We are looking for a part-time Operations Manager to support our Executive Director and wider team by taking an operational lead, keeping a birds eye view over all of our activities and our infrastructure - and ensuring the principles and processes we’ve collectively agreed to are working optimally.
You will provide essential operational, administrative, financial and IT support. Lead in the day to day operations of the organisation, including office tasks, diary management and systemic thinking for our internal communications.
TERMS AND BENEFITS
Fixed term contract for 12 months (with the possibility of extension depending on future grants), £38,000 pro rata (equivalent to £22,800 per year), with a September or October 2026 start.
25 days of paid annual leave pro rata, plus bank holidays. In addition, the MDP office closes for two paid weeks over Christmas and New Year.

Project Management: support the team with resources, templates and systems for them to do their work effectively, implementing and managing MDP's project management platform and ensure the team are supported through their work.

Scope of the role
You will manage and successfully deliver key events including the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon, as well as third party and DIY challenge fundraising. You’ll lead on supporter recruitment and stewardship to meet or exceed agreed targets, while keeping budgets, income and performance on track, as well as maintaining accurate supporter data. You’ll also support on the delivery of Community and Virtual challenge fundraising, including our flagship challenge, Walk in Her Name.
1)Support planning and delivery of the Events programme

International Nepal Fellowship (INF) is a Christian health and development charity. Since 1952 they have had a huge impact serving the most disadvantaged people and communities in Nepal.

Power to Prosper is a national community wealth building programme, delivered by the New Economics Foundation (NEF) in partnership with a network of community hubs across the UK. The programme works to build community-owned economic power and challenge racial and economic inequality.

The Head of Operations oversees all of BIAS’s projects, managing a small, high-performing team of project coordinators and frontline advice and community-support staff to ensure that we provide the highest-quality service to our clients. In 2025, BIAS expanded its successful Brent-based advice service and active ageing clubs into Haringey borough. These are the basic duties required of the Head of Operations. BIAS is a local charity which has supported England’s largest Irish community in Brent for almost fifty years. We deliver our support through our welfare and housing advice service, our active ageing clubs, our volunteer project and our befriending scheme. We raise over £2 million in extra income for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged every year and have over 7000 attendances at our club services. BIAS has recently expanded into Haringey borough and has exciting plans to further develop its project scope and geographical reach, supported by sustainable and diversified grant funding, including from Ireland’s Emigrant Support Programme.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Events and Engagement Coordinator to provide excellent operational support to the Engagement Directorate to enable Mission 44 to build meaningful funder relationships and deliver impactful experiences.
The role sits at the intersection of the donor experience, events and supporting the functionality of the wider, newly established Engagement Directorate. It will have two priorities: to provide administrative and operational support across the team, including to the Chief Engagement Officer, and support the Events and Engagement team to execute first-class events.

In collaboration with colleagues support the planning and delivery of Mission 44's events, including fundraising and stewardship dinners, receptions and roundtable discussions, as well as trackside hospitality and donor experiences.
Manage invitations, RSVPs and attendee communications, acting as a first point of contact for events attendees, providing exceptional customer service.
Coordinate event logistics, including venue bookings, catering, accessibility requirements and wider production supplier management.
Support the preparation of live event materials, briefing packs, attendee lists and run sheets.
Support the wider Fundraising team with securing sponsorship, ticket sales, and securing auction items. This includes production of targeted collateral for outreach.
Work closely with the Fundraising Data and Operations Manager to ensure that events and donor data is updated accurately and in a timely manner to our CRM system (Virtuous).
Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure events materials are aligned with brand and messaging.
Provide on-the-day event support, including registration, stakeholder hosting and logistics management.

Coordinate internal team meetings, workshops and planning sessions.
