About the role
We are excited to be recruiting a Finance Coordinator to support the Finance team to fulfil day-to-day objectives and help the wider organisation to deliver the goals set out in Join the Club 2021-2026 and beyond.

The Finance Coordinator position will report to the Finance Manager. The role will manage a varied workload that includes checking and approving expenses, bank reconciliations, purchase invoices, maintaining purchase orders, support credit control, managing the Finance inbox and phone, responding to staff and supplier queries and supporting the Finance team with the departmental targets. The role requires an enthusiastic individual with an eye for detail and good interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will champion the charity’s values and embody them in interactions with colleagues and external stakeholders. To ensure excellent working relationships are maintained, they will be effective communicators with staff and external stakeholders. They will continually improve in their areas of responsibility, looking at how the Finance department can be more efficient and implementing new ideas. They will be positive and proactive, with a commitment to delivering excellent standards.

While this role can be based in our London or Leeds offices, some travel will be required to London for events and to attend in-person meetings.

We’re now looking for a passionate programme coordinator with a flair for building positive relationships to join our team in the north west of England.

As Network & Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with staff and young people in our Youth Foyer network.

By proactively listening to the network’s needs, ambitions and experiences; offering coaching and development opportunities; and guiding Youth Foyers through our accreditation programme, you will support services to develop and deliver transformational opportunities for young people who can’t live at home.

You will also be responsible for the delivery of funded programmes for and with young people (16-25) and staff in north west Youth Foyers.

The opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Finance and Resources to help ensure the Trust is financially strong, operationally effective, and strategically equipped to deliver maximum impact for people with cystic fibrosis.

This is not just a finance leadership role. It is a mission-critical position at the heart of the organisation, where sound financial stewardship, thoughtful investment, and values-led decision-making directly support better outcomes for the CF community.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be a key strategic partner to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees. With oversight of a £15m budget, you will lead a multidisciplinary directorate encompassing Finance, IT and digital transformation, People and Organisation Development, Strategy and Business Intelligence, Facilities, and Company Secretariat functions.

Your leadership will enable the Trust to:

• Make confident, evidence-led decisions in a complex and changing environment
• Invest wisely in services, research, people and digital capability
• Strengthen governance, resilience and long-term sustainability
• Ensure our systems, processes and culture support excellence, inclusion and impact

A significant element of the role will be leading the Trust’s digital and IT transformation, including the delivery of a new CRM system in 2026 — a critical enabler of how we understand, support and engage with our community.

Job Description

Key areas of responsibility:

1.  Be the front of house first contact for telephone, in person and email enquiries.

2. Take minibus and passenger bookings for outings and shopping, using our bespoke CTX software.

3. Maintain operational records and statistics relating to all vehicle hirings and ensure that all mileage is accounted for.

4. Update financial records and prepare invoices using Sage Accounts, process petty cash and take money to the bank.

5. Organise the schedules for drivers and volunteers.

6. Produce newsletters and publicity materials.

7.  Participate in fundraising and publicity events. This may include evening and weekend work for which time off in lieu would be granted.

8. Attend and take part in staff meetings and evening Management Committee meetings, giving reports if required.

9. Any other duties commensurate with the grading of the post as directed by the Deputy Director, CEO or Management Committee.

This role will lead and deliver two projects, the Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Young Adult Voices Project, and the General Synod Young Voices project, across which it will engage with a wide variety of young people.

The Net Zero Carbon Young Adult Voices project recognises that action to tackle climate change, as part of the wider environmental crisis, is important for young people, and responds to the fact that the NZC programme is not currently strategically engaging with these groups.

This project will involve:
- gathering the voices of young adults (18-30) to enable them to influence the direction of the programme and the Church's wider Environment Programme, ensuring their voice is heard at all levels of the Programme, and informs decision-making.
- communicating what the NZC programme is doing, to raise awareness amongst young people of the CofE's commitment to being a NZC church with these audiences, and to enable pathways for them to become involved in decarbonisation and other environmental projects at the local level.
- work with diocesan colleagues to enable the voices of young people to exercise leadership influence on NZC at a Diocesan level, as appropriate.

Important to the success of this role will be engaging with departments and stakeholders across the Church of England, to ensure this work sits within the broader context of the priority to be a church which is younger and more diverse.
As this is a new project and a new role, the postholder will help to shape the role. The initial focus will be to develop a NZC Young Adult Voices Strategy and Plan for sign-off by the NZC Programme Board, and then to work through delivery of this. This will need to consider the theology, mission and action that will engage and connect with young people - particularly exploring how we root this work in the spirituality and theology that is relevant for a younger audience.

The General Synod Young Voices project follows two motions passed at General Synod (in July 2024 and February 2025) committing General Synod to listening and responding to the voices of children, young people and young adults in every subsequent session. This project involves gathering the voices through schools, churches and Dioceses and enabling children and young people to speak and present each session at General Synod. In addition, it involves working with a group of young adults drawn from every diocese to run a programme of faith and leadership development that enables them to speak into General Synod at a national level, and exercise leadership influence at a Diocesan level as appropriate.

This is a fixed-term role until December 2028, with potential to extend, dependent on 29-31 Triennium Funding.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic person who is committed to access to justice. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the smooth running of LAG’s marketing, subscriptions and events activity.

Working closely with the Head of Transformation & Systems Lead and the wider team, the successful candidate will coordinate subscription administration, respond to inbox enquiries, support marketing campaigns and assist with the organisation and delivery of training events. The Centre for Justice Innovation is looking to recruit a pragmatic and thoughtful Research Officer to help us advocate for evidence-based reform to criminal and family justice policy and practice in the UK.

What will you be doing?

Our Research Officer will play a key pivotal in strengthening the evidence base for innovation across the UK’s justice systems. The role will have a particular focus on improving outcomes for women in the criminal justice system and for families in the family justice system, including through our work overseeing FDAC.

Undertaking qualitative and mixed methods research, you will draw out the voices of people with lived experience and frontline practitioners on issues like:

• Improving the treatment of women in the criminal justice system
• Joined up responses to domestic abuse
• Making sure that children and families involved in the family justice system have the right support.

Your duties will include:

• Undertaking qualitative and mixed-methods research projects
• Working with other team members to design research methodologies

About the Team

The Programme Operations team sits within WaterAid UK’s International Programmes Department (IPD), operating in 17 countries in Africa and Asia. The team is a diverse and motivated group of 14+ people made up of planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting (PMER), project design and management, and programme systems specialists. They support global operational excellence, PMER, risk management, donor compliance and performance assurance across WaterAid UK’s country and regional programmes. Working in partnership with regional and country leadership teams, the function provides technical oversight, systems development and operational support to strengthen programme delivery and organisational accountability.

About the Role

The Head of Programme Operations leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of WaterAid’s international programme operations framework. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across programme operations, business management, systems, risk and compliance.

Key responsibilities include overseeing IPD business management processes, supporting financial planning and performance reporting, acting as a delegated focal point for operational risk, and providing senior troubleshooting support on complex operational and management challenges.

The role works in close partnership with Programme Funding to ensure operational readiness for new donor opportunities and effective grant start-up and close-out. It also leads operational assurance processes, strengthens compliance with donor and organisational requirements, and supports capacity strengthening across regional and country teams.
