The Opportunity
As Registered Manager, you will:
• Establish and shape a brand new children's home and supported living service
• Lead and develop a high-performing, child-centred team
• Drive quality, compliance, and outcomes for children with complex needs
• Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections, with the aim of achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding ratings
• Work closely with senior leadership, with real influence over service development and growth
This is a key leadership appointment with progression potential to Responsible Individual or Operations Manager as the service grows.
What You'll Do
Lead with vision and integrity
• Create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic home culture
• Be a strong advocate for children and young people
• Empower your team to deliver child-centred, outcome-focused care
• Embed therapeutic approaches such as Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed care
Own Ofsted compliance and readiness
• Register with and act as the Ofsted Registered Manager
• Ensure full compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
• Lead and prepare for Ofsted inspections
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve and maintain Good or Outstanding ratings
Champion safeguarding and care excellence
• Lead safeguarding practice and promote a strong safeguarding culture
• Oversee care planning, risk management, and reviews
• Ensure safe medication practices and accurate record keeping
Build, develop, and retain your team
• Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing staff team
• Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and performance management
• Support staff development including Level 3 and Level 5 pathways
• Build a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture
Operate the service effectively
• Manage rotas, ensure safe staffing levels, and oversee budgets
• Monitor KPIs, service quality, and outcomes
• Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, Commissioners, families, and professionals
• Participate in the on-call rota (shared across the leadership team)
What You'll Bring
Essential
• Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Strong, current knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes legislation
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and instinct
• Full UK driving licence
Desirable
• Experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
• Track record of achieving or maintaining Good/Outstanding Ofsted ratings
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed practice
• Experience of opening or developing a new service

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of impactful digital marketing activity that enhances the Society’s visibility, appeal and growth. About the Role
As Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll play an equally important role across two core areas: paid digital advertising and email marketing, working closely with colleagues across channels. This is a hands-on role for a confident digital marketer who combines data, creativity and channel expertise to grow awareness, engagement and conversion across our products, including membership, professional registers and CPD.
You’ll own our Google Ads activity (including Ad Grants), run paid social campaigns, and manage our external agency across Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok – leading the work, reviewing performance and ensuring activity delivers against strategy.
You’ll also plan and deliver targeted email campaigns and automated journeys, writing compelling copy that drives member acquisition, retention and engagement.
Insight is central to the role: you’ll set up tracking, build reports, turn performance into clear recommendations and continually optimise activity. You’ll bring strong PPC expertise and SEO awareness (essential), solid email and copywriting skills, and an interest in using new tools - including AI - to work smarter and deliver impact.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced digital marketer with proven hands‑on experience in paid media / PPC and email marketing.
You’ll be confident managing campaigns across Google Ads (including Ad Grants) and paid social platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, with a sharp eye on budget optimisation and return on advertising spend. You collaborate well with creative teams and external agencies, stay ahead of platform changes, and can translate performance data into actionable insight for a range of audiences.
You’ll bring strong working knowledge of Google Analytics, campaign tagging, conversion tracking and audience segmentation, alongside experience delivering email marketing campaigns and automated journeys. You’ll have a good understanding of SEO, landing page optimisation and GDPR best practices, and the ability to write clear, engaging copy across platforms.
Highly organised and collaborative, you’ll be comfortable owning multiple workstreams and combining analytical thinking with creativity. Formal marketing qualifications (particularly Google Ads certifications), CRM experience, familiarity with AI tools, and an interest or background in psychology would be an advantage.

South West Community Chaplaincy (SWCC) aims to provide effective care and community support for people going through the Criminal Justice System, including prison. This includes work such as advocacy, mentoring and holistic support to assist the integration of people with convictions into their communities, through a team of volunteers, within the counties of Cornwall , Devon and West Somerset.
We are looking for a committed and motivated individual who will be responsible for the recruitment, training, support and retention of the volunteers: someone who has the ability to think outside the box in the approach to this task, and to attract volunteers to be part of something incredible - the changing of clients’ lives.
Volunteers provide a cornerstone of the work that SWCC achieves. They allow the organisation to have a substantially more positive impact due to the greater number of clients they are able to support. To this end, it is imperative that we recruit the right people as volunteers and that they feel fully supported and valued for all they bring to the organisation.
SWCC aims to provide a professional focus and resource for faith communities in the area to establish new and innovative ways of helping participants address their offending behaviour. We do this by providing a network of support that can challenge and promote a positive attitude to change. This role (in conjunction with the chaplains) would fully explore church networks across the area as a potential source for volunteers. Utilising our training resources, we can offer to upskill congregations in safeguarding and also identify possible safe communities for our clients to be able to join.
There is an occupational requirement for applicants to actively embrace the faith ethos and values of SWCC and the successful applicant will have the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people. Some occasional weekend work will be involved.

Working as part of the Events & Programmes team, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth and effective running of events taking place in Crystal Palace Park, be they corporate, commercial, community or otherwise.
The role will oversee the safety, wellbeing and customer care of visitors and audiences, supervise volunteers, liaise with senior staff in the Events and Park Management teams and be a point of contact for visiting companies, hirers, producers and community groups.
Some evening and weekend work can be expected as many of our events take place outside of normal sociable hours. Peak periods will usually be during summer months.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with a broad range of people and communities and is enthusiastic about delivering excellent customer service.
