What you’ll do:
- Ensure key stakeholders prepare business cases for investment in technology and software to agreed standards, advising them on process and changes or additions to business cases.
- In collaboration with the business lead, manage the development and delivery of technology projects, ensuring that it meets RCR’s required standards and supporting successful implementation.
- Ensure plans, risks and finances associated with project delivery are tracked as required and made visible for governance and portfolio management purposes.
- Use feedback and research to recommend improvements to RCR’s IT project management processes, implementing agreed changes.
- Support the Head of IT in the day-to-day management of invoices and of the IT budget, ensuring that spend is accounted for and managed according to RCR’s guidelines.
- Manage, administer and schedule regular board meetings. Follow up actions agreed in the board meeting, in partnership with the Head of IT.

We are a small, highly experienced team who share a passion to support the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people across Surrey. This is a key new role in the Major Relationships unit to support the CEO and Major Relationships Lead in major donor fundraising, an area which has grown in recent years. This locally based post will enhance the prospect pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of major donor prospects, which will help towards meeting the objectives and financial targets for major donor fundraising. The Major Relationships unit works alongside Grants, Corporates & Community as well as Individual Giving, as part of the wider Engagement (fundraising/marketing) team at Eikon.
Responsibilities
1. Research

Identify and prioritise potential major donor prospects in Surrey and beyond, who would be capable of making significant contributions and seem likely to have the propensity to donate i.e. to become major donors.

Produce high quality, tailored and insightful research on major donors.

Look at current supporters (all different types/levels) with good contacts/connections/networks and conduct research in order to suggest ways to reach new high net worth individuals across Surrey.
2. Event organisation/co-ordination
-
Organise/coordinate internal and externally run events such as dinners, drinks receptions, sporting events.

Attend key events - approx. 5 each year and sometimes evenings/weekends – welcoming guests and ensuring a positive experience.

Join the CEO and/or the Major Relationships Lead at specific meetings with MDs/MDPs, occasionally evenings/weekends.
3. Admin

Day-to-day support for MDs, MDPs and key influencers (KIs) which could include:

General stewardship including thanking and processing information on Sharepoint and Donorfy (Eikon’s database).

Regular communication including calls, meetings and sharing reports, presentations and other updates.

Database admin, including checking opportunity pipelines and reporting requirements.

Supporting individuals or small groups who are fundraising for us e.g. how to set up and promote a JustGiving page.
4. Marketing, Communications and relationships

Support and liaise with the Marketing and Communications team to deliver relevant and effective content and materials, as well as maximising social media opportunities.

Co-ordinate communications (including distribution) to all MDs/MDPs/KIs eg CEO Update plus Infographic.

Support the CEO and Major Relationships Lead to further develop good relationships with Eikon’s MDs/MDPs/KIs.
5. Strategy

Contribute to Engagement Team strategies, annual plans and budgets.

Passionate about providing a brilliant Customer Experience, you'll be proactive in monitoring call volumes, queues and data on a daily basis to help to ensure optimal ticket levels and responsible for ticket logging and allocation within the ITSM tool, setting an example on ticket management.
Data-driven, you'll carry out Service Desk reporting and trend analysis activities and play a key role in managing the Asset database and management process.
This role offers hybrid working, where you'll spend up to 3 days a week on-site in our Warrington office, plus ad-hoc cover as requested, working the rest of the time from home.
Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Our core hours are 08:00 until 19:00 with cover required on a rota basis across the Service Desk leadership team.

Key Tasks:

· Lead the acquisition process for AWT's first Nature Recovery land purchase - aiming to be completed by the end of 2024.
· Work closely with senior staff to develop AWT’s customer base for credit sales. Initially focusing on Biodiversity Net Gain, bat credits and carbon credits.
We want to see nature restored on a grand scale across the Avon region. We have big plans between now and 2030 to see this happen.

The Students’ Union and the International Society merged in autumn 2023. We have good levels of engagement from international students in societies and volunteering and those that run for election to be our full-time student officers. We’re not too sure about whether international students are getting what they need in terms of information and guidance on student life, whether there are any differences in educational outcomes and we think student jobs and employment will be important. Role Summary
How this role fits into the vision and objectives of Causeway
Refocus is an early intervention domestic abuse programme designed to tackle those at risk of committing domestic abuse towards a partner. The programme closely supports victims and intervenes early in more cases where a partner is identified as displaying abusive or potentially abusive behaviour.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator within one of our Crime Reduction Teams based in Merseyside. The aim of this project is to support and signpost individuals who meet relevant criteria and show a motivation to change after being identified as being at potential risk of committing low level Domestic Abuse. A key element of this project is that it is survivor focused and looks to address abusive behaviours at their source, at an early intervention phase, via support and education. This means working with both those who have carried out such acts and those who have been made subject to them.
The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality service, constantly focused on achieving positive outcomes for every service user through effective management, training and the development of this crime reduction team across Merseyside, ensuring all service users have a person centred, trauma informed plan, that outlines the goals and targets that the service uses, Navigators and Advocates agree to work toward. You will be working in an agile and responsive team environment and be part of the team providing support and pathways to those who have experienced domestic abuse and work with people displaying potentially abusive or coercive behaviours (perpetrators), offering education and support to promote long term change
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the coordination of service user support including referrals, assessments, person-centred support plans, dynamic risk assessments, issue reports, and exits.
- To oversee line management of a team of navigators and advocates working across the county of Merseyside.
- To oversee the ReFocus inbox and efficiently screen VPRF Police Referrals to ensure they are appropriate for the ReFocus project.
- To appropriately escalate inappropriate referrals back to Merseyside Police or other DA organisations, including MARAC.
- Reporting to Merseyside Police and providing project data as requested. Also reporting to the Manager with data as required.
- To manage any day to day operational contact with Merseyside police and liaise with Service Manager and Merseyside Police SPOC on all reports, including monthly reporting.
- To maintain and develop contacts with organisations and individuals regarding domestic abuse to ensure there are sufficient referral pathways set-up for each borough in Merseyside.
- To maintain and develop contact with organisations in a professional manner - including but not limited to Merseyside Police, Local Authorities, Community Partners, and Home Office.
- To attend Panels with other DA organisations to help screen various referrals to ensure they are appropriate for the ReFocus programme – including but not limited to St Helen’s Families in Harmonies Panel.
- To liaise with DMAT on the See the Signs Programme to ensure service users are attending and engaging with the programme in a 12-16 week timeframe.
- To encourage the team to network and develop professional relationships with relevant organisations in the Merseyside area.
- To ensure all KPIS’s and finance reporting is up to date and that service user related issues are recorded and updated regularly and in a timely fashion.
- The coordination of staff including; induction, training, team meetings, volunteers, supervisions, rotas, holidays and absence cover.
- To work with the safeguarding department and Service Manager to ensure that all staff are completing, updating and maintaining risk assessments for all service users and to advise and direct on complex safeguarding cases.
- To oversee the health and safety requirements of this role in conjunction with the health and safety manager
- Mentor staff through any complex situations, bringing the heart of Causeway’s trauma informed approach and consulting with members of the management team when required.

Job Purpose
Your legacy will be a tangible impact on slowing down climate change, helping nature recover and creating social impact by leading on landowner and stakeholder engagement for the Lower Chew Landscape Recovery project that will see thousands of acres of local land managed in harmony with nature. You will join a fast-growing organisation that started in 2019 with four volunteers and has grown to a staff team of thirteen (which will double over 2024), over 1,000 volunteers and ownership of 170 acres (soon to be 600 acres) of land that will grow woodlands of over 160,000 trees.
The project
Landscape Recovery is one of Defra’s three environmental land management schemes. Avon Needs Trees has been awarded development phase funding for Landscape Recovery in the Lower Chew. This is a unique opportunity to help co-design nature’s recovery and social impact at a landscape scale. The project will engage existing landowners and managers across over 867 hectares of land in the Lower Chew, an area where good quality but fragmented woodland provides a basis for woodland connectivity and large-scale woodland creation, as part of a mosaic of grassland and woodland habitat. This locally-cherished landscape of rolling farmland on the edge of Bristol is the strategic setting for delivering local environmental and social priorities. Avon Needs Trees woodland projects include two Wiltshire Woodlands, the Great Avon Wood, Ed Woods, and the upcoming Lower Chew Forest.
Main responsibilities
● Join and help to lead our journey to discover the increased impact that private finance can bring to nature’s recovery
● Become our in-house expert on the local natural capital market and other forms of bringing private finance into nature’s recovery, including identifying and building relationships with potential future partners
● Being a strong advocate, internally and externally, for the landscape recovery project and the benefits it will deliver
● Leading on the delivery of the blended finance and business model for landscape recovery project, including:
○ Baselining agricultural finances
○ Finance model design, development and implementation
○ Landowner consultation on blended finance and business model
○ Developing a framework for natural capital
○ Ensuring legal agreements are compatible with blended finance models

Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. We are also very proud of our UR4Driving programme, which supports people recently out of prison with free driving lessons in exchange for community volunteering. Gaining a driving licence greatly enhances their future employability prospects and helps break the cycle of re-offending. The role
This newly scoped role reports into the CEO and is critical to our ability to create the income we need to keep up with the ever-increasing demand on our services. Primarily, the role has two fundamental elements to it: firstly, working with both a specialist external consultant and the CEO in planning, submitting and reporting on the grants that make up a large proportion of our income; and secondly, the planning and managing of TUR’s traditional (and always fun) annual events. These include celebrity interviews and talks, garden parties and various community events such as the Green Days festival in Chiswick. There are additionally a number of community relationships that add great value to our work and efforts to raise funds which require regular contact. Occasionally, the role will also require presenting or talking to both funders and community groups as we share our magnificent story with them – and ultimately, convince them to support us.
About You
You live within – or know well – West/Central London; you probably need a job with some working flexibility and want to have genuine belief in the cause you’re promoting. You have a CV that demonstrates experience in a comparable role: this could be in another charity, CIC or other Non-Profit organisation. You are comfortable and confident with working autonomously, so you will need to be disciplined; you can articulate and ‘bring to life’ our story through your advanced written and oral communication skills, enabling us to always deliver highly compelling reasons to secure gain financial (and other) support. You don’t need to be a Microsoft Office expert, but you should be familiar with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
