Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota, shifts will be 3 days per week 08:00 - 21:30 including every other weekend and bank holidays

About the role

We're hiring a Support Coach to join our Independent Approved Premises, commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) which works with high risk offenders who have left prison. Penrose Drive is a community setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community if they do not have restrictions on their license. Security is therefore flexible in both design and operation. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners. You will join the team to support in the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents back into the community. You will engage with them through key working activities to understand their needs and goals, then provide pathways and support to enable them to independence and help reduce reoffending. 

The service hold regular activities in service, in a bright and airy environment. The team work closely with one another and support which achieving overall service KPI's, and you will be part of making a greater change. Everyday looks different so this is perfect for someone who wants a role where no two days are the same. We provide fresh hot meals to our residents which can also be enjoyed by staff. 

About you

We're looking for someone who has a background in ciminal justice services, and has a real passion for what we do. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment, be proactive, and have resilience to challenges. You will thrive working within the team as well as independently, and be comfortable with working with people who have different offending histories. We're looking for someone who can build trust and rapport with others, and has a positive outlook, which can be used to support others. 

• Ability to manage own caseload and determine priorities with time management. Able to use own initiative
• Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours or a good understanding of the sector.
• IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience
• Understanding and/or practical application of key legislation regarding social care, housing, criminal justice and mental health

The Research Officer role enjoys a varied workload and brings the opportunity to work with autonomy and develop new skills within a friendly and dynamic team. Duties and Key Responsibilites 

Sarcoma UK’s research programme

• To support Sarcoma UK’s grant application processes under guidance from the Acting Head of Research. This will include calls for proposals, identifying expert peer reviewers, administering a high-quality peer and lay review process, communication with applicants and potential applicants, administration of grant awards and supporting patient involvement.
• To provide support to the Grant Review Panel and Research Strategy Committee, including organising meetings and preparing minutes.
• To manage Sarcoma UK’s portfolio of active research grants, under guidance from the Acting Head of Research. This will include administration of newly awarded grants, monitoring progress of current grants, oversight of grant finances and reporting on final outputs.
• To support opportunities for patient involvement within the research programme, including managing a network of lay reviewers and facilitating new opportunities, with support from the Patient Involvement Coordinator.
• To support new developments in Sarcoma UK’s research programme, including organising and attending events, collaborative funding calls and initiatives to support early career researchers. 

Research Impact and Communications

• To monitor and gather outputs and long-term impact of research grants funded by Sarcoma UK and support in ensuring these are shared with internal and external audiences.
• To plan and produce engaging and reactive and proactive communications about sarcoma research, including website, social media, written and video content, working with the Acting Head of Research and Communications Team to ensure our research activities and outcomes are shared with the sarcoma community and wider public.
• To proactively engage with grant holders to gather impactful insights and to support engaging communication about sarcoma research.
• To regularly review and update Sarcoma UK’s website with progress updates on research grants and promote funding opportunities.
• To support work undertaken by the Fundraising Team where required, such as lab tours and supplying information about funded grants for donor reports.

External relationships

• To be a point of contact for Sarcoma UK grant holders and their host institutions.

Purpose of the role:

The Junior Salesforce Administrator role supports the effective use and ongoing development of the Churchill Fellowship’s Salesforce CRM platform and related applications. Working closely with the Salesforce Team and other internal teams, you will ensure our data remains accurate and accessible, help to improve business processes, and provides user support and training across the organisation. You will play a key part in ensuring Salesforce functions as the single source of truth for organisational data. 

Key responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration and Support:

• Support day-to-day Salesforce user needs, including responding to support tickets and troubleshooting.
• Maintain data quality through duplicate management, validation rules, and standardised field formatting.
• Assist with regular data cleaning activities and updates to system records. 
• Help to prepare technical documentation and user guidance materials. 
• Contribute to routine platform maintenance, upgrades, and third-party app integrations (e.g., FormAssembly, Conga). 
• Support data reporting and dashboards to ensure teams can access reliable insights. 
• Collaborate on developing and refining automated processes using Flows and other Salesforce tools.

Grant & Event Technical Support:

• Assist with the technical setup of grant-related processes in Salesforce, including automations and applicant communications. 
• Support the Events and Development teams with Salesforce Campaign setup, RSVP forms, and invitation tracking. 
• Help ensure integrations and automations run smoothly before, during, and after events. 
• Monitor engagement and follow-up activities through reports and dashboards.

Systems Training & Team Support:

• Provide training and onboarding support to help new and existing staff understand and use Salesforce effectively.
• Contribute to the identification of system improvement opportunities to support organisational needs. 
• Work with internal teams to ensure data protocols are followed and support the development of efficient processes.

As an Adult Carers Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to adult carers and a commitment to enhancing their health and wellbeing. Much of your work will involve actively listening to carers, often via the phone support line, providing information, advice and support. As part of the Adult Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in organising breaks for carers, outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. Part of the role will also aim to improve the identification, recognition and understanding of the needs of adult carers, raise the profile of adult carers and ensure adult carers needs are met. You’ll also be expected to work with our volunteers and to use appropriate monitoring and evaluation reports to show our funders what we’ve achieved.

• To be proactive in the registration of carers living or caring for someone within the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
• To keep accurate records of group and individual carer engagement for monitoring and evaluation purposes
• To participate in key events organised by Richmond Carers Centre and other relevant partners to promote services to a wider public

About the role

Our Participation and Involvement Manager will build on existing practice across the organisation and lead on the implementation and further development of a participation and involvement framework, enabling a large and diverse range of kinship carers to share their views and expertise meaningfully, safely and effectively to shape Kinship’s activity. You will work closely with kinship carers and colleagues across the organisation to understand the key challenges and opportunities with embedding participatory methods, including co-production and co-design, which improve Kinship’s work – right from the design and delivery of our advice and support services through to influencing policy and campaigning for change.

With support from colleagues, you will act as the key cross-organisational adviser on participation and involvement practice, supporting and empowering colleagues to develop the skills and knowledge they need to embed a consistent approach to the involvement of kinship carers to best suit the needs of their roles.

As an enthusiastic and engaging facilitator, and an advocate for participatory methods, you will sensitively and skillfully work alongside kinship carers and colleagues to deliver high quality involvement activity which supports the charity’s mission and aims. You will also be an experienced project manager, ensuring all activity is appropriately monitored and evaluated, and aligned with best practice around equality and diversity, remuneration, safeguarding and governance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Refine and further develop an existing organisational participation and involvement framework which supports staff to meaningfully, safely and effectively involve kinship carers in their work.
• Design and implement a plan to embed effective practice based on the framework across Kinship, building a positive organisational culture and providing appropriate training, upskilling and support to colleagues to ensure consistency of delivery and experience for kinship carers.
• Lead a cross-organisational working group of people with relevant lived, learned and professional experiences to support and advise on embedding high-quality participation and involvement activity.
• Work closely with colleagues across the whole organisation to understand their bespoke needs, strengths and requirements around implementing participatory methods in their day-to-day work, and develop strategic relationships with colleagues in areas with more extensive existing participatory or adjacent activity (e.g. research, volunteering).
• Develop and recruit a network of people with lived experience interested in being more intensively involved in participatory activities, with a focus on increasing the diversity of people working with us.

Essential experience includes:

• Experience managing and leading the delivery of participation or involvement activity with people with lived experience of social issues.
• A commitment to meaningful participation and involvement activity, including a nuanced understanding of the individual and organisational opportunities and challenges associated with this.
• Knowledge of models, methodologies and approaches used in high quality participation and involvement activity, and strong skills in creative facilitation – particularly with groups.
• An understanding of kinship care and how this may impact on kinship carers’ involvement with Kinship and our activity.
• Experience of effective project management with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Teaching Resources at Unifrog

One of the most important parts of Unifrog is a searchable library of hundreds of teaching resources, covering careers guidance, progression, SEL, and PSHE. 

Each week the lessons are used by tens of thousands of teachers in the UK and around the world.

About the role

Funded by the Department for Education, the National Peer Support Service for England is a game-changing service that creates a sustainable and life-changing legacy. It builds on Kinship’s 10 years of experience in developing peer support groups and over two years of delivering a national service that has set up 145 new groups.

This role is community-based and focuses on engaging kinship carers, bringing them together to form peer support groups, and supporting them to achieve independence at which point they will receive ongoing support from our national Hub.

You will do this by working with local authorities, schools, other charities and community groups. Arranging information events such as coffee mornings to engage kinship carers. You’ll create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community for kinship carers, building belonging, resilience, and empowerment.

About you

• Establish new peer support groups across a diverse range of communities 
• Supervise a small team of Peer Support Development Officers

You should have experience in developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with various community-based stakeholders such as local authorities, health services, schools, charities, and kinship carers. You will need to understand the key success factors involved in establishing and developing new in-person groups in areas of high need, as well as how to support existing groups in their journey toward sustainability.

An essential requirement of the role is to be a driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Essential requirements include:

• Experience of team leadership or line management and supervision of a small team and managing performance to deliver targets effectively.

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London.  All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. 

We are recruiting Employment Advisors to join our IPS service, you will be based in Newham, working 35 hours per week. Working Well Trust's services have previously been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. South East London Mind’s award-winning Mindful Mums programme aims to build resilience and prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy up to 1 year). The service has supported over 4,000 parents within the last eight years.

We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to act as our Single Point of Access for professionals, service users and volunteers. The role is responsible for managing all referrals, providing holistic and person-centred support to vulnerable women experiencing mental health challenges. The role will provide high quality and supportive line management of staff, and will oversee the recruitment life cycle of volunteers to the Mindful Mums project, including interviews, onboarding, training and supervision.

You will be highly organised with experience of staff and data management in a target-driven environment. Working independently but collaboratively, you will take a solution-focused approach to improve processes and will be able to utilise databases to produce and analyse reports. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Administrator to join the Marketing team and the wider Fundraising, Retail and Communications Department. Your role is to provide high quality administrative support.

Role Requirements

• Work to a regular schedule of imports
• Locate the required data from multiple sources both within and outside The Children’s Trust systems
• Follow detailed process guides
• Use various tools to manipulate data and change formats where required
• Import the data on to Charity CRM and other systems using built in and in-house tools
• Ensure financial and personal information is managed appropriately and securely
• Follow detailed briefs and process guides
• Extract supporter data for fundraising activity
• Extract information for use in analysis or other projects
• Update existing reports daily, weekly and monthly
• Report on fundraising activity, income and trends
• Produce detailed financial reports for internal use
• Support the Director of Fundraising & Communications
• Support the Data Manager in developing analysis projects
• Work with the team to identify measures to monitor and model performance
• Learn the use of built in and third-party analysis tools

Salary: £42,000 per annum

The post holder will be contractually based at Hospice House, Britannia Street, London, WC1X 9JG. This role is eligible for the Hospice UK Hybrid Working Arrangement from the start of employment. Our expectation is that you will come to London at least two days each month for team meetings, plus a quarterly ‘all staff’ event, and External Affairs away days a few times a year. The Communications team mostly comes into the office at least once a week.  You may also find it useful to visit member hospices. You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time.

It’s an exciting time to take on this refreshed role as Digital Marketing Manager at Hospice UK. After significant investment in our digital infrastructure and an overhaul of our communications strategy in recent years, we’re looking for someone to take our digital offering and supporter engagement to the next level.

Line managing a team of two, and with shared oversight of the organisation’s brand, this role leads the delivery of key digital marketing products in the organisation, including our Dying Matters campaign. It’s an influential and visible role within the organisation, and has the great privilege of overseeing the telling of deeply moving human stories of grief and compassion at the end of life.

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for creating a rich and varied online experience for Hospice UK’s supporters. Overseeing our digital marketing and content strategies, you will work with powerful personal stories of hospice care, loss and grief. Your goal is to use these to inspire our public audiences to get behind our mission to make sure end of life care is there for everyone who needs it.

You’ll be a key member of our External Affairs directorate, and you’ll manage our digital content and marketing team, leading the delivery of key campaign and marketing content and products. The team is currently made up of three people. You’ll have a sophisticated understanding of how to get our audiences’ attention through effective use of tools including Meta Business, Google search and email marketing.

We recognise that search engine optimisation (SEO) and user experience are both critical to achieving our business objectives. You’ll lead on planning content that is SEO-optimised to get us appearing in front of as many people as possible, and structured in a way that gives users a top-class online experience.

Our social media channels have undergone a transformation since our brand refresh in May 2024, and are now engaging our supporter base – and those new to hospice care – in a highly effective way. You’ll lead the team that plans and produces content for both our member and supporter-facing social channels, finding new and engaging ways to keep growing our social presence.

We’ve made great strides over the past 18 months in working much more effectively with our Income Generation directorate across appeals, organic social media and paid social marketing campaigns. You’ll be a key part of the continuation and development of our work here, sourcing stories and content that further develops our success in these spaces.

With a highly motivated Membership Engagement team in place to strengthen our position as a membership body with the UK’s 200+ hospices, you’ll collaborate with this team to identify opportunities to work with our members for things like photography and filming, social media, and other campaign-related content.

You’ll have a key input into the delivery of content for Hospice UK’s flagship campaigns including Dying Matters and Hospice Care Week. With shared responsibility for brand development and guardianship, the role has significant visibility across the organisation, requiring strong relationship, motivation and influencing skills.

This is a reshaped role which comes at an exciting and important time in Hospice UK’s digital evolution. We’ve significantly invested in our digital footprint and infrastructure in recent years, with a new website and CRM, and a recently completed digital fundraising and social media strategy review now ready for implementation. As we develop a new organisational strategy, you’ll lead the development of new, audience-led and integrated ways to recruit, engage and mobilise our supporters online. 

We know that more and more people care about and are motivated by making sure everyone who needs it gets brilliant care when they die, and that family and friends are well supported too. The exciting challenge of this role is to harness that public interest to help drive Hospice UK’s work forward.
