Responsibilities of our Brand Manager:

• This role is responsible for the day-to-day brand management including, critically the embedding of the newly launched brand across the organisation. This includes two important pillars from the original programme scope, the rolling out of the brand language and tone of voice, and development of the brand architecture process and prioritisation
• Daily requests for support and approvals on new pieces of copy and design work require constant action and collaboration both with teams right across the organisation and with external agency partners to ensure we are delivering a coherent, focused and integrated brand to our audiences.

About the Brand & Marketing department:

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
• Our team is responsible for supporting Cats Protection’s organisational goals through enabling vital income generation activity, delivery of consistent cat welfare messaging and driving brand awareness and engagement with key audiences

What we’re looking for in our Brand Manager:

• Significant experience in a brand strategy and activation role
• Charity experience is preferable
• Experience of briefing and collaborating with in house creatives and external agencies
• Experience of working and collaborating closely with multiple teams across a large organisation with competing needs
• Able to manage a heavy and fluctuating workload with competing priorities
• Brand advertising experience and measurement via brand health KPIs e.g. awareness

​The Biochemical Society are seeking a Training Manager, on an 18-month Fixed Term contract to support the Biochemical Society Training programmes.

Training Manager role is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver on agreed strategy across our current and future programme of training events, activities and resources, and plays a key role in taking the Society’s training programme forwards, focusing on the delivery and development of existing training programmes, the creation and implementation of exclusive members-only training opportunities to enhance our membership offering, and for devising and implementing new training courses by working with volunteers to develop appropriate content.

Suitable candidates will have experience delivering income generating science-based training programmes, using Learning Management Systems and have excellent interpersonal skills, working on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Natur am Byth! is Wales' flagship species recovery programme. Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), Natural Resources Wales, Welsh Government, Welsh Government’s Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme, Arts Council Wales and Esmee Fairbairn, Natur am Byth unites nine environmental charities to deliver the country’s largest natural heritage and outreach programme to save species from extinction and reconnect people to nature.

The High Brown Fritillary is the UK’s most threatened butterfly species, with a single colony remaining in Wales, where it is restricted to Old Castle Down and Cwm Alun in the Vale of Glamorgan. As such, the species is highly vulnerable to extinction and is a priority for targeted action through Natur am Byth! as one of a small number of single species focal projects. This post focuses on delivering surveys, monitoring and habitat improvements for High Brown Fritillary in the Alun Valley alongside wider species actions contributing to Natur am Byth! in South Wales. 
 
Job Purpose 

•  Deliver agreed conservation outcomes for the High Brown Fritillary single species project within Natur am Byth! in the Vale of Glamorgan. Lead on the delivery of survey and monitoring work, habitat management, volunteer coordination and liaison with graziers, landowners, farmers, partners and contractors to achieve the necessary habitat management outcomes. 
• Work closely alongside the High Brown Fritillary Project Officer focused on the community engagement outcomes of Natur am Byth!, which complement the conservation outcomes. With volunteering and community engagement a critical part of delivering species recovery and ensuring its legacy, close communication and collaboration is essential to deliver this role effectively. 
•  Deliver targeted habitat management activities and conservation advice, survey and monitoring for wider species outcomes within South Wales. 

 
Main Responsibilities

• Lead conservation action targeting High Brown Fritillary within the Alun Valley through liaison with internal and external partners and stakeholders (including private landowners, commoners, land managers, and NRW). 
• Coordinate and manage site-wide habitat monitoring and assessment for High Brown Fritillary to ensure management activities are delivering successfully. 
• Deliver site advisory visits providing specific ecological advice on habitat management for butterflies and moths to benefit threatened species as part of wider site management objectives.
• Manage targeted habitat improvements for High Brown Fritillary and Adder in the Alun Valley through supervision of habitat management contracts and coordination and delivery of volunteer work parties. 
• Organise and deliver a series of conservation workshops to share and promote good practice in grazing and habitat management techniques for threatened species. 
• Lead and collate GIS mapping of species, habitat and project activities to support project reporting, activity planning and ongoing monitoring. 
• Maintain good working relationships with key landowners & commoners,  securing all relevant permissions to undertake appropriate land management where required and engage them in Natur am Byth! events and outcomes.
• Review Natur am Byth! project objectives and schedule and revise actions to maximise impact for species and key stakeholders for an effective project legacy. 
• Manage the conservation elements of the project budget alongside your line manager, and maintain administrative systems to ensure effective delivery and evaluation of the project.
• Ensure effective health and safety procedures are in place for all participants, including staff, public, volunteers, project partners and other BC staff. 
• Promote and publicise the work of the project through events, presentations, print and social media. 
• Contribute to conservation delivery for species within Natur am Byth! and Butterfly Conservation’s wider work within South Wales in agreement with your line manager.

SBP is a growing organisation with an exciting portfolio of rewilding projects across Scotland. In tandem with ecological recovery, we work to develop nature-based

business models to establish rewilding as an economically viable land use in Scotland.

We deliver immersive Rewilding Experiences and a growing programme of Rewilding Training and Study Tours.

We are seeking a highly organised and financially astute individual, with sales experience, to take operational ownership of our Rewilding Experiences and to support our Rewilding Training programme over the next six months. The primary focus will be:

• Ensure the efficient delivery of our 2026 programmes
• Maximise bookings and income to support cost recovery
• Contribute to the development and planning of our 2027 programmes

The role would ideally suit someone based in the Scottish Highlands, although consideration will be given to applicants based elsewhere in Scotland.

About the Project

PKD Scotland: Outreach and Community Connections Project. 

It is estimated that around 5,000 people in Scotland could be living with Polycystic Kidney 
Disease. It is however often poorly understood and historically underfunded, meaning people 
can leave clinic after diagnosis with little support beyond medical appointments. Many tell us 
they don't know where to turn for emotional support or to meet others living with the same 
condition. We want to change that and with support from a National lottery Awards for All grant 
that is exactly what we are going to do. 

The eighteen-month project will see us reach into hospitals across Scotland to try and ensure 
that no one with PKD in Scotland has to manage their journey on their own. From diagnosis 
onwards we want all to be aware of the charity, the array of services that we offer and foster 
engagement. Two new volunteer led support groups will be established and a group of 
ambassadors recruited to support the ongoing connections we make to ensure that PKD 
remains in the spotlight. 

As our Scotland PKD Engagement Officer you will be central to the success of the project. 
Many people only reach us years after diagnosis, often when symptoms worsen, but we know 
that early connection can make a real difference. PKD is lifelong and people face new 
challenges at every stage. Having support around them helps them stay confident, informed
and connected.

About The Role

 
As PKD’s Scotland Engagement Officer, you will play a central role in delivering this ambitious 
outreach project. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will raise awareness of the PKD Charity and its services, 
ensuring that people diagnosed with PKD are informed about available support from the earliest 
possible stage.

You will build and nurture relationships with NHS professionals and services across Scotland, 
helping embed PKD Charity information and resources into patient pathways. Alongside this, you 
will work closely with volunteers to establish two new PKD support groups and develop an

About the role
You will play a central part in generating the income needed for Ursuline Links to meet its annual and long term goals. Working closely with the Chair of Trustees and the Director, you will shape our fundraising strategy, build donor relationships and secure essential funding from a variety of organisations.

This is a mainly remote role with around one in person meeting each month in East London.

• Develop a fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Chair of Trustees and the Director
• Prepare and submit high quality funding applications
• Build strong relationships with grant making organisations and respond to enquiries
• Attend occasional fundraising events and conferences when required
• Track and analyse fundraising progress and report to trustees twice yearly
• Work with the Director of the Ursuline Education Community charity to support fundraising for the virtues programme

About the opportunity

As Accounts Assistant focusing on Treasury and Accounts Receivables, you'll play an important role in delivering a high-performing, efficient financial transactions operation with partnership and improvement at its core. This is both an operational and developmental role, offered with the possibility of pursuing a formal qualification such as a financial accounting apprenticeship or another appropriate finance or administration-related qualification.

You'll be part of our Finance & Assurance directorate, reporting to the Financial Transaction Team Officers and working alongside other assistants and trainees. The Woodland Trust is looking for an Engaging Communities Officer to join our exciting Sherwood’s Living Legends project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. A development grant has been awarded by Heritage Fund to help the Woodland Trust progress the project over 18-months to apply for a 5-year delivery stage grant. If this application is successful, the project will safeguard the future of ancient and veteran trees in Sherwood Forest and reconnect communities with this iconic landscape. This is a fixed term contract for 18-months, with the potential for an extension. 

The Role: 

• Lead the community-focused development of Sherwood’s Living Legends, shaping how people connect with the cultural, historical and ecological significance of ancient and veteran trees. 
• Co-create imaginative engagement approaches with consultants, using storytelling, heritage and local myth to inspire urban and rural communities. 
• Define target audiences and craft compelling key messages that will underpin the project’s delivery-stage communications.

Community Fundraising Lead

At Friends of PICU, we’re dedicated to supporting the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital Southampton, funding lifesaving equipment, providing family support, and enhancing care for critically ill and injured children. We’re looking for a Community Fundraising Lead to grow our community and events fundraising activities, inspire supporters, and make a lasting impact for families when they need it most.

The Role

As our Community Fundraising Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind our community and event fundraising. You’ll build relationships with existing and new supporters, community groups, and corporate partners developing opportunities to raise income and awareness for Friends of PICU.

Working closely with our Operations Manager, you’ll deliver an annual calendar of exciting fundraising events, from local community challenges to large-scale campaigns, ensuring each activity connects people to our mission and delivers excellent supporter experiences.

• Plan and deliver meaningful landowner consultations, ensuring clear communication and high-quality engagement. 
• Shape the project’s technical direction by identifying gaps in current knowledge, proposing innovative survey approaches, and helping define the evidence base for future landscape-scale interventions.

About the role

This is a senior leadership role and a key early appointment within EQUISS.

As Head of Advocacy and Safeguarding, you will lead the development of our advocacy and safeguarding work, shaping how EQUISS supports individuals navigating abuse, misconduct and safeguarding concerns across the equestrian sector.

You will establish and oversee the organisation’s advocacy service and support line, including recruiting and managing advocacy caseworkers, and ensuring individuals receive safe, informed and survivor-centred guidance. You will also lead the development of safeguarding frameworks, case management systems and organisational safeguarding practice.

As a founding leadership role, you will help shape the safeguarding framework of a new independent organisation, providing strategic oversight of the EQUISS safeguarding training programme and contributing safeguarding expertise to the development of our standards and accreditation frameworks, ensuring learning from advocacy informs sector practice.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will help establish EQUISS as a trusted organisation driving stronger safeguarding, clearer reporting pathways and greater accountability across the equestrian sector.

Person specification

Qualifications

• A relevant professional qualification or degree in safeguarding, social work, psychology, law, education, criminology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Advanced safeguarding training, including Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training and Safeguarding Level 4 or Level 5 training, or equivalent senior safeguarding training

• Experience recruiting, supporting or overseeing trainers, facilitators or external practitioners, ensuring quality and consistency of delivery
• Experience supporting or working with individuals affected by sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, modern slavery or related forms of abuse
• Demonstrable understanding of trauma-informed and survivor-centred practice
• Strong knowledge of UK safeguarding legislation and guidance, including responsibilities relating to children and adults at risk, and experience contributing to organisational safeguarding policies, procedures or governance frameworks
• Ability to exercise sound professional judgement in complex safeguarding situations, maintaining confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries

• A compassionate and inclusive leadership style, with the ability to support staff working with complex and sensitive safeguarding issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a small and collaborative team, contributing to the development of systems, processes and culture as the organisation grows.

• A collaborative mindset and willingness to work flexibly in a developing organisation, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on delivery where required.

Desirable

• Experience working within sport, equestrian environments or athlete welfare contexts.
• Experience contributing to sector standards, accreditation frameworks or safeguarding policy development.
• Membership of, or engagement with, a relevant professional safeguarding body or network.

We support individuals affected by abuse and misconduct, work with organisations to strengthen safeguarding practice, and drive systemic change through training, standards and advocacy.

Our work brings together three key areas: supporting individuals navigating concerns, strengthening safeguarding practice across the sector, and campaigning for meaningful reform where systems are failing.
