About the Role
As General Manager, you will play a central role in leading and developing the work of The Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship, raising its profile and ensuring its long-term sustainability. You will oversee the overall management of the charity, alongside the effective operation of the Victoria League Student House.
This is a broad and hands-on leadership position, combining strategic development with day-to-day operational oversight. You will drive key fundraising initiatives and business development opportunities, as well as support the House Manager and their team, and the Membership and Administration Officer.

About the role
You’ll be the main contact for the national training team providing support directly to kinship carers, training facilitators and others relating to the access and delivery of training events and workshops.
You’ll provide professional and effective administrative and technical support to training operations, including co-ordinating logistics, publishing event details, administrating the back-end data, supplier communication, financial administration and attending in person and online events to ensure smooth delivery.
Key responsibilities:
Training event coordination

ABOUT THE JOB
Job Purpose
We are looking for an exemplary people-oriented administrator to provide administrative support to the Gestalt Centre CEO and the workstreams she manages. An important role in the organisation, working with senior leadership and across teams, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.
Areas of work and responsibility

- Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the CEO leads on: Operations, Communications and Marketing, Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications, HR, Finance, Policies, Fundraising and Health & Safety.
- Liaise with the CEO and the leadership team to update the organisational plan and workstream plans, also keep track of relevant priority actions and progress.

Primary purpose of the role:
WECare’s Finance Officer will support the Head of Finance in the day-to-day financial operations of the charity, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported. WECare is a vet and nurse run charity providing high standard veterinary care to the millions of roaming dogs in Sri Lanka in need of vet care.
Kairos Women Working Together (Kairos) was founded in 1999 by a group of women in Coventry who recognised that those facing multiple disadvantages, and therefore most at risk of sexual exploitation, were falling through the cracks of existing services. From grassroots beginnings, Kairos has grown into a respected, feminist led, specialist women’s organisation rooted in the community it serves.
Over the next 5 years, Kairos will strengthen our new Women’s Hub as a safe, accessible, trauma-informed women’s centre delivering best practice responses, expand our services to meet women’s needs, strengthen partnerships, and influence systems so that no woman is left behind.

Finance Manager (Part-Time)

About the role
You will lead on all financial reporting, planning and compliance, and ensure financial information is accurate, timely and useful for decision-making. Board & Leadership
- Advise the CEO and Board on all financial matters, ensuring all legal and financial requirements are met.

The Finance & Compliance Officer will typically report to Finance Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Financial Management & Accounting (UK charity context)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with UK charity good practice and organisational financial policies.
• Manage the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll journals, and bank transactions.
• Process payments in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders (team members, suppliers, partners, consultants), ensuring appropriate approvals, documentation, and compliance with delegated authority.
• Record and monitor income and expenditure, ensuring accurate project coding and fund allocation.
• Prepare monthly journals including accruals, prepayments, deferred income and inter-fund adjustments.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and full balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all control accounts are supported.
• Raise and process invoices where required (including consultant invoicing), and coordinate internal approval workflows for payment processing.
• Maintain and regularly update the medical insurance tracker and supplier payment tracker.
• Monitor and follow up on partnership (sub-grantee) agreements and payments, as well as programme consultancy trackers, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness.

• Support with the preparation of management reporting packs for budget holders (actual vs budget vs forecast), with variance analysis and explanatory commentary.
• Support cross-departmental budget coordination to ensure compliance with donor agreements and funding conditions.
