About the Role

About You

We are looking for a part-time Operations Manager to support our Executive Director and wider team by taking an operational lead, keeping a birds eye view over all of our activities and our infrastructure - and ensuring the principles and processes we’ve collectively agreed to are working optimally.

Project Management: support the team with resources, templates and systems for them to do their work effectively, implementing and managing MDP's project management platform and ensure the team are supported through their work.

We are Zarach, the children’s bed charity, and we’re on a mission to end child bed poverty, helping children get a good night's sleep, and the chance to thrive at school.

Zarach is well established in West Yorkshire and Doncaster. We are now continuing to grow across the Yorkshire region, with a launch in Hull, Bridlington and Goole in the coming months. We are looking to recruit two Family Engagement Officers to join our dedicated Yorkshire team. We are recruiting for two separate positions across the region.
One role focuses on maintaining and supporting our successful, established service in West Yorkshire.
The second offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in the growth and development of our vital service as we expand into the East Riding.
As our ideal candidate you will be happy to travel in and around Yorkshire, and be able to travel regularly to meet with the team and to conduct home visits across the region. You will also need to be able to attend our Leeds Warehouse, or other areas when required.

We are looking for Sessional Workers to support Advance’s Criminal Justice Services. Advance’s Criminal Justice Services work with women involved in the Criminal Justice System offering safe, targeted support and advocacy to women to help them address their complex needs in relation to the 9 pathways to offending, such as substance misuse and financial difficulties, aiming to reduce re-offending, encourage desistance amongst repeat offenders, and empower women to live safe, crime free lives.
You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide one to one community support to women with a variety of needs simultaneously and will be co-located with partner organisations in their region. You will be expected to travel to Advance’s Head office in London for any organisational meetings and training, as and when required.

Mass Participation Officer
We are seeking a passionate and motivated professional to drive participation, engagement and income through a portfolio of exciting fundraising and challenge events across the UK.
Salary: £33,200 per annum (plus London weighting where applicable)
Location: Home-based, UK-wide with travel – Remote working
Hours: 35 hours per week – Flexible with compressed hours or a 9 day fortnight
Contract: Fixed-term until 31 March 2027

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a national charity and help deliver a portfolio of fundraising events that inspire supporters, build lasting relationships and generate vital income to support life-changing services.
Reporting to the Mass Participation Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of challenge and third-party events, ensuring an outstanding experience for participants from recruitment through to post-event stewardship. Working within a collaborative fundraising team, you will play a key role in driving supporter acquisition, engagement, income and retention.

Job description
The Head of Facilities & Safety Governance provides strategic and operational leadership for the Union’s facilities functions, ensuring the delivery of excellent services to students, staff, and the public, while developing these services in line with the Union’s strategies and objectives.
This role holds the professional responsibility for service standards, Health & Safety Governance, budget control, compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, and clear assurance reporting to the Board of Trustees and Union committees.
This post holder will lead the Union’s Facilities Management service, overseeing external contracts like cleaning, security and pest control. They will ensure full compliance in Health and safety, manage reactive repairs, and guarantee buildings are safe, fit for purpose and in excellent condition providing an outstanding work environment including agile office spaces and excellent commercial and student activity spaces.
Interviews will take place on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd September 2026.
