The Support Worker will join Womankind’s staff team based in central Bristol,
providing trauma‑informed, practical and emotional support to young women
aged 16–18 affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence so that they can
access counselling at Womankind. They will also provide emotional and
signposting support to women accessing Womankind’s Waiting Well Service.
They will be responsible for coordinating referrals, delivering welfare calls and
carrying out triage assessments, supporting safe transitions into service with
Womankind, liaising closely with partner agencies to ensure warm handovers and
clear referral pathways. The Support Worker will contribute to high‑quality, safe
service delivery by maintaining accurate records, responding appropriately to
safeguarding concerns, and upholding Womankind’s values and commitment to
empowering women.

To plan and coordinate a wide range of events on behalf of the Bishop of Carlisle, ensuring that all events are well-organised and effectively managed from inception through to completion. Circumstances

Event Planning & Forward Planning

• Maintain a forward-planning events calendar for Bishop's House, ensuring that all upcoming events are identified well in advance and preparation commences at the appropriate time.
• Proactively manage event timelines, monitoring tasks, milestones and deadlines to ensure smooth delivery.
• Produce and maintain event planning checklists and briefing notes for each event, ensuring all parties are well informed of their responsibilities.
• Conduct post-event reviews to identify learning and improve future event delivery.

Invitations & Booking Administration

• Manage the full invitation process for Bishop's House events, including drafting and sending invitations, co-ordinating RSVPs and maintaining accurate guest lists using the Try booking system.
• Administer event registrations, follow-up communications and any waiting list management through Try booking system.
• Ensure all event data is accurately recorded and maintained to support reporting and evaluation.

Catering & Hospitality

• Arrange and co-ordinate all catering requirements for events, including briefing caterers, confirming dietary requirements and ensuring presentation standards meet the expectations of Bishop's House.
• Source and manage catering suppliers, obtaining quotes and ensuring value for money in line with the Bishop's financial policies.
• Ensure that appropriate hospitality is in place for all events, including day to day hospitality, maintaining the welcoming and professional ethos of Bishop's House.

Venue Management & Logistics

• Liaise with venue to co-ordinate bookings, room layouts, facilities requirements and logistical arrangements for events held there.
• Ensure that all equipment, materials, resources and room layouts required for each event are prepared and in place ahead of time.
• Conduct pre-event checks at venues to ensure everything is in order, addressing any issues promptly.
• Manage the set-up and break-down of events at Bishop's House and at other Diocesan venues as required.

Flagship & Specialist Events

• Royal Maundy: Provide co-ordination and administrative support for all arrangements relating to Royal Maundy nominations and associated ceremonies, liaising with the Lord Chamberlain's Office and other relevant parties as required.
• Garden Party: Manage the nominations process for the King's Garden parties at Buckingham Palace, co-ordinating all associated travel arrangements and communications with nominees on behalf of the Bishop.
• Clergy Spouse Events: Liaise with the Bishop's Household to co-ordinate events for clergy spouses, including managing invitations, catering, programmes and any pastoral considerations.
• Support the organisation of residentials, teaching days and other gatherings as directed by the Bishop's Chaplain.

Communication & Stakeholder Liaison

• Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related queries from internal and external stakeholders, responding in a timely, professional and hospitable manner.
• Liaise with Diocesan departments (Communications, Finance, Property, Secretariat) and external suppliers to ensure joined-up event delivery.
• Provide timely updates and briefing notes to the Bishop's Chaplain on event planning progress.
• Responsible for sending out communications from the Bishop using relevant systems.

Financial Administration

• Manage event budgets in conjunction with the Bishop's Chaplain, tracking expenditure and ensuring events are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
• Process invoices relating to events in accordance with Diocesan financial procedures.

General

• Uphold and promote the Diocese of Carlisle's commitment to safeguarding in all event planning and delivery.
• To undertake Health and Safety duties
• To assist the Bishop's EAs with office administration
• Undertake other duties as reasonably required by the Bishop's Chaplain and Bishop's EAs.

Role outline and purpose

The Organising and Local Mobilisation (OLM) Manager is responsible for managing ongoing support to food banks as they organise and campaign for change. This varied, proactive, and fast-paced role will involve working closely with grant funded Local Organisers as part of Trussell’s Organising Programme, frequently visiting food banks and delivering online and in person training.

You will hold responsibility for providing direct support as food banks develop effective campaign strategies – covering local and Trussell priorities – and ensuring they have the capacity, skills, and resources to deliver them. You will also work closely with other departments at Trussell and external partners to support food banks outside of the Organising Programme to influence locally and play a leading role in mobilising them to campaign for change. 

This role is part of Trussell’s Supportive Communities programme, the goal of which is to enable local communities to become places where people at risk of needing to use a food bank are supported and are using their agency to bring about meaningful changes that prevent anybody from needing emergency food. This role is focused on the successful delivery of the overall programme outcomes, contributing to the fulfilment of our long term vision of a UK without the need for food banks.

Role responsibilities

· Network area-wide delivery of the Organising Programme: Lead and manage the delivery of OLM’s Organising Programme in your network area, recruiting food banks to join, providing in person and online training and ongoing relational support to Local Organisers to ensure campaign strategies are developed and delivered. Organise and lead area-wide training, clusters, or events for food bank staff and volunteers to promote co-operation and sharing of good practice around local influencing. 

· Training, learning and programme development: Play a key role in the design and delivery of a programme of training and other learning for food banks covering organising, mobilising, and influencing. Contributing to impact and process evaluations and assisting food banks involved to explore future sources of funding, as required.

· Supporting food banks to influence locally: Empower food banks to develop their local influencing work, triaging influencing issues and managing input from other relevant Trussell Trust experts to provide ongoing support that enables the food bank to progress their influencing work. 

· Mobilising food banks in Trussell’s campaigns: Support the development and promotion of national Trussell policy campaigns, working with other teams and external partners to engage the food banks you support in taking action - including how they might take ownership of campaigns locally and help shape those priorities.

· Internal stakeholder engagement: Project manage OLM’s involvement in assigned cross-organisational projects – e.g. a policy campaign or strategic project, ensuring the OLM team are consulted, negotiating with other teams and making decisions accordingly. As part of an area-based matrix team you’ll work closely with other food bank facing staff to ensure a joined up approach to food bank support, effective communication, as well as sharing learning and best practice. 

· External stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with food bank leaders, staff, volunteers, and trustees, as well as establishing effective partnerships with a range of stakeholders such as local authorities, community organisations, and churches. 

Person Specification

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

·  Experience of delivering organising work and/or campaigning for change at a grassroots, local and/or national level. 

· Excellent knowledge and understanding of the political landscape of your assigned area. 

· A confident communicator with the ability to successfully influence and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders, including food bank staff and volunteers, local authorities, community organisations, and churches.

PCN Cancer Care Coordinator

About the Role

We are excited to recruit a PCN Cancer Care Coordinator to support people living with cancer across the Clifton and The Meadows Primary Care Network in Nottingham.

This role is central to delivering a holistic, person‑centred cancer care coordination service, supporting patients beyond clinical treatment and ensuring their wider emotional, practical and social needs are met. Working closely with GP practices, Primary Care Network colleagues, and the voluntary and community sector, you will help improve experiences and outcomes for people affected by cancer.

You will work in direct partnership with Self Help UK’s Macmillan Beyond Diagnosis Service, carrying out Cancer Care Reviews and Holistic Needs Assessments (eHNA), developing care and support plans, and helping people to access the right support at the right time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting people newly diagnosed with cancer through Cancer Care Reviews and eHNAs
• Creating individualised care and support plans based on each person’s needs
• Acting as a single point of access for non‑clinical cancer support
• Referring and signposting patients to appropriate voluntary and community services
• Working closely with GP practices to ensure reviews are recorded on NHS systems
• Supporting work to increase cancer screening uptake, especially within targeted communities
• Building strong relationships across health, social care and the voluntary sector
• Ensuring safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection standards are upheld

You’ll work flexibly across GP practices, community settings, patients’ homes and the Self Help UK office in Nottingham, with some home working available.

My client offers flexible hybrid working, with 2 days a week in their Central London office.

We are looking for an experienced youth worker to join our team and lead our Short Breaks project, which provides activities and support specifically for children and young people who have autism and have low to moderate support needs. Camp Mohawk is a woodland activity centre that provides support to children, young people and families from across the South of England.

The children and young people (approximately 100 individuals) supported by the project are aged 8 to approximately 25 years and are largely independent in terms of their self care but have a variety of social, sensory and sometimes medical needs that mean it is very difficult for them to participate in mainstream activities. Our Short Breaks service offers after school activities (in 3 age groups) on Tuesdays and Thursdays in term time, as well as full days of activities once per week in school holidays. These activities give the young people essential social opportunities during which they are supported with things they find challenging, encouraged to express their natural personalities and explore and develop their interests. During these sessions they can receive support to develop their social skills if that is what they need, and can take part in fun activities with their peers. The groups generally cater for between 10 and 20 young people per session.

To be a good fit for this role, you will need to be an exceptional and dedicated childcare / youth worker who has proven experience of supporting and safeguarding children and young people, particularly those who have autism. You should have experience of planning inclusive activities, managing budgets and supervising teams of staff. The role is very much a ‘hands on’ role working directly with the project beneficiaries for the majority of the post hours - you must be able to commit to working the majority of Tuesday (16.00 - 19.30) and Thursday (18.30 - 22.00) evenings in term time, and at least one full day (09.00 - 17.30) per week during school holidays, with the exception of the Christmas holidays when the centre is closed. You will work 10 hours per month on project associated admin which can be undertaken remotely and largely at times that suit you. You must have a full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle that is insured for business use. Camp Mohawk is not easily accessible by public transport, whilst some Short Breaks activities take place at off site locations in Reading, Wokingham, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Slough and surrounding areas.

The current post holder also works in the role of Duty Manager for other school holiday days / term time weekend days. This aspect of the role, which will be an optional add on to the Short Breaks Coordinator role with negotiable hours, would be undertaken on a rotational basis with our 4 other Duty Managers. The role involves overseeing the daily delivery of general Family Sessions which support families who have children of all ages and who have a wide range of special needs and disabilities. In this role you will guide and supervise a team of support staff and volunteers through set up of the facilities at the start of the day, oversee the smooth and effective delivery of the service and support families during their visits, work effectively within our Safeguarding Lead Team, and supervise the cleaning and close down of facilities once the session has completed.

Ideally, you'll have experience in a fundraising or income-generation role, and a track record of developing relationships which lead to tangible support. This role will work closely with SYEDA's CEO to explore opportunities to amplify the work that we do, and bolster support to ensure that work can continue, and having strong networks and the confidence to build new ones will be key to the role. About the Role

Last year Smart Works Leeds hit an important milestone when they supported over 1000 women with their coaching and dressing service. Over the next 12 months and beyond, there are plans to grow the service even further and ensure that all unemployed women located in Yorkshire are aware of the transformative service available to them at Smart Works.

The Fundraising and Partnership Lead will focus on the corporate and stakeholder partnership fundraising activity, supporting the Head of Fundraising to generate a six‑figure annual income portfolio. The role involves identifying, approaching and converting new corporate prospects into engaged funding partners aligned with the charity’s cause and objectives.

They will work with the Fundraising team and the Board of Trustees to deliver the fundraising strategy, activity plan and support the organisation’s long‑term sustainability.

Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with this well-known health charity to help them identify a dynamic Interim Head of Philanthropy. This 9 month temporary position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead high-value relationship fundraising and shape the organisation's philanthropic growth strategy, delivering lasting impact for the community they serve. This is a 4 day per week role, with 1 day a week/fortnight in their London office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for high-value relationship fundraising, aligned with organisational goals and priorities.
• Lead a team to secure multi-year gifts from major donors, trusts, statutory agencies, and foundations.
• Build and nurture a robust pipeline of prospects from identification through to long-term engagement.
• Inspire, develop, and support team members to achieve fundraising targets, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusivity.
• Design and oversee stewardship programmes that connect donors to the organisation’s vision and impact.
• Advocate for the team’s needs across the organisation to unlock operational support and organizational alignment.
• Represent the organisation externally, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and high-net-worth individuals.
• Optimise the use of Salesforce and other systems to maximise efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver a seamless supporter experience, embedding the organisation’s values.

Person Specification

• Extensive experience in securing and developing high-value, multi-year gifts from individual and trust funders.
• Proven leadership ability to inspire and develop teams, with a track record of embedding high standards and fostering a positive culture.
• Strong strategic thinker with excellent operational delivery skills, including pipeline development and donor proposition creation.
• Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and stewardship skills.
• Experience of working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Comfortable working independently with resilience and clarity, able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Understanding of UK philanthropy trends and sector innovations.

What’s on Offer
Day Rate: £237.15 PAYE + £34.34 holiday pay per day. This is a part time, 4 day per week role with 1 day per week/fortnight in their London office.
