Role Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, but dynamic team at Access – The Foundations for Social Investment. The Assistant Management Accountant will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Access's financial records. The role will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and provide support to the Senior Finance and Operations Manager and Director of Finance and Operations.

Main responsibilities include:
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (guide c.85%)
- Keeping the accounting system up to date, ready for review by the Senior Finance and Operations Manager, this includes but not limited to weekly bank uploads, posting weekly and monthly journals and reconciling Access's bank accounts and balance sheet.
- Assisting the Senior Finance and Operations Manager with preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets and Access's year end audit.
- Supporting treasury management by maintaining cashflow records and assisting with forecasting future cash requirements.
- Managing the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Maintaining organised financial files to support monthly reporting and the year-end audit
- Work with the Finance team to ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place and are being followed in order to comply with financial regulations and internal policies
- Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time, consistent with the nature, level and responsibilities of the role
OPERATIONS, PEOPLE AND GOVERNANCE (guide c.15%) – scope dependent on number of hours worked

We have an exciting new opportunity to join Sovereign Network Group (SNG) as Finance Compliance Manager in our Rent Setting team. Based from our office in Wembley, you'll combine office and home working in line with our hybrid approach, with occasional travel to other sites as required.
The Role
Reporting to our Head of Rent Setting and Administration, you'll lead a specialist team responsible for ensuring full compliance with rent and service charge legislation, regulatory standards (including the rent standard and the leasehold and freehold reform act 2024), and internal policies across SNG's housing portfolio.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the accurate setting, reviewing and communication of rents and service charges, ensuring transparency, affordability and regulatory compliance, while supporting financial viability.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring compliance with national rent policy frameworks (EG Rent Standard 2020, RSH requirements) and relevant legislation (Housing Act 1985, Welfare Reform etc)
Owning the governance of rent and service charge policies, procedures and controls, ensuring they compliance and alignment to any changes in government regulations, as well as being clearly communicated and embedded in operational practice
Overseeing the annual rent and service charge setting and annual service charge actuals processes, including reviewing rent and service charge calculations, collating final rent and service charge data and updating systems with new charges.
Working with teams across Localities, Specialist Housing, Asset Management and Procurement to ensure accurate and timely setting of service charges and rent for both new and existing schemes and tenants
Identifying and managing rent and service charge compliance risks, ensuring material errors, regulatory breaches, or weak controls are escalated appropriately, remediation plans are delivered, lessons are learned and repeat failures are prevented
Owning the fair rent compliance framework, ensuring all fair rent accounts are maintained and updated, re-registrations are managed to schedule, successions are correctly monitored and recorded, and fair rent properties being re-let are promptly reclassified and charged in line with the Rent Standard and internal policies
Managing the Finance compliance team with a focus on articulating a clear vision, providing direction, and promoting a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
You'll be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or Qualified by Experience, with strong knowledge of rent setting and service charge processes within social housing. You'll also need:
In depth knowledge of UK rent legislation, regulatory frameworks and service charge principles affecting social housing (E.g. Rent Standard, Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024)
To be an experienced leader, skilled in developing high-performing teams and consistently maintaining high operational standards
Ability to take ownership and work independently whilst meeting tight organisational deadlines
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, demonstrating collaborative, cross-functional working relationships, including experience liaising with external stakeholders, e.g. auditors
Demonstrable experience with solving data quality issues and improving processes, including delivering key change initiatives in an organisation
Experience with NEC/Active H housing management systems, Workday or similar finance and housing management systems is desirable

Role Overview

Working across three mental health accommodation services in Camden and Barnet, you’ll be a central point of support for managers and colleagues. The Director of Finance will lead on all aspects of the Museum’s financial management, including producing monthly accounts and strengthening internal controls and processes. They will oversee treasury functions, including the management of the Museum’s cash holdings and endowments. Key Accountabilities

What you'll bring
Experience:
- Proven experience of leading a finance function at a senior level is essential, along with extensive experience shaping and delivering financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Experience of managing partial exemption VAT calculations and compliance is vital, along with a track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with auditors, regulators, trustees and external stakeholders.
- We would particularly welcome candidates with experience of working within the charity, not-for-profit, or a similarly regulated sector.
Knowledge & Skills
- You will be an excellent people manager, who has exceptional attention to detail and a robust understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Able to demonstrate strong initiative and accountability in delivering work to a high standard.
- Knowledge of restricted/unrestricted fund accounting and Gift Aid.
- You will have comprehensive knowledge of the full MS Suite, but will excel at Excel.

This is an exciting time to join the organisation, as we are planning the refurbishment of our flagship 10-bedroom supported accommodation service alongside ongoing development of our wider accommodation portfolio.
The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and effective operation of all facilities at York Road Project, which includes a 10-bedroom main site shelter and three additional properties comprising a further 14 beds. The role ensures all buildings are maintained to a high standard, remain fit for purpose, and meet statutory and regulatory requirements.

For a well-known charity in central London, we're recruiting an interim Financial Accountant until the end of February 2027 on a 3-4 day a week part-time basis. This role will lead on monthly balance sheet accounts, identify and correct ledger errors, and assist the Financial Controller with continuous improvements to the month-end process. The interim Financial Accountant will also support the Accounts Payable team with journals and PO system errors, reconcile payroll control accounts, and intercompany as well as sales ledger reconciliations and fixed assets.
Main Duties:

Role Purpose
The Finance and Accounting Officer is responsible for the accurate, timely and controlled execution of all transactional finance activities at Saint Paul’s Hammersmith, including financial transactions, payments, payroll, pensions, reconciliations and bookkeeping records. The role ensures financial integrity, compliance with charity and HMRC requirements, and the production of clean, well-organised and audit-ready records supporting decision-making by leadership and helping the wider church to steward resources with care and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Processing & Controls
- Process all income and expenditure in Xero in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure correct coding (fund, department, nominal code and budget line).
- Maintain a complete and auditable transaction record with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Perform monthly bank, credit card and control account reconciliations (fully resolved within reporting timelines).
- Post journals including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications.
2. Accounts Payable & Expenses
- Validate supplier invoices against approvals and budget authority.
- Process supplier payments in accordance with delegated authority matrix.
- Ensure expenses comply with policy and are fully supported.
- Maintain supplier master data and manage supplier queries.
3. Payroll & Pensions
- Prepare payroll inputs (starters, leavers, changes, adjustments).

4. Income, Giving & Gift Aid
