THE ROLE
The postholder will support the Prevention Coordinator to ensure events are delivered safely and effectively.
They will offer information, advice and guidance to people facing issues that are currently or may soon affect their housing security — delivering swift, impactful interventions that help reduce the risk of homelessness, and advocating and mediating on clients' behalf as they navigate complex bureaucratic systems. This role involves building meaningful relationships with some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, connecting them with the Welfare Benefits, Housing Allocations, Citizens Advice, mental health and substance misuse support they need and deserve.
The postholder will work closely with a wide range of partners, including homelessness service providers, local authorities, and healthcare and wellbeing organisations. They will carry a varied caseload, conducting assessments and working creatively to navigate the complex and challenging issues that can lead to clients becoming homeless, supporting them to engage with services. Working closely with SPEAR's Homeless Health Link Team, they will support colleagues with client-facing work and carry a caseload of clients requiring homelessness prevention support.
This role will be spread across 4 days per week.

To be a key member of the staff team delivering the Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Services. Hertfordshire Mind Network’s Nightlight Service (Cafés, Helpline, 24/7 Crisis House, A&E Liaison service and Daylight provision) is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention, and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways.
We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our Helpline, Cafes and 24/7 Crisis House. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary. As a member of our diverse team, you will work closely with service users in crisis, by using a person-centred approach to ensure that everyone is supported with dignity and respect. The Limbless Association is seeking a proactive, creative and resourceful Development Officer to enable the charity to extend its reach across the south west.

The Amputee Network Development Officer will play a pivotal role in the LA realising its outreach aims in the region. The Exempt Accommodation Support Service is based at our main hub in Digbeth but provides outreach support across the city. We are looking for project workers to provide flexible, person-centred support to people aged 25 years plus who are precariously accommodated, have a history of homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless. It will primarily be supporting people living in exempt accommodation who have support needs relating to substance use, physical health and mental health.
The aims of this service are to provide additional support to improve access and sustainment of suitable accommodation for people engaging in structured drug and alcohol treatment, to reduce the scale of unmet housing need for this group of clients and to build evidence of housing-related need and effective interventions. The service will provide a range of practical support around finances, health and wellbeing, access to volunteering or training opportunities and integration into local communities as well as supporting continued engagement with treatment and tenancy sustainment.
This is a part office-based, part community-based role with a requirement to travel to accommodation providers and outreach sites. Travel expenses will be paid for any journeys undertaken.
Key tasks (selection of):
1. Provide a person-centred service to individuals, taking a psychologically informed approach, advising and supporting to ensure that clients are given choice and control about how their support is delivered.
2. Assist with practical support such as travel issues, settling into accommodation and addressing any immediate accommodation issues.
3. Ensure individuals have access to key services, including health care, substance misuse, and wellbeing services.
4. Manage an active caseload of clients, keeping effective and up to date records and monitoring outcomes through our CRM database system.
5. To support with timely reporting information regarding visits, support plans and session notes.

Purpose of the role:
The Support Services Manager position will be based at Bristol and the primary purpose will be to oversee Unseen’s frontline team to ensure that the organisation is fulfilling our obligations under the Victim Care contract by ensuring that potential victims of trafficking are safely accommodated and that they are supported to access the services needed in order to begin the process of recovery from their experiences.
