We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic individual to build up Shieldfield Art Work’s fundraising programme and contribute to our strategy. This is a vital part of our work as we seek to become more sustainable and resilient in an ever challenging climate.
Our ideal candidate will have good experience in developing and implementing a robust fundraising strategy in order to take the strategic fundraising work of our community arts hub into a new chapter. You will also be able to articulate your active Christian faith, be able to explain SAW's Christian ministry and show ability to be able to write for both Christian and secular funders with different priorties.
You will need to be self-motivated and confident in your expertise. The role is suitable for candidates who are experienced in larger and multi-year applications to trusts and foundations (ideally in the cultural sector), developing individual giving campaigns and CSR channels, cultivating donor relationships and a good storyteller, to tell the story of and champion SAW. You must be motivated particularly by the social impact and outreach work that we deliver.

About the role
The Public Fundraising Manager (Stewardship and Retention) is responsible for leading public fundraising programmes across retention campaigns, newsletters, community and events, legacy and in-memory giving. Supported Living Manager - Bridlington and Hull

PVRI is a small charity with a global reach. Our aim is to reduce the global burden of Pulmonary Vascular Disease with a particular focus on Pulmonary Hypertension (PH).

Direct Marketing Manager, European New Donors

Reporting to the Director of New Donor Engagement, the Direct Marketing Manager leads IFAW’s international new donor acquisition and global reactivation efforts. This role oversees the strategy and execution of IFAW’s direct mail and face-to-face fundraising for four European markets: Germany, France, UK and The Netherlands. This role also designs and executes strategies to re-engage long lapsed supporters in all markets. Collaborate with the digital acquisition team to amplify results and leverage the strategies to attract new donors and reactivate lapsed donors. The manager collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and in alignment with organizational goals.
Role and Responsibilities
· Lead all facets of direct mail new donor acquisition and reactivation programs, including strategic planning, budget oversight, creative strategy, vendor management, and process optimization.
· Support and participate in direct response TV campaigns and leverage that strategy to amplify results in direct mail and face to face channels.
· Develop and implement country-specific acquisition and reactivation strategies to maintain or grow donor file size in alignment with departmental goals.

· Contribute to the development and management of the annual budget and three-year projections, ensuring alignment with strategic fundraising priorities.
· Deliver timely and accurate monthly forecast updates to the Director of New Donor Engagement, accompanied by a clear narrative outlining key performance trends, strategic adjustments, and changes impacting acquisition and reactivation campaigns.
· Review vendor contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and alignment with organizational policies, fundraising ethics, and operational expectations. Ensure that vendors operate within contractual agreements.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
· 5+ years of direct marketing experience, preferably within a nonprofit or fundraising context
· Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of self-motivation, effective time management, and team development
· Proven success managing cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute complex projects on schedule and within scope
· Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and donor engagement
· Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed fundraising goals, with a solid understanding of donor acquisition and retention strategies
· Global marketing exposure or international campaign experience is highly desirable

This exciting role has been created to develop a new campaigns function at the Mental Health Foundation, incorporating our existing media team and working closely with policy, research and lived experience colleagues across the UK, with the aim of driving support for policy change.
What does the role involve?
- Developing a campaigns strategy for MHF and deliver its execution.
- Manage the campaigns and media team, commission engaging content, oversee campaign budgets, and collaborate with stakeholders to create a better policy environment for good mental health.
- Contribute to the leadership of the Mental Health Foundation and its Policy and Influencing Directorate.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
- Experience of developing and implementing campaign strategies to support policy change in the charity sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of communication disciplines (e.g. digital marketing, media relations, content creation) and how they integrate to achieve campaign objectives.
- Understanding of mental health policy, prevention and public health.

What you’ll do
• Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of Racing Welfare’s digital marketing and communications activity across owned digital channels.

• Line manage and support the Digital Marketing Assistant, providing development support in a fast-paced communications environment.
• Create and deliver clear, engaging digital content across social media, websites and email, working collaboratively with colleagues across all Racing Welfare's departments.
• Produce high quality marketing materials in house, including campaign assets, promotional materials and event programmes, using Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign and Canva.
• Manage and develop Racing Welfare’s websites and digital platforms.

• Attend welfare, fundraising and industry events where required, to capture content for digital channels.
What you’ll bring
• Proven experience delivering high quality digital marketing and communications activity across multiple platforms.
• Strong creative and design capability, with experience producing marketing materials and publications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting ability and attention to detail.
• Experience managing websites, with a good understanding of HTML, plus a working knowledge of SEO and content optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of digital analytics, reporting and performance measurement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising competing demands, managing deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
• Experience of line managing and/or supporting an assistant team member.
• Confidence using Adobe Creative Cloud, ideally including InDesign and Canva.
• Knowledge of, or experience working with, mobile or web-based app platforms is desirable, as is an interest in horseracing and or social welfare.

Grants Manager
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum

We're now hiring a Grants Manager, who will play a key role in the delivery and development of MQ’s research funding programmes. Working under the direction of the Programme lead, you will take day-to-day ownership of capacity building initiatives and funding programmes, managing activity across the full grants lifecycle from funding call design through to award completion, learning, and reporting.
The role combines hands-on programme coordination with increasing responsibility for project planning, stakeholder engagement, decision-making support, and continuous improvement. The right person will be passionate about tackling mental health, and driven to ensure that all projects happen to the highest possible standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme & Grant Management – Develop and maintain project and programme plans, including objectives, timelines, stakeholders, and monitoring. Coordinate the delivery of assigned funding programmes and projects across the full grants lifecycle.
- Partnership Management – Support new research initiatives, working with consortium partners to ensure high-quality execution and learning.
- Relationship Management – Act as a primary point of contact for applicants, awardees, and external collaborators. Support post-award grant management, including monitoring progress, reviewing reports, flagging risks, and preparing award letters and official communications to grant recipients.
- Impact Management & Reporting – Support impact tracking, monitoring, and reporting across funded programmes, including coordinating and reviewing Research.
- Grant Calls, Peer Review & Committees – Support the planning and delivery of funding calls, including documentation, timelines, and assessment processes.
- Financial, Systems & Process Support – Support award contracting and work with Finance to coordinate payments and monitor grant spend. Use and maintain the grants management system (FlexiGrant), ensuring accurate records and reporting.
- Engagement & Learning – Support the delivery of launch events, workshops, and conferences and engagement with lived experience experts across programmes. Also, prepare engagement letters and supporting materials for lived experience experts, ensuring expectations and commitments are clearly communicated.
Person Specification
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in grants management, programme coordination, research funding, or a related role.
- Experience managing projects or programmes with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presenting to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of academic research processes and experience engaging with universities, research institutions, or research charities.
- Good organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Financial awareness, with experience supporting budgets, invoices, or grant spend.
- Confidence using digital systems, databases, and grants management or CRM platforms (or ability to learn quickly).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively and escalating issues appropriately.
