the Partnerships Team at corporate meetings, stewarding events, industry networking sessions and cultivation opportunities.
• Help amplify PCR’s mission and vision, contributing to the wider strategy of positioning PCR as a compelling and values‑aligned corporate partner.

Skills and Competencies

Experience

• Significant experience leading and managing corporate fundraising activities including relationship development, partnership or supporter engagement.
• Proven experience researching, assessing and converting prospects into new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships internally and with senior external stakeholders, with the confidence to engage new prospects and nurture established corporate contacts.
• Experience leading or overseeing events, campaigns or employee fundraising activities.

The Senior Legal Counsel is the first port of call for colleagues putting together and advising on new legal arrangements and documenting our leading health partnerships and fundraising activities. The Senior Legal Counsel works with the Foundation’s Legal team in providing legal advice and guidance for the Foundation’s innovative, impact-led programmes and activities, supporting our fundraising team alongside our fundraising compliance manager, and our work with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. This role also assists with varied internal governance and compliance matters. 

Key Responsibilities 

Charitable Partnerships (Impact on Urban Health) 

• Identify relevant legal and compliance considerations on projects and activities within the IoUH team and work with IoUH to put in place appropriate mechanisms or policies to manage issues that are identified. 
• Structure and assist colleagues with drafting and negotiating agreements for a wide variety of charitable partnerships, including commercial contracts, grants, IP licences, novel investment models, revenue-sharing arrangements and data agreements. 
• Act as a thought partner with the team to advise on the structuring, legal risks and strategic implications of partnerships and future opportunities. 
• Maintain and appropriately file correspondence and documentation relating to commercial contracts. 

Fundraising (Charities)

• Identify and advise on relevant legal and regulatory considerations in respect of our fundraising activities and work with our fundraising compliance manager and the fundraising team to ensure our fundraising activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations.
• Drafting and supporting colleagues in negotiating a variety of fundraising agreements, including charity of the year agreements, commercial participation agreements, sponsorship agreements and pledge agreements.
• Advise on relevant governance matters relating to fundraising activities.
• Work closely with our fundraising compliance manager to ensure data protection aspects of our fundraising activities are managed appropriately. 

Procedure and Policy Efficiencies

• Draft, maintain and update our internal guidelines, policies and standard-form documents. 
• Create policy and process efficiencies. 
• Act as deputy data protection lead, supporting the primary data protection lead through providing training to colleagues and ensuring the Foundation’s mandated practice is understood and followed. 

Tailored Partnerships 

• Consider legal considerations, and appropriate processes, for working with certain partners (e.g. regulatory, private gain, data protection, policy), including advising on due diligence procedures and tailoring our standard form templates. 
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders on longer-term projects to change our partnership models to cede power to the communities we work with, whilst balancing this against our charity law obligations. 

Cross-Functional Work 

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including Policy, Influencing & Communications, Data, Evaluation & Learning and the Executive Team to advise on cross-team collaboration, opportunities, issues and risks relating to our charitable partnerships. 
• Assist teams such as Endowment, Systems, and People & Culture on their legal needs, including drafting, negotiating and agreeing documents and being the first port-of-call for a variety of legal issues. 
• Lead on specific projects for either individual directorates or cross-directorate projects. 
• Act as business partner to the Fundraising teams on a variety of issues, including advising and supporting them with drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of fundraising agreements. 
• Act as business partner to the Endowment team, ensuring they have the legal support required for the smooth running of their activities. 

Governance and Legal 

• Act as Company Secretary for the Foundation’s three subsidiary companies. 
• Work with the Foundation’s Legal Director & Company Secretary in advising colleagues on legal and governance matters.  
• Undertake research into specific legal issues or matters of best practice and provide training to Legal team colleagues on these issues. 
• Identify need for, organise and run training sessions on key legal and compliance issues to Foundation staff. 
• Deputise for the Legal Director & Company Secretary when required.

Role purpose

The London Recovery Network Coordinator will provide day-to-day coordination, oversight and development of the Network, ensuring that it operates effectively, inclusively and in line with its strategic objectives.

The postholder will act as a central connecting point between recovery communities, peer-led organisations, treatment providers, commissioners and London-wide partners, supporting collaboration, shared learning and system influence. Background

The London Recovery Network (LRN) brings together individuals and organisations committed to supporting recovery from problematic drug and alcohol use. The Network aims to improve awareness, visibility and connectivity across the recovery landscape, enabling professionals, peers and communities to better understand and share available recovery support across London.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in coordinating, developing and strengthening the London Recovery Network as it continues to grow and progresses towards a more formal, sustainable and potentially standalone organisation.

1. Strategy Delivery and Management

Working closely with the Deputy CEO, you will lead the delivery of CFAB's fundraising strategy, translating strategic priorities into operational plans that support sustainable income growth.

3. Relationship Management and Income Growth

You will oversee donor communications, the supporter newsletter, and recognition processes, ensuring supporters understand the impact of their giving and remain engaged with CFAB.

You will also grow CFAB's challenge events programme, increasing participation, enhancing the supporter experience and developing challenge events as a sustainable source of unrestricted income.

Working collaboratively with the Deputy CEO, Digital Engagement and Outreach Lead, and Policy and Communications Officer, you will develop and deliver digital fundraising campaigns, including Big Give match funding campaigns, and a programme of fundraising events to grow and engage CFAB's supporter base.

4. Team Leadership and Fundraising Operations

You will line manage the Fundraising Coordinator, providing day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to ensure the effective delivery of fundraising operations.

You will oversee prospect research, fundraising administration, supporter stewardship, challenge events, Salesforce management and fundraising reporting, ensuring high standards of performance, accurate data management and effective collaboration across the fundraising function.

5. Governance and Representation

You will help prepare fundraising reports, pipeline updates, income forecasts and performance information for the Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees.

You will ensure fundraising activity complies with relevant legislation, the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR, Gift Aid requirements and organisational policies, maintaining the highest standards of fundraising governance and supporter care.

Role overview 

Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 10,000 adults (25+).

You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their carers, supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community. 

This role will focus on adults (25+), you will be primarily working within the Adult Services Team. However, there will be occasions when you will work across age groups to ensure the best outcomes for our members. 

The role is home-based and ideally you will live within an hour commute of London, within Essex, Kent or Sussex as you will be attending clinics in London and the Southeast as required. There would be occasional travel required across wider areas and nationally including attendance at events, conferences and meetings at our head office in Peterborough. 

The role is full time 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday with working core hours 9am-5pm with some flexibility to cover events evenings/weekends.

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver innovative support across your region to improve health, social, and emotional outcomes for members. 

• Attend specialist clinics to engage with members and professionals. 

• Provide information, advice, and guidance to our adult members and carers, including hard-to-reach communities. 

• Support members to access benefits, services, and resources that promote financial stability, health, and independence. 

• Refer members to Shine’s Health team, internal specialists, or external agencies as appropriate.
