About the Role
These roles are based in Cumberland North (Carlisle), Cumberland West (Workington) and Westmorland & Furness (Barrow). There is a requirements to travel to meet clients & work across areas as required, with a combination of home and office working.
As a Children and Young People IDVA (CHIDVA), you will play a vital role in providing high quality, end-to-end support to children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse across Cumberland. You will act as the single point of contact for young victims throughout their recovery process, delivering support and interventions in a group setting or one-to-one basis.
You will need: -
You will have a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on child victim/survivors.
You will understand safety and risk and how it relates to children and have strong communication skills and the confidence and ability to present and educate service users and agency partners on the realities and impacts of domestic abuse in a variety of settings. An ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload is essential.
You will have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning. You should have demonstrable experience of working in a similar setting or position.
To be successful in this role you should have good IT skills & thorough safe guarding awareness.
This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. About the role:
This Team management post will take a lead role within Next Link Domestic Abuse services, supporting women, men and children experiencing or who have experienced domestic violence and abuse.
This Manager has primary responsibility for managing an integrated staff team to deliver:
- South Glos IDVA Service
- MARAC representation

- DRIVE
Collaborating with other Managers in Next Link, Missing Link and Safe Link to maximise the achievement of the teams and wider organisational objectives and standards, promoting effective communication and
teamwork.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Female* IDVA Team Manager
· This IDVA Team Manager post will take responsibility for managing our team of Independent Domestic Violence Advisors operating across South Glos.
· Provide leadership and performance management for the staff team under your remit, manage the services according to service level agreements, ensuring staff work to high professional standards.
· Promote the service through building positive relationships with Survivors, Police, Lighthouse, current and potential referrers.
· Ensure effective access to the service for survivors and encourage their engagement with the service, through multi agency working and service flexibility.
· Co-ordinate and manage referral and support delivery process in line with the referrals and allocations policies and risk assessment procedures, ensuring a quick and effective response to meet client need.
· Determine staff caseloads and manage service and staff capacity, co-ordinating the team’s support of service users using the full range of contact and support methods.
· Ensure risk assessments (including DASH), safety plans, support plans, referrals, and risk management plans are carried out to a high standard and are managed appropriately and that the service is represented at the MARAC.
· Act as organisational MARAC lead jointly with our Service Manager in South Glos.
· Join our team of Safeguarding Officer’s across the organisations.
The successful candidate will:
· Have substantial experience of working with victims/survivors of sexual violence or domestic abuse.
· Team management experience, including staff support, supervision and performance management within the housing, domestic abuse, or similar support sector.
· Extensive experience of trauma informed practice and sensitively assessing and responding to the needs and risks of survivors and children experiencing domestic violence.
· Experience working with multi agency partners e.g. The Police, Social Services and MARAC.
· Experience of delivering presentations and/or training.
· Demonstrable experience of being proactive rather than reactive: focuses on preventing problems in the future rather than just resolving immediate issues.
· A current, full driving licence and access to appropriate motorised transport is essential.

We are currently seeking to appoint a part time Community Engagement Co-ordinator for our charity based in central London.
The Community Engagement Co-ordinator is responsible for developing with the Communications Manager a community engagement strategy for ScotsCare, in order to increase awareness and engagement with ScotsCare services and support, with the aim of increasing the number of people using ScotsCare services. A particular focus is on building relationships with organisations that engage with potential clients (ScotsCare service users), including councils, NHS, local community partners, service providers and other charities.
Key Duties include:

- Increase the visibility and understanding of the work of the charity.
- Attend community events (in-person and online) as a ScotsCare representative, including some evening and weekend events.

Based in with one of our partner organisations in Rochdale, you will ensure you deliver high quality legal services through casework and ensuring Legal Aid contract requirements and performance targets are met.
You will be able to identify test case opportunities to address systemic bad practice and so achieve change for a greater number of people and will work closely with the Managing Solicitor and the Hub.

- Be a qualified Solicitor - we are open to newly qualified candidates with a demonstrable interest in social justice, as well as those who have 3+ years PQE and a strong track record in housing law and Legal Aid work
- Deliver high-quality legal advice and representation under our work as part of the Housing Loss Prevention Service, which provides free legal advice and court representation to anyone at risk of losing their home.

The Role

About the role
This Debt Advice Case Manager role combines both technical and pastoral elements. It will involve building a client case, untangling sometimes complex situations, liaising with creditors, providing guidance for volunteers, and discerning and communicating the appropriate choices and strategies for the client. You will also need to lead client appointments and support clients through what at times can be emotionally difficult situations. About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Social Work Service at St Joseph’s Hospice, based in Hackney. As a Senior Social Worker, you will work as part of a committed and creative team, which offers innovative social care interventions and support to people with palliative and end-of-life care needs, and to their families, carers and children.
The social work team works in collaboration with other clinical professionals and volunteers across all areas of the service: inpatient, outpatient and community. The team includes social workers, a dedicated carers service lead and welfare benefits lead. In addition to clinical case work and line management responsibilities, the Senior Social Worker deputises for the Social Work Manager in their absence, providing cover for day-to-day operational matters.
