As an integral member of the fundraising team, the Fundraising Administrator will support the delivery of a range of successful fundraising activity based around the centre, in order to maximise income for Maggie’s.
As Fundraising Administrator, you will welcome and support visitors within the centre in their fundraising for Maggie’s as well as in the local community and ensuring they are motivated, informed and supported.
This is a demanding role in a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently.
There will be a requirement to work irregular hours as well as some local travel.

Oxford & Thames Valley Mobile Outreach Coordinator
Are you passionate about reducing health inequalities and supporting some of the most marginalised people in our communities?
We are recruiting for a compassionate, organised and proactive Mobile Outreach Coordinator to support our hepatitis C peer project in the Oxford & Thames Valley area. Peers use their lived experience to raise awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and help people access testing and treatment.
Working alongside healthcare professionals, peer volunteers, pharmacies and community organisations, you will drive the outreach van, and coordinate and deliver our mobile outreach service, bringing hepatitis C testing, harm reduction advice and healthcare support directly into local communities.
This is a varied and rewarding community-based role involving significant travel across the Oxford & Thames Valley region.
About the role
You will:
- Coordinate and deliver mobile outreach work activity across Oxford & Thames Valley
- Provide hepatitis C testing, harm reduction advice and Needle and Syringe Provision (NSP)
- Support people to access treatment, healthcare appointments and ongoing care
- Build partnerships with NHS teams, pharmacies, drug and alcohol services, homelessness services and other community organisations
- Recruit, supervise and support peer volunteers with lived experience
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the outreach van, including stock, equipment and session logistics

We are looking for a professional horticulturist: a confident organic gardener, ideally with an interest in agroecological, no-till and regenerative growing principles and potentially in horticultural therapy. As well as being accomplished in gardening especially vegetable production growing, a strong part of the role will be facilitating guests, school groups and volunteers. There will be many opportunities for training and professional development. The salary for this role will be £29-37k per annum, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities
The principal responsibility of an Associate Organiser is their own development: learning the craft of Community Organising under the guidance of an experienced Community Organiser. You will work intensively with a small number of member organisations under close supervision, growing your experience, skill and responsibility incrementally. An Associate Organiser is working towards becoming a competent practitioner of the craft of broad-based community organising methodology, and focuses on the building of relational power, the recruitment and retention of dues-paying institutions, the development of leaders, the strengthening of member institutions, leader-led public actions, and the winning of systemic change.
This role is particularly to organise with Be Well Organisations in Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley. Be Well Organisations may be faith, education, or community institutions, tackling isolation and poor mental health by: 1. Building relationships, 2. Signposting and offering practical support, and 3. Taking action on structural and systemic inequalities and injustices. But you may also work on other campaign priorities and responsibilities as needed across the team.
We are looking for people who are angry about injustice, who believe ordinary people have the power to make change, and who are motivated to learn the craft of Broad-based Organising. The role is hugely varied, and involves working across the two boroughs, in different institutions and context, and with a lot of independence.
Working as an Associate Organiser in South London Citizens, your main responsibilities will include:
Build relational power to further the goals of CUK
· Actively participate in the development of a comprehensive power analysis appropriate to the desired sphere of influence for each project/assignment

Overview
Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) is a pioneering charity aiming to improve the health, wellbeing, educational attainment and employability skills of the local community.
CACT are seeking two enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced individuals to deliver a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Flexible Support Fund employability programme, focusing on 16–24-year-olds living in Greenwich and Bexley who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). In collaboration with the DWP, CACT Employability Officer/s will design and deliver a ‘Youth Hub’ offer to support and guide young people to into Education, Employment or Training opportunities.
Job Purpose
· To work as a member of the ‘DWP Youth Hub’ project team to engage and enable young people to reach their full potential with education, training and employment opportunities.
· The project will provide one-to-one mentoring sessions with wraparound support.
· The postholder will identify and recruit a caseload of young people to support into and sustain their engagement in Education, Employment and Training.
· The programme will provide an opportunity for young people not in education, training or employment in Greater London area to access training and work experience to enable them to attain the skills and confidence to gain employment.
· The post holder will have a broad range of experience in building relationships with individuals from a range of backgrounds, alongside an ability to build and maintain relationships with employers.
· The post holder will co-ordinate and deliver one to one and group coaching sessions. Sessions will address essential skills for employment and provide practical support, interview coaching, careers information and guidance.
· The post holder will facilitate and / or signpost to wellbeing workshops and physical activity sessions to develop improved mindset, healthy lifestyles, mental health and self‐care. Working with multi-agency partners the post holder will seek to identify the barriers that have prevented young people from engaging in education and employment and help them to develop strategies to overcome these challenges
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· To provide one to one and group employability coaching sessions; in the community and online, enabling participants to identify, assess, and address barriers to engaging with education, employment, and training, as well as sourcing the most appropriate support.
· Work with young people to understand their strengths and develop person centred, targeted plans to help them achieve positive outcomes. Create individualised progress plans, which include identification of the wraparound support that needs to be provided (e.g., support to access housing or mental health services).
· Work closely with community groups and agencies such as Skills Academies Hubs, Local Integration Hubs, Job Centre Plus, to identify and recruit young people that would benefit most from the programme.
· Support a caseload and develop, contribute to, and deliver interventions to engage young people in education training and employment.
· To develop relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that a suitably diverse life skills and employability offer that meets young people’s needs and abilities.
· To work with local key worker support service to address any barriers to inclusion for young people they are working with.

Our Employability & Progression Manager is a key operational role within the Adult Learning, Skills and Employment service.
