St. Michael’s Hospice is a registered charity providing palliative and end of life care services for the people of North Hampshire.
As a charity, we depend on the kindness and support of our local community to continue offering our services free of charge. It may come as a surprise, but only 16% of our funding comes from the government. End-of-life care is an essential service, not a luxury, yet it is not funded like other care services. To keep the Hospice’s services running, we need raise an additional £15,000 every day.
The role
As our Individual Giving Lead, you will ensure that everyone that makes a donation to St. Michael’s Hospice, feels valued and that their donation has truly made a difference.
You will maximise opportunities for individual supporters across the individual giving portfolio. Identifying areas for growth and achieve new income across all income streams and enjoy building and deepening engagement with existing supporters.
This role can be office based or hybrid (a mix of home and office working). We would like someone to work a minimum of three days, however hours can be worked across the week, to suit the candidate.
The fundraising office is in Millennium House, Priestley Road Basingstoke and has free parking. It is within a short walking distance from St. Michael’s Hospice and Basingstoke Hospital.

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people who have had stoma surgery (ostomates) and those who care about them. We help ostomates to return to sports, hobbies and other activities after surgery, and give them the confidence to return to a full life and take on fresh challenges. Our campaigns raise awareness of life with a stoma and encourage organisations to make their facilities more inclusive.
About the role:
As the Fundraising Executive you will work to grow income through developing our community engagement, attracting, building and managing relationships with a range of supporters (individual donors and fundraisers, community groups, local businesses, volunteers etc). You will lead on the stewardship of events and challenges, including our annual Step Up campaign, by supporting individuals and groups to raise funds through fundraising activities. The post-holder will also support the recording of donations, send appropriate acknowledgements, review fundraising materials, and prepare fundraising content for social media, our website and our quarterly magazine, Tidings. Core role responsibilities
· Working alongside the Fundraising Manager to implement the fundraising strategy, with a focus on building unrestricted income
· Donor stewardship, including recording and thanking for donations, and other supporter communications, to encourage long-term, repeat support – engaging existing supporters, making them feel valued, proud, and committed to supporting the charity
· Working with our supporters to organise and host interesting activities and events in the community and digitally, to significantly increase fundraising income; ensuring excellent support of their activities during planning and delivery, and arranging attendance from the Colostomy UK team and volunteers as appropriate
· Preparing appealing fundraising materials and content for all types of communications
· Representing and raising the profile of the organisation externally by giving presentations and promoting the need for fundraising among different audiences
· Working with the Marketing & Social Media Executive to ensure fundraising is included in our public-facing communications, to supporters and audiences on social media, in newsletters and on other channels; ensuring our website, social media channels and print material are kept up to date with fundraising news and activities that inspire engagement and giving

In this exciting role you will be responsible for implementing the charity’s Individual Giving, Legacy and In Memory fundraising programmes (target of £1.3m in 2024).
You will manage a team of two with the support from the Head of Fundraising, with whom you will work closely with to develop a series of targeted multi-channelled appeals and campaigns to engage with existing supporters and to attract, recruit and retain new ones.
You will be confident in handling and interrogating data, utilising your experience to deliver insight led creative campaigns across several channels. Key responsibilities
Planning and implementation Support the Head of Fundraising to plan, lead, implement, and evaluate strategies to:
• Increase individual gifts through enhancing the supporter donor journey.
• Develop new individual giving appeals and campaigns with a focus on direct marketing across various channels to engage with new and existing supporters to generate new income.
• Working with the communications team to design a multi-channelled approach to maximise the reach to the appropriate audiences.
• Develop the required tools and mechanisms to ensure ease of engagement.
• Design and implement a stewardship programme that cultivates long term support across all fundraising streams.

Donor data analysis and segmentation Analyse and segment the supporter base to develop targeted supporter journeys and ask strategies, using donor data from our CRM to:
• Maximise the lifetime value of donors.
• Ensure effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.
• Manage a continuous cycle of testing for new channels and techniques for acquisition and retention, based on audience insight and sector trends.
• Work with the Head of Fundraising to produce regular feedback reports and analysis.
• Ensure all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM system.

As Trusts and Foundations Officer you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will be responsible for carrying out a successful program of fundraising from small, medium and large charitable trusts and foundations to an agreed annual fundraising target. Purpose of the Post/Responsibilities
This is a full-time position reporting directly into the CEO/CFO with an expectation of being on site in the award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire a minimum of 3 days a week, depending on meetings and events. We are seeking an inspirational leader with the ability to identify opportunities and grow diverse income lines to support the Charity’s expanding service delivery.
Responsible for the strategic management and development of the Charity’s income generation, this role will play a pivotal part in taking the Charity to the next level and helping to change the lives of disabled children across the UK and beyond.
The successful candidate will oversee the main public-facing fundraising activity for the Charity, providing strategic leadership and tactical supervision to a growing team of Fundraisers.
You will be expected to develop a robust and diverse fundraising portfolio across several designated income strands to generate increasing levels of fundraising income year-on-year.
It has been recognised that the Charity currently has minimal market share in most standard charity income lines and this role will be fundamental in developing the required infrastructure, resource and ‘products’ to begin growing market share over the medium to long term.
A primary responsibility of the role will be to assess, develop and implement a new donor management system; ensuring new and existing supporters have a clear communication and cultivation journey with assigned fundraisers adopting relationship responsibilities throughout.
The required standard levels of customer service and donor management for all supporter relations across the Charity will be established and promoted to ensure the required levels of consistency.
This growth will occur while maintaining and strengthening the established income lines which already exist, such as Events and Challenges.
Events are a part of Caudwell Children’s DNA and the single largest income generator in the Charity’s Fundraising Department, therefore there will be a specific focus on maintaining and developing this important department.
The role will initially be responsible for developing two designated teams of fundraising colleagues:
- Individual Giving (Team size: 3)
- (Wills & Legacy, Regular Gifts/Direct Debit, Major Gifts, Raffle/Lottery, Payroll Giving).
- Community Fundraising (Team size: 6)
- (Events, Challenges, Mass Participation, Street Collections).
Remaining income streams (Trusts & Foundations, Public Sector Funding, Earned Income and Trading Income) will be managed by the Director of Corporate Fundraising.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team the successful candidate will be responsible for reporting to the CEO/CFO and fellow Directors regularly on strategy and performance.
Monthly reporting to the Trustee Board and regular ad-hoc correspondence with Trustees will also be required.
Success will be monitored annually by the Trustee Board against KPI’s including income growth, ROI and market share.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individuals to join our fundraising team as a Supporter Engagement Officer. In this role, you will play a vital role in building and growing relationships with our individual donors and managing digital campaigns and challenge events to help the team raise as much funding as possible to support people experiencing homelessness across London.
About the role:
As the Supporter Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for the stewardship of new and existing donors to becoming regular Single Homeless Project supporters. Working closely with the Supporter Engagement Lead and alongside the fundraising team, you will contribute towards the delivery of achieving SHP's overarching vision of a society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life.
In your role, you will be responsible for building and delivering a successful supporter engagement campaigns focusing on:
- Building and growing relationships with our fantastic supporters throughout their journey with Single Homeless Project.
- Supporting with the management and delivery of a portfolio of fundraising events.
- Developing and delivering engaging digital campaigns and content through our online portfolio of products and emergency appeals.
- Working with internal SHP departments to create new concepts for supporter engagement.
- Stewarding new and existing donors to become regular supporters of Single Homeless Project.
Please note the role will follow a hybrid working model, with two days working in our head office in Kings Cross and 3 days WFH.
About you:
- Highly numerate and attentive to detail, with strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven and able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team, meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Experience of working on digital campaigns and understanding of PPC advertising.
- Experience working with other internal departments to maximise collaboration and impact between the teams.
- Experience building and managing relationships with individual donors and external funders.

As Major Donor Manager, you will:
- Lead the development and delivery of a major giving programme to build it into a sustainable income stream
- Build a robust pipeline of prospects and proactively carry out detailed prospect research
- Support and steward a portfolio of major donors giving up to £50k, providing excellent stewardship
- Develop personal engagement plans for donors and prospects, using knowledge and insights to plan appropriate communications
- Develop high value cultivation events to engage donors and prospects with the work of the charity
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience in a relationship-focused role with demonstrable examples of stewarding and soliciting gifts
- Ability to think creatively about major donor fundraising, identifying opportunities for increased engagement among existing donors and prospects, fostering a strong sense of connection to the charity’s mission
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, and someone who can develop rapport with stakeholders of all levels forging effective and collaborative working relationships
- Experience developing a donor pipeline and conducting effective prospect research

The Role
The fundraising team at Kidney Care UK have been incredibly successful from only being established 8 years ago, with the last 2.5 years being exponential in growth, they now have ambitious plans to treble their income in three years to sustain the growth and to continue to support kidney patients who need help and support.
This role will oversee and develop the charity's community fundraising and trade revenues, with a target of £266,000 for 2024. While fostering significant engagement with community supporters and fundraisers, you will lead a dedicated team of two within the Community and Trade team. You will work closely with the incredibly passionate and ambitious Director Of Fundraising, who will support you through the programmes.
Your responsibilities include raising awareness of community fundraising program and creating a 'best-in-class' stewardship program to cultivate new and existing relationships with supporters, volunteer groups, organizations, and partners to maximize income and elevate the charity's profile.
Responsibilities:
Community fundraising
* Design and implement a stewardship programme that converts interest into support and maximises fundraised income whilst developing lasting relationships.
* Introduce fundraising opportunities to our existing and potential supporters through a multi-channelled marketing strategy to grow levels of engagement and participation.
* Grow non-monetary donations as part of the community fundraising portfolio of events.
* Support the Head of Fundraising in designing new and developing existing community fundraising opportunities.
* Market and promote the calendar of community events to existing and potential supporters and wider to grow levels of engagement and participation.
* Support the Head of Fundraising to design and develop the community events and engagement fundraising calendar to potentially include bespoke, charity place, promoted and reactive events.
* Lead on the creation and implementation of a digital community fundraising programme, focusing of mass participation, low barrier to entry activities.
* Lead on the management and innovation of our trade fundraising income.
Database and process management
* Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure all recording, banking and stewardship processes are up to date and working across the fundraising team, wider charity (finance, data and marketing and communications) and in accordance with current laws and regulations.
* Record all community and trade income and thank community donors and supporters as per the agreed process.
* Work with the Head of Fundraising to produce regular feedback reports and analysis on specific community products and overall revenue.
