Role Overview
Working in the AdOps team, you will be helping develop campaign strategies based on our client needs. Campaign Associates are responsible for writing corresponding media plans and running campaigns on our own digital advertising platform (called Advocate) and other platforms, to ensure campaign goals are met.

About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in three of our schools in Birmingham and The Black Country. The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteer tutors and coaches, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of our programmes is optimised. The role is based in Moseley School, Wood Green Academy and Ormiston Forge Academy.As this job is based in three schools Monday to Thursday each week and regular travel is required, a full UK driver's license is advantageous. The role can be based from home on Fridays when online team meetings and training takes place.
Role responsibilities
- Work directly with students, mentoring in an impactful, professional and safe manner.
- Engage with school staff, your Programme Manager, and students in school to ensure that you have fully enrolled cohorts across all programmes.
- Coordinate the delivery of the programmes across allocated schools, acting as the sole on‑site representative of The Access Project.

The Upper Room (TUR) works with individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, social exclusion and involvement with the criminal justice system. Through UR4Meals, UR4Driving and UR4Jobs, we provide practical support, dignity and opportunity to some of the most disadvantaged members of our community in West London.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative and dynamic person with a proven track record in creating, delivering and managing digital content across social media platforms to develop, implement and manage strategies to grow our online presence and raise our profile.
You’ll have demonstrable experience across a wide range of social media platforms with the ability to craft engaging content to build a rapport with your audience while continuing to uphold our brand and professional values. You will be managing multiple accounts held by the charity.
You will have experience of using third party management tools to create, plan and schedule content, analysing reach and engagement, and using analytical tools to help make informed decisions about our digital marketing strategies. You will regularly report back to the management team feeding into our wider strategy discussions, making recommendations on future campaigns.
You will be part of a wider communications team, working alongside the PR & Communications Manager, reporting to one of the trustees, fostering an organisation-wide approach working with all colleagues to ensure a planned, structured and collaborative approach to our communications and marketing planning.
As a small charity, flexibility is key to meet the needs of our shifting priorities and in between delivering and managing social media content – your primary focus – you will additionally support wider marketing activities with creation of digital content to support charity advertising, support the development of our online (web) content and more general activities across the communications team. While there will be some level of existing experience, training will be provided for anything bespoke.
As part of the role, you will help our UK-based volunteers to develop local social media activities and support them as required. This may involve making recommendations in their approach, supporting content creation and upskilling them to gain confidence in using social media.
The role is remote and the successful applicant can work from a location of their choice, making optimum use of video conferencing and online collaboration tools to connect with the wider communications team.

The job
The Consultant: social media & brand (account manager equivalent) is a full-time, hybrid, permanent position at Cast from Clay. No two days are the same. As a team of 12+ based in the UK and Ukraine, we get involved in everything. You could be researching, planning and writing social media content, crafting brand strategies, developing creative concepts, or managing client relationships.
We’re not expecting you to come in and lead client accounts from day one, but over time, our goal is to coach you into a place where you can. What we do expect is for you to lead the execution. We are looking for someone who can take a project brief and run with it. You need to be able to deliver high-quality work on time with little hand-holding, becoming the person the client calls when they need to know a job will get done.
We’re looking for someone who is intellectually curious. If you love exploring ideas, their impact on the world, and understanding how people relate to them, you’ll fit right in. Importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to learn and grow, who is hungry for career progression, and who gets a kick out of working hard and doing amazing things.

At least 3 years experience in a communications agency, in-house and/or in a communications-related role.

A strong understanding of how social platforms work. You will be familiar with audience engagement, community management, and platform algorithms.

Experience of setting up and managing organic and paid campaigns (social/PPC). You can track performance, interpret metrics, and use data to refine the approach.

The ability to write high-quality content tailored to distinct brand voices. You are a storyteller who can translate technical, jargon-heavy topics into compelling narratives.

Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to manage client expectations and offer constructive pushback when necessary.

Excellent attention to detail, diligent and proactive. You can manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.

You will act as a spokesperson for the organisation, write and develop communications campaigns, respond to current events, and help grow our membership and supporter base.
The Peace Pledge Union (PPU) is a pacifist campaigning organisation that has promoted nonviolence and opposed war since 1934. We challenge the systems and ideas that normalise militarism, promote peaceful alternatives, and organise the annual white poppy campaign in remembrance of all victims of war.

The Opportunity
Working closely with our President, Board, partners, staff, volunteers and our members, the CEO will be the visible voice of BSAVA—shaping our strategy, driving influence across the sector, and ensuring operational excellence. You will own the Programme of Change and lead its successful delivery, strengthening our organisational culture, systems and practices, while ensuring BSAVA continues to thrive as a values‑driven, evidence‑led and member‑centred Association.
The CEO will broaden our reach and impact, champion member value, and strengthen relationships across academia, industry, the wider veterinary profession, and international networks. You will position BSAVA as a modern, relevant, and agile organisation—one that supports veterinary professionals to deliver outstanding care and sustain fulfilling careers.
About You
We are looking for an inspirational and strategic leader who brings:
- A track record of shaping and delivering organisation‑wide strategy and growth at a senior level.
- Experience of leading complex change, with the ability to unite people behind a compelling vision.
- Commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to develop and diversify income streams.
- Outstanding leadership credentials, with the ability to motivate, empower and develop high‑performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse groups.
- Confidence navigating ambiguity, making measured decisions, and driving clarity and focus through times of transformation.
We are open to candidates from all sectors and whilst experience within membership associations or the non‑profit/charity sector is beneficial it is not essential. What matters most is your ability to influence, collaborate, innovate, and champion a profession that plays a vital role in improving the health and welfare of small animals.
