As a Veterans Community Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Provide community-based occupational therapy input to veterans, supporting their physical health, independence and day-to-day functioning.
• Work with veterans and, where appropriate, their families and support networks to assess needs and identify practical, person-centred solutions.
• Support veterans to navigate healthcare and support pathways, promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Community Nurses and other professionals.
• Contribute to education, outreach and engagement activity to support the Armed Forces Community.

About the Team

You will be joining the clinical team at Help for Heroes, providing community-based support to the Armed Forces Community across Northern Ireland. The team works collaboratively as a multidisciplinary group of Occupational Therapists and Community Nurses, finding resourceful ways to deliver care that is right, fair and tailored to each individual.

About the role:

Becoming a Homicide Caseworker is a unique opportunity to support families and individuals bereaved by and, eyewitness to murder and manslaughter. The National Homicide Service is a fast paced, specialist team funded directly by the Ministry of Justice to provide exceptional trauma informed practical and emotional support every day.

Legacy Case Administration Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Legacy Case Administration Officer to join the team.

This is an exciting time for the Stroke Association as we work to grow the impact of legacy giving.

Position: CE385 Legacy Case Administration Officer

Location: Home-based, UK nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings. All work-related travel expenses will be paid)

Hours: Full-time

Salary: £35,000 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,275 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

Contract: Permanent

The Role

With legacies already accounting for over half of our donated income, we are committed to increasing the prominence and sustainability of this crucial income stream. We now have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional, customer-focused individual to join our busy Legacy Case Administration team at a pivotal stage of growth and transformation.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Legacy Case Manager to implement best practice and optimise this vital income stream for the Stroke Association. Your focus on maintaining high standards will be essential in delivering the highest quality of service, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively. Your contribution will play a key part in protecting and maximising this essential source of income, helping to sustain our work across the UK and tackle the devastation of stroke.

Key responsibilities will include:

· The administration of all open legacy cases including contentious matters

· Recording of all data related to legacy case administration on the First Class database and any other relevant Supporter CRM

· Provide an excellent experience; communicating sensitively and with empathy when in contact with the variety of different recipients, including professionals, lay executors, and family members

· To assist the Legacy Case Manager with the preparation and management of all records for the annual external audit.

About You

· Good knowledge and experience in charity legacy administration, with a strong working knowledge of probate, and either hold - or be keen to work towards - a recognised professional legacy qualification (such as CiCLA)

· Exceptional attention to detail when managing casework, including reviewing legal documentation and estate accounts

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and professionally with supporters, legal professionals, and the public

· Proven experience of working collaboratively within a high-performing team

· Strong networking and relationship management skills.

Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) is looking for a confident, target-driven Development Manager to help grow philanthropic support. Working closely with the Director of Development, you will deliver individual giving, Supporters’ Circle activity and public fundraising appeals, while supporting corporate partnerships and trusts and foundations. The role involves building strong relationships, planning engaging supporter events and writing persuasive fundraising communications, including appeals linked to future capital developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated fundraiser who believes in the power of arts and culture to create positive change.

MAC is an exciting, ambitious arts centre which offers a wide array of free exhibitions, theatre, music, cinema and comedy performances as well as creative learning and participation activities. Job Purpose:

To deliver key strands of MAC’s Development and Fundraising Strategy, with responsibility for Individual Giving, Supporters’ Circle, donor events and fundraising communications, while also supporting Corporate fundraising and Trusts and Foundations activity.
