The opportunity:

We’re recruiting an Investment Manager to identify, assess and manage impact investment opportunities. You will also work with other teams to help develop the social impact investment market in the UK, working with investors, social enterprises and government.

We invest in our people as seriously as we invest our portfolio. You’ll accelerate your growth through hands-on experience across multiple asset classes, tailored training programmes, direct exposure to our Investment Committee, and collaboration with sector-leading specialists.

What you will do:

Support the development of new investment opportunities, including:

• Helping identify social issues or market needs where social impact investment can be an important part of the solution;

• Helping develop creative and innovative solutions to these identified social issues including building collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders including investors, charities and government.

Lead prospective investments through our investment process, including:

• Project and relationship management, including supporting pipeline development and tracking;

• Undertaking detailed investment analysis, including of the market, the prospective investee, and the financial, social impact and systems change cases;

• Supporting the structuring of prospective investments;

• Preparing and presenting investment recommendations to our Investment Committee;

• Helping negotiate legal documents and close transactions.

This role will start in either our social lending & ventures areas with the potential to rotate across asset classes over time.

Manage a number of our existing portfolio investments, including:

• Working with the fund managers to evaluate and manage their financial and social impact performance;

• Supporting and co-ordinating fund manager reporting to enable us to assess the contribution of the investments to our systems change, impact and financial goals across our portfolio and in the relevant asset classes;

• Supporting the design and undertake of analysis on impact and financial performance across portfolios of investments, including across asset classes and impact themes.

Systems change agent:

• Supporting the development and delivery of key strategic projects in BSC’s asset classes and strategic areas of focus, moving towards leadership of strands depending on experience and learning over time

• Managing relationships with and help the long-term business development of fund managers

• Supporting our engagement work with investors and with charities and social enterprises to deliver on our strategic goals

Team and approach

• Helping to build a world class social impact investment team and approach at Better Society Capital, including acting as a champion for part of our impact investing approach or being part of a working group to deliver a strategic priority.

• Contributing to organisation-wide initiatives that help us deliver our mission such as working groups to improve the way we work or how we engage with certain stakeholders.

Reporting to the Communications & Engagement Director, this is an exciting role focused on supporting and building PLP’s external profile and audience engagement. You’ll be responsible for: building relationships with journalists and securing media coverage, day-to-day content creation and the development of our digital channels. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Engagement, you’ll oversee marketing and communications across the organisation, line managing a team of specialists and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team. You’ll provide strategic leadership, clear direction and hands‑on support, ensuring activity is well planned, insight‑driven and aligned to our wider organisational objectives.

About the role

The British Museum is seeking an exceptional Patrons Coordinator to play a central role in delivering a high-quality, bespoke Patrons Programme.

You will have a direct impact on diversifying the Patrons Events Programme, ensuring the smooth running of the Patrons Events Programme. You will build and maintain strong relationships with the Museum's Patrons and Departmental Supporter Groups acting as a key point of contact, taking ownership of Patron communications and events and overseeing the effective administration of the Patrons scheme.

• Liaise with the Operations, Membership and Supporter Services teams to organise and deliver monthly Patron renewals, ensuring data is accurate and processes are timely.
• Working with the Membership and Supporter Engagement team to coordinate and deliver regular email and postal communications.

Patrons' events:

• Coordinate event logistics working third parties and Museum colleagues, in particular the Events and Supporter Engagement teams.
• Lead on the delivery of key events such as Patrons' Open House and Patrons' Previews, assisting the Senior Patrons Manager on the planning and delivery of the Director's Dinner, ensuring a high standard of execution throughout.
• Liaise with the Development Data and Research Officer to prepare briefing notes and supporting materials for events.

Patrons International Travel Programme:

• Support the coordination and delivery of the Patrons international travel programme, including managing communications, mailings, and preparatory materials.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and values‑led Accommodation & Facilities Manager to take responsibility for the safe, compliant and welcoming management of all Baca accommodation, offices and service delivery spaces.

This is a critical role within our service model. You will ensure that young people are provided with homes they can truly call their own, while staff and volunteers have safe, functional, culturally respectful environments in which to work. You will also lead our premises team and work closely with contractors, landlords and partners to deliver high‑quality, compliant properties across our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of all Baca accommodation, offices, and service delivery spaces applying practical and technical knowledge and experience to diagnose maintenance issues, oversee and complete repairs.
• Ensure properties are safe, welcoming, culturally appropriate, and fully compliant with health & safety and regulatory standards

About the role

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Finance Officer to join our small and welcoming team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with detail, likes helping others understand finance processes, and wants their work to genuinely make a difference. This role is only being offered in a full time, permanent capacity.

You’ll be right at the heart of the organisation, supporting our finance and grants work and helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. What you’ll be doing

Finance & grants support

• Looking after day‑to‑day bookkeeping using Xero, including accurate coding of transactions

• Reconciling bank accounts and Barclaycard statements each month

• Setting up and maintaining supplier and donor records, including bank details

• Supporting colleagues with ApprovalMax, Coretime and timesheet processing

• Reviewing staff and volunteer expenses to make sure they follow our policies

• Preparing supplier payment runs for review

About you

• An AAT Level 2 qualification or equivalent hands‑on finance experience

This individual will join a successful team, stewarding and cultivating existing supporters as well as managing a pipeline of prospects through their giving journey. You will work directly with the Head of Fundraising and be responsible for your own portfolio of major donors, trusts and family foundations. By August 2027 Bookmark aim to have reached 500,000 children with our literacy programmes, you could be part of that incredible goal.

Delivering the Philanthropy plan

• Work with the Director of Fundraising to grow the major donor portfolio within the wider strategy 
• Build and maintain a portfolio of existing and new major donors who give or can give £20,000 or more, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey
